With friction would be a new color for 43093; could equally be either 3749 (without friction). Here's hoping.
February 20, 201411 yr What is the partnumber for the new type of 24 teeth gear with clutch? I believe you may be referring to a cut differential used in D3K's Swingloader MKII. This is not an official piece, but a modified one that D3K made for his MOC

June 13, 201410 yr Hi all. For a while I have been thinking about building an Unimog-like vehicle, but with my old Techinic parts. Something like 8110, same scale, but probably a bit simpler, considering what I have to work with :-) Nothing build yet, but tonight I was testing my old pneumatic parts. ( my technic collections pretty much is pre-1986.) the pneumatics are of the first series. They happen to work just fine. However, I attached them to my 8110 Unimog and then it didn't...... The cylinders extend, but do not return. I don't get why that happens. I'm sure somebody here does?

First gen pneumatics work on a different principle, they use only one input per cylinder and a special valve which allows for negative and positive pressure, so the cylinders and extend and retract with only one input.
June 13, 201410 yr I understand that. But everything is connected correctly. With the pld manual pump, the same set-up works, when connected to the outlet on the unimog, not......
June 14, 201410 yr I guess that's because the pumps also work different, is that what you are trying to explain to me?
June 14, 201410 yr The old pump suplied both negative and positive pressure. The next gen supplies only posiitve pressure, hence your pistonts dont retract. If you wanna use old pneumatics replace the new'ish' pump with a simple cylinder which has no one-way valves.
