Posted December 4, 20204 yr Hello. When building models from Lego systems for a child tires of, switching to technic. I'll start with the last built model - a small minivan for minifigures. It was not possible to completely get rid of unnecessary colors - there are not enought details, or in others models. The car has a steering control output in the windshield, opening doors and trunk lid, a interrior from the system :)    Edited December 4, 20204 yr by dimka_ya
December 4, 20204 yr Looks great! I think you could replace the red pieces with black ones though, but keep the other colors.

December 8, 20204 yr I'm loving these! Will definitely try and find time over Christmas to build them for/with my kids...

Thanks, very nice. Large models lackpatience and detail. And the child does not play with them. And he likes the little ones with minifigures.
December 9, 20204 yr It just shows you how much out of scale the mini fig city vehicles are, as they rarely allow two people to even sit side by side.
December 10, 20204 yr Author next model :) Â Â Â Â 22 hours ago, trekman said: It just shows you how much out of scale the mini fig city vehicles are, as they rarely allow two people to even sit side by side. yeah. minifigures lack height. the speed champions series was widened and the cars were even taler :)
December 12, 20204 yr Author a new car, perhaps the last one, since the parts are running out :) Â Â Â Â Â
December 12, 20204 yr I really like this idea! Working at this scale and size gives a whole new bunch of challenges to overcome, a breath of fresh air compared to non-working gearboxes with 100+ gears or sagging suspensions with 3 shocks per wheel... @dimka_ya you did a great job on the looks of these cars, the technic parts do not allow a lot of variety at this scale, but you managed to give all these builds a very distinct look. Well done!Â

Well done!  thank you very much, very nice to hear! yes, the body design is more complicated. help details trom the system :) Your 7-seater family car is exellent! I hope when my son is older and I accumulate more parts we will build models on this scale :) Edited December 13, 20204 yr by dimka_ya
December 13, 20204 yr Author the final (most likely) version of the first model from this post. what was changed -Â the front part has been redesigned (other wheel arches), the steering wheel mount in the cabin has been reworked, a center armrest (with a cup holder:) ) has been added for the first and second rows of seats, the rear part has been lengthened (to fit the spare wheel in the trunk), along the way, rear lights course. Â Â Â Â Â
December 16, 20204 yr Author model â„–5 I wanted to make a suspension in this size. the idea that came to mind was a "breaking"Â frame. it turned out "cheap" and strong. Edited January 3, 20214 yr by dimka_ya

December 20, 20204 yr The pendular suspension truck is also quite nice. I liked that you shaved off the steering part to improve ground clearance. Alternative solutions are possible, but I think it's ok. Many of us have too many of that partÂ

I also use part 32184, but it gives a slight displacement of the wheel and parts 3749 are needed for it (and this sometimes becomes a problem :) ). There is still 32068 + 32069, but in a small size I have not yet figured out how to implement it :)
