Just click on your pic on brickshelf until its on a white background page, then copy the address from the browser, then when you post, there is a button called 'insert image' when you click it paste the address there and hit enter the address should have on both ends.

Hey Trooper nice Vig, but im pretty sure CC007 stated that you can only post one pic of your vignette and bignette and link to the rest.

Cheers and GL everyone :classic:

Oh come, now! I'm sure he'll let this one pass. Besides, it's not like it'd get disqualified, right?

*vig gets disqualified* :cry_sad:

Yes. Click here for a tutorial.

If it was before Geonosis, it's not during the CW, and doesn't this disqualify this vig from a contest where you have to build something from the CW? :sceptic:

However, if it is somehow linked with something from the CW, it should be OK, I guess. I'm looking forward to your bignette (which will feature something about Project 13 from during the CW, right? :look: ) and the upcoming pics that are supposed to tell the story of your vig! :classic:

Oh for pete's sake, how about you just hush up and leave this for CC to figure out?

JK! CC can disqualify it if he wants... :sadnew:

And yes, it is linked to the CW. :sweet:

ISC:

Trench battle:

All others:

There are some really cool creations in the entry thread so far

It will be difficult to come up with something good and different now :tongue:

I Scream Clone's is really cool I think and the activated lightsaber is ok too I think, just doesn't help camouflaging Obi

Rook's R2-SBD Battle Scene is really close to the movie and I do remember how the movie theater burst laughing seeing this scene in the EpIII premiere, including me

Numbuh23 - Very nice scene, thought of doing it too, but you were faster :classic: Just a tip maybe: I would take the Padawans lightsaberhilt away because building a lightsaber is done in one process, they don't build the hull and then put their crystal in...

Best regards and good luck to everybody!

Remember everyone; don't rush art; and LEGO is art. That's why I set the deadline at the end of July! You all will have plenty of time to build your best work for the contest.

Numbuh23, your vignette is very original! Great work thinking that up!

Boom, I like the way you put the backround in your bignette, and the flowers you used. Nice work!

Question: If we want to use a MOC that is in the proccess of being built (I.E. Idea finished, building started) can we use them, or will they be disqualified for the bignette? Also, is it against the rules to build a new version of an old MOC for the contest? ( like a starfighter or something, but improved or in a different color /ect.?) Thanks! I am really looking forward to this!

Okay, my questions were never answered...

Also, completely non-cannon vigs are ok, right? Getting mine prepared as we speak...

Yup, he says either canon or non-canon vigs/bigs are OK; it's in the rules. :sweet:

Notice how mine is completely non-canon...

Usually, the rules of an EB contest state that using old MOCs is fine as long as they haven't been published before, but seeing as this one doesn't have such a rule, it's a question of choice. If you use old designs, people are gonna recognize them and file your entry under 'unoriginal'. :sceptic: So, if you want to win, it would be best to design something new. :sadnew: On the other hand, if you haven't published those MOCs before (or haven't even finished building them), or change them by moding (improving) and/or recoloring them, it should be fine! :classic: In that case, it would be good, though, if you wouldn't mention that it's an old idea!

Basically: If it's not in the rules, it's not against them! It's just up to you to decide if it will make your entry superior to the others! :vader:

I hope that helped. But for the next time, I give you a hint: admins don't like it when you are too persistent with questions! :hmpf_bad: Believe me, I've been through that! :sadnew:

Looks like a great contest, however, I have a question: You say we can use custom parts from dealers online, so I trust Lifelites are allowed? Or does the rule only refer to minifigure parts...

(Linky: http://lifelites.com/ )

Thanks you kindly!

Those are fine too; go ahead and use them! I'm actually looking forward to seeing them in an MOC...it'll be very unique I think!

As long as it isn't Megabloks, of course! If you look at the entries, several include clone ordnance from The Little Arms Shop.

CC beat me to it... :sweet:

Thanks, Oky! Time to get some work done! Besides, I have NEVER published anything here, so I guess i'm safe! Good luck to everyone!

Just looked over your entry trooperdavinfelth, but I'm sorry - I don't really get an idea about what's it about, what's going on (well a battle, but... ) and the link doesn't lead to more pictures for me?

Maybe you could add some rather 'overall-pics' and describe your big a bit more? :classic:

Yah everyone, I'm new. Uhh can I do a vignette on Felucia. I made it and then realized that there was a bignette on the subject. Everyones is really nice. I'm still thinking of an idea for my bignette.

Iceman03: Nice concept (Hoth Battle: Clone Wars Style)

trooperdavinfelth: I can't see your bignette pictures. I'd love to see them though.

One thing: I failed to take an overall pic of everything; too much focused on the story. :cry_sad: But I may be able to rebuild the Juggernaut and the... Everything else.

Yeah, that image hosting service won't let other people see my pics. I guess I'll post them five at a time, or do them all in a seperate topic so it doesen't clog up the other thread. CC? What say ye? Should I post it in the topic or in a seperate thread?

OR, I could host em' on Brickshelf. So many choices...

Pretty much! :cry_sad:

Nice bignettes btw, TDF & Numbuh 23! What are those triangles in the ground supposed to be, 23, rocks? You might want to try to make them look a little more 3-dimensional. Also, it would be very nice if you would get the RGS once it comes out, and switch the heads of Plo Koon and the scout trooper with the new ones! :sweet: (although the ones you used work pretty well  ) Is the Scout Trooper a reference to Indy Month?

CW Contest ON!
