@Brick-a-brac called TLG changed 6x6 to 4x4 because 6x6 version use in army.

But....in my eyes, those DBG/black combo looks like more military style than original white/green.

Am I the only one who thinks like this?

I don't mean to expose @Brick-a-brac

Okay I'm more inclined to believe this now... a live rear axle sounds good, but I'd be keen to see the front be live as well. The locking diffs are also quite welcome.

Still, pity there's no crane for such a huge price point. It would've been nice to have a distributor gearbox somewhere in there for a knuckle crane and outriggers to give some hands-on play value.

Yeah, it's a shame that this Zetros isn't a utility vehicle. There are so many cool configurations with which TLG could have kitted it out.

There have been in the past add-on kits for sets, such as the pneumatic towing crane for the 8466. Doing something similar (with maybe instructions for building alternative add-ons for other sets) for the Zetros could be a good business opportunity for TLG.

Ha, yeah right. Like they'd pick the creative option. :hmpf:

They really should have done that with the original Unimog (snowplough etc, not AA!)

Not a chance hahahah, they can't even make a B-model nowadays, nevermind an add-on set unless it is some weird game/app add-on (Vidiyo, Nintendo, Dimensions...) :thumbdown::thumbdown:

Nice to see the half bushes in black, though the #21&#22 panels were much better, overall the cab became a bit worse IMO. As far as I can tell the "doors" don't open either?!

No problem, that's something I have wondered about as well.

Yes I totally agree to that, I kind of prefer the old front from the white-green 6x6 version, too. I'm not a 100% sure if the set includes black half bushes, since I can't look inside the model. Technically TLG could have also used a thin 1x2 liftarm. I have just rebuilt the overall shape as I could see it.

On the flip side I am sure AFOLs will go to town on add-ons and different configurations.  That is what made 8110 so much fun IMO.  I likely will be getting this set, just to do all the adaptations to it that likely will arise...

Yep. 6x6 will surely be one of the first to occur :-)

I thought I was the only one who thought that too! It really does look like they are fixed panels

Maybe they chance that, it’s still not the official model. A €300 licensed set without opening doors is almost impossble IMO

The Volvo A60H doesn't even have doors!

I'd like to add a few more things I explained in german in the video:

To me it seems that according to the pictures I got the doors can be opened. There won't be a teddy bear on the bumper but some sort of rubber duck. I decided to use the bear because there's no duck available in stud.io.

If you have some questions don't hesitate to contact me :)

is it possible to know whether you can see tire dimensions on your images? Not asking for images, just for information

Because in real life it has glass doors

He already stated that the tyres are smaller than the Xerion tyres (18 treads rather than 20). Seeing as the Jeep tyres are the same size as the corresponding balloon version, I see no reason why that wouldn't be the case with these versions as well.

you mean 81,6 x 38? But 107 x 44 has different overall diameter to width ratio than 56 x 26...

So. To sum up, we've gone from this:

to this:

Is it just me, or did the 6x6 version look better? :sceptic:

On the plus side though, it's one less axle for the drivetrain to handle, so the 4x4 arrangement might work out better.

Well we don’t know exactly how the 4x4 looks. We know the bodywork but there’s nothing really beyond that

@Maaboo35 I also think the 6x6 looks better, but this 4x4 looks especially weak because it is missing double tires in the rear. That doesn't look good at all.

Single tires setup is standard option on Zetros. Most of the Western and Eastern off-road-capable trucks have single tires at the back.
Single tires provide better traction and better ground clearance.
Those are huge and meaty 14.00 R 20 tires, and I think they look great both in the single and double setup, and far from weak.
