The Rancor Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Yes, indeed the instructions are now up on the cutomer service part of the Lego website for both Uk and USA. This must mean that we are all in for this set very, very soon Anyway here are the links: Booklet 1 Booklet 2 Is it just me or is there not much room for the minifigs inside the plane (cramped)? Ronan Nissen Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Its my favourite out of all the Indy sets. Even if that scene wasn't in the movie... Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the link, Rancor! I think the set includes lots of useful pieces (handcuffs, yellow cheese slopes, another crystal skull, etc.) One of the best parts is this one in trans-black: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=45411 Too bad we have to put stickers on them... The only thing that bothers me is the use of Bruce's and Draco's faces again... Edited June 2, 2008 by Lego-Freak Quote
Siegfried Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Thanks! I agree; it does seem a bit small inside. I think it's a good set for parts though; some of the parts (like the 2x4 arc piece on the roof) I've never seen before. I like the undercarridge too. Quote
Asuka Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Thanks! What a fine detailed set, the landing gear looks at least a little retractable and the small vehicles look also very neat! A wonderful plane and a great playset too, the only downside is that I don´t know if I´ll be dare enough to put the stickers on these beautiful trans black parts, like Lego-Freak mentioned.... Quote
Canticleer blues Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) Awesome! I just built most of that small car using those instructions. It's great, an excellently designed small car, I'd say just as good as the one in the "Race for the Stolen Treausre" set. Once I get the Indy BM promo, I can finish it in its proper dark green. zero1312 Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 What a nice set. Ruining rare pieces? Way to go LEGO!!! Quote
Joey Lock Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 What a nice set. Ruining rare pieces? Way to go LEGO!!! Dude its a Good thing... I meen for people like me. I think lego is finally getting things. I meen I dont like it when they put 1 good piece in Sets that you either dont want or cant afford. I dont meen to be offensive but keeping the Rare bits for the big sets seems selfish... Thats why I love the new Jungle Duel set, Its full of good little pieces, Cutlasses, New Knife Colour, New hair and Tent! Quote

If you are able to, could you post pictures? TLC should have put that car instead of the cave in the Jungle Cutter set, I would buy it if they released it in that. But, probably, this is the only Crystal Skull set I'll get, for this year..... Quote
Svelte Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 The plane is a nice build, I'm not sure why people seem a little disappointed that the interior is a little cramped - especially when many AFOLs don't like the super-large Passenger/ Cargo planes for example. For something this size it seems reasonable to me. It is still larger than the 'classic' planes in that it can fit more than one row of chairs one behind the other! I think it's a nice compromise between the large moulded sets and a brick-built design. The little dark green vehicle is great too . Quote
captmaarek Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 (edited) I like the smaller interior and I mean it's LEGO we can modify it to our hearts content, so I think it's a null issue. I was able to stop by a LEGO store in New Jesery, and I asked them if they had any new stock for specifically 7628, which he didn't know about, I showed them the instructions and he made a call to someone, who told him they'd be available in August. I'm hoping they decide to let these out earlier as they have with a few sets due in June (Batman). UK TRU has 7628 listed as available and can be added to your cart. Oddly It wouldn't let me add 3 and check out. I live in the US so it doesn't matter for me, but all UK buyers get em while they're hot! Edited June 4, 2008 by captmaarek Quote
