Vaders_son Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 @legorevolution - I think your just allowed to have a max of 1 stud overhanging at any side and your links don't work. Maybe you should fix that or ask someone for help if you don't know how to. Best regards, Benny Quote

Shoot, I guess I'll have to re-cram that sub into my moc and then repost. As for the link, I've just tried it a few times, and nothing seems to be working. Could you possibly help me out on that one Quote

That rule only applies to vignette entries, and yours is a bignette! A very good one if I may say! That's a very nice subfighter, scuba-trooper, sea floor, and... naked Kit Fisto! The force technique is very good as well! Quote
JimBee Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Hey, great entry, legorevolution! i saw this in a comic book, i think. You did an ecxellent job on it, it might have my vote. Quote

I played around with Kit for awhile... awkward... and that was the best design I came up with. Personally the whole brown leg/pants thing didn't look to good. Thank you very much, I am pleased with the moc myself! Hey, great entry, legorevolution! i saw this in a comic book, i think. You did an ecxellent job on it, it might have my vote. Hmm, I didn't take it out of a comic book. I actually just watched the cartoon Clone Wars series and enjoyed this battle so I made it from scratch. Would you possibly know how to create a legit link here on Eurobricks? I'm having trouble... Quote

legorevolution Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Try uploading to Flikr or Photobucket. I have a Photobucket account so I might try that. The problem with promoting your mocs is that there's so many sites... I prefer mocpages though. Quote
CloneMe Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Wow i hevent been through here for a while and i sure did miss out on a lot. That is a really nice moc legorevolution. The cartoon series provides tons of ideas. Quote
hollisbrick Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 I'm not going to disqualify an entry because it has a plant overhanging. Don't worry about it, I'm a nice guy. thank you! glad you guys like it! bit late to reply but ive been in melbourne! Quote

Tarfful Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 (edited) Wow I haven't been through here in a while; I sure did miss out on a lot. That is a really nice moc legorevolution. The cartoon series provides tons of ideas. snip Thanks! snip Yes, it is a great bignette. There's one problem though, according to rule ten for Vignette Entries, it will be disqualified as legorevolution's entry was previously entered in a contest over on Cabbage (CABG). This is just a reminder of the fact that we should always read the rules before we submit our entries. Vignette Rules:1. Your Vignette must be built on an 8x8 stud base. 2. There is no height limit for your Vignette. 3. The Vignette can be representing cannon or non-cannon material. 4. You are allowed to have 1 stud maximum of material hanging off each side of the base. This does not mean you can build a 10x10 base overtop of your standard base. 5. Be creative; come up with your own scenario, troopers, natives, whatever. This is Clone Wars era, not necessarily clones. 6. You must provide a title and a minimum of two sentences describing your scene. 7. In your submission post, post only one picture of your vignette, the description, title, and a gallery link. 8. Your entry may contain official Lego sets, and/or your own designs. 9. Your entry may only consist of official LEGO parts, modified LEGO parts, parts by Wuzzupbob, Arealight, The Little Arms Shop, or other custom Lego parts dealers on the web. 10. Your submission may not be any previously built, displayed, or constructed model. Any such entry will be disqualified and the submitter may be disqualified as well. On another note, CloneMe you need to work on your grammar. I took the liberty of correcting your mistakes in the quote above, hope that helps. Tarfful Edited July 1, 2008 by Tarfful Quote
Commander Faie Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Tarrful with all due respect, I think that LegoRevolution intended to do Mon Calamari for this contest first because CC-007 brought up this contest first then Rook brought up the other contest later. Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 CC: I'm considering replacing my vignette entry with a new one. If this is possible I'll edit all my posts in the entries topic. It's on an 8x6 base and has lots of foliage overhanging. Quote
Clonecommando007 Posted July 5, 2008 Author Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) It's on an 8x6 base and has lots of foliage overhanging. Trooper, really quick before you start, it must be on an 8x8 to be a vignette; and the foilage can only overhang by 1 stud. Also, since Wuzzupbob's custom figure folder is experiencing lots of lag, he's published it in a .JPG. The fourth place winners will be able to pick any one of these...for their own: Edited July 5, 2008 by Clonecommando007 Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Dammit, more jedi visions I was talking about how good your Bignette is lol sorry for the confusion Jedi visions! Always a good thing as long as they don't forsee death. Well, I'm getting some new pics up soon so that should eliminate any confusion about it. It's a lot more actiony and really defines what's going on in the bignette. And I've decided I like my old vignette better. Quote
JimBee Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 OW! those figs are great! if i win 4th place (which i doubt), i would pick aayla secura. maybe even jango. But their all so... amazing! Best of luck to everyone! Quote
Oky Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Hey guys, do you suppose the new AT-TE would fit on one of those large grey baseplates? It seems so long. Why am I asking? I am planning on going to my local Lego Store on the 26th to get the new CW sets and incoorprate them in my entry, so that I can kick all of your butts! Quote
