Axel Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Now I'm really confused...wait! I get it! You're talking about the new AT-TE, not the old one! I understand now! Quote
Oky Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Alright, so I looked at the instructions AND the pics from Toy Fair, and I have made an estimation of the width of the new AT-TE. Judging from photos, the middle legs seem to each stand at least six studs further out than the ones at the front and back. So, we just have to add two times six studs to the 14 studs that make up the chasis of the AT-TE and the 3 1/2 studs that every front and rear foot sticks out under that chasis on each side. That means, this is what we get: 14+(2x6)+(2x3 1/2)=33 So, whoever is planning on using the new AT-TE in their entry needs to have at least 50x33 studs of free baseplate space available for it. Quote
Clonecommando007 Posted July 22, 2008 Author Posted July 22, 2008 Nine more days everyone! And only four more till the Clone Wars sets come out! Best of luck to all of you who are still working on their entries. Quote
Fat Tony Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Good work with your vignette, Fat Tony! Thank you very much! Quote

Erdbeereis Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Put it in the Clone Wars contest entries thread. It's pinned at the top of this board. Hope you find it! Quote
commanderbly42 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I've finished my bignette - I just have to get it in on time now. Quote
Clonecommando007 Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 I see a couple new entries I really like...I love the one where Obi wan is fighting the sith on that platform and that cool clone in it, and I like the one by Clone Factory. One more day before Clone Wars sets are availible!! Quote
Orion Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 (edited) Are we being judged on just the build, or is ingenuity, creativity, and concept being judged also? Edited July 27, 2008 by Orion Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Are we being judged on just the build, or is ingenuity, creativity, and concept being judged also? Good question, I've been wondering the same thing. Looks like we're getting pretty close to the cutoff, how long will the voting last? Quote

Skipper 24 Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 (edited) Clonecommando007 some CC here. If you retake the pics make dukoo have grey hair and use the actual fig if you have him (I'm assuming you don't). Also blue lights on the Holo Table would look better because who's ever seen a red and yellow hologram? No offense meant. Good luck everyone! Edited July 28, 2008 by Skipper 24 Quote
CloneMe Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Just wondering, when does the judging end? I know it starts on the 31st just dont know when it ends. Quote

I can think of three people/groups thereof: Me You The world of Star Wars Fans who have seen Episode II: Attack of the Clones Take another look at the CIS planning room holotable, and Poggle's plans for the Death Star and I think you'll want to reword your post. pedro Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Hello all, I've just added my competition entries Last Stand on Argoth and AT-RT Assault, my bignette and vignette respectively. I hope you all like them! There's a lot going on in my bignette, so please take some time and immerse yourself in the action by flicking through the images on Brickshelf (once moderated): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=333280 There's some excellent entries in this competition, so the very best of luck to all you entrants! Quote
Oky Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Wow! That is one nice bignette there, Pedro! Good Job! Can't wait for the folder to become public. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it is very similar to mine. My bignette is about a downed ship whose crew needs rescue as well, but it's a different ship on a different planet. WOW. We stand no chance with a bignette like that. Thats by far the best Ive seen. Thats just magnificent. WOW. Quote
JimBee Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I have to say, you have a very impressive biggnette there, pedro. I did look through the BS pages, and I love how much detail you've added. The dying clones (especially the falling pilot) were cleverly positioned, as were the droids. I like the captain sneaking behind the rocks, that really brings out the feel of urgency and panic. I also like the inclusion of the custom hair. The padawan could have been posed better, because it looks like he's sleeping, but I do like the choice of the head you used. Do you remember which set you got that one in? And most importantly, I love your custom ship, is it a recolored Republic Cruiser? Also, the crab droid is very cool. Quote
pedro Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Thanks for the nice comments! I have to say, you have a very impressive biggnette there, pedro. The head I used for the Padawan is Ron's sleeping head from the harry Potter set 4762 Rescue from the Merpeople... which is maybe why he looks a bit like he's actually sleeping! As for the ship I built it from scratch but heavily inspired by the CR-20, Republic Cruiser and Tantive IV, hence me calling it a CR-19 Quote
Millacol88 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 All of the entries are great, but pedro's bignette is particularly stunning. Amazing job! Quote
JimBee Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Very funny entry, millacol88 ! The clones were hungry so they made that small lunch base in the middle of battle? Thanks pedro, I might BL that piece. The padawan looks like he's sleeping because of his pose: it looks like he just laid down for a nap. Now, if he was facing down, with legs and arms sprawled (or something like that), he would look like he's dead better. Quote
pr0visorak Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Pedro's binigette entry is definetly something that no one would have thought of.Great job especially for the ship! Quote
Millacol88 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) Yup, they were hungry so they set up an empty clone helmet as well so the droid snipers would be preoccupied. Edited July 30, 2008 by millacol88 Quote

JimBee Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Nice entries, babyjawa and commanderbly42. The Grievous Escape vig is really cool, and cleverly built. And the Tri-droid in that bignette is cool as well, and I like the inclusion of Mace Windu. Quote
