[Ep7 - CAT - A] [O7-Krownest-CE] Tracks in the snow...

Following the trail from the town I made my way out the tunnel and into the wilderness and fading light.

Out here the tell tale tracks of Imperials, never side by side to hide their numbers, tell me where they are heading in the thick snow.

I follow and after a short amount of time i'm led to the shore line of the lake and the compound on its bank.

Firefight on the icy shores

As I approach, I encounter a lone patrolman and make swift work of him.

Turning my attention to the opposite shore, I retreated into the treeline and made for the compound - I counted 7 tracks in the snow covered ground, i'd make swift work of the Imp's.

Just as soon as I've scoped the place out, I don't want any surprises...

Spoiler

Some additional shots:

I wanted to display the forests of Krownest in tis build, with the limitations of CAT A i've achieved this in building the opposite shore of a lake in Microscale with a compound surrounded by trees.

Some of these are brick built though i've also tried to display depth using SNOT to build trees out plates on there sides too across the snow covered ground under grey skies,

I'm pretty pleased with how the tree mid-decapitation came out,

A quick wrap up on this line of enquiry as we search buildings for Pyerce,

This looks amazing! I have one nitpick though: You used a female Mandalorian helmet for a male Mandalorian. Looks great, other than that!

Thanks.

For me, it was more that the colour of this helmet suited the figure which is why I went for it. Next time I use this figure I may look to add a visor to cover the eyes but I think the helmet works well in this instance

I do this a lot. My SigFig is a dude, but wears a girl's helmet. I figure he just hasn't realised. But we are post-purge here, and resources are in limited supply.

A bucket is a bucket no matter what it looks like!

Thanks for the comments on perspective @Macropus  @Darth Bjorn@halixon, @Denal31 I wanted to show a sweeping landscape and so within the confines of CAT A I had to play around with perspective here (and in some of my other builds too)

Love the tree explosion! And using Lloyd's torso works so well for your fig.

Thanks! The tree was the first thing I built in this scene and the rest stemmed from there (adding the snow to the tree top was a head scratch but Zanes mask really worked here to cover the underside of the plant)
Lloyds Dragon hunters/Sons of Garmaddon costume screamed Mandalorian to me so glad its come across well.

Nice entry. I like a lot the action of the build and the forced perspective. But I think the upper light gray walls don't help to the perspective.
