May 22, 20168 yr Everything is actually possible, except for the jumps. I personally don't like high speed remote control creations, they are really hard to drive if you don't have lots of open space.

May 27, 20168 yr so i bought this lot of red technic connectors off ebay...there was no description on the lot other then <technic connectors>, but i spotted a red #3 in the pic. you could not see the number written on the connector (3) but i knew from the angle it was a #3. he was asking for €3 so i said what the hell....i got it today and the package had 6 red #3 in the bag!!!!!!! :-)

Lots of potential with this part. https://twitter.com/...584306515841024 I find an even easier way to attach those fans to an axle is to just use a typical Ø30mm tire and a corresponding wheel. Seems to offer more than enough friction to function without slipping.
June 6, 20168 yr Hello! I have a question regarding the IR receivers in 8043. As I could figure out, this set was delivered with V1 and V2 receivers too. Mine says V2 - original set from Lego, I opened the box. But I remember for a comparison, where V2 receivers won't work with M motors. Mine just runs fine. I am confused now, and I am unsure if these receivers are really V2 - although both are printed with the magical letters. The reason I ask, if I have to invest into V2 receivers for future projects (2L motors + Servo), or something is wrong (here: GOOD ), and I have indeed the needed V2 receivers already? Another one: do XL motors also perform better with V2? Setup would be: 2XL - 1 Servo

Another one: do XL motors also perform better with V2? Setup would be: 2XL - 1 Servo Lucky you. My 8043 only came with V1... V2 have problems if more than one M-motor is connected to a channel. I think it is due to the initial current draw of the motors tripping some current overprotection. It should work fine if only one M-motor is connected to a channel like 8043 is setup. You could open up the IR Receiver and see if it has the Texas Instrument DRV8833 chip used in the V2. V1 has a Sanyo LB1836M motor driver chip. The DRV8833 chip allows for more current up to 1.5A. You are still limited to the 800mA limit out of the battery box, unless you bypass the current limiting fuse in the PF battery box or use non-LEGO power supplies.

June 19, 20168 yr Hi, so I have been trying to find the video of a single cylinder lpe but have not found it. The engine is a switchless design, with four 50 tooth gear at the front arranged in a T formation. It is quite large, and I think the creator labeled it as the most powerful lpe ever.If anyone could point me towards the YouTube video, I would very much appreciate it.

I particularly want to have the angled A arms (white lines), they should be approximately 6 studs long. Any help would be really appreciated.

I personally think they are the best looking tires that LEGO has made with beautiful treads. The deep indent makes it also possible to fit 56mm wheel covers, which I think rocks! Getting them off Bricklink (at €7ea) is better than accumulating those "friends" colored parts off the drag racer.

July 12, 20168 yr What wheel covers are you talking about? The 58088 and 50965, which are both meant for the Technic medium wheels, but with the Tumbler tires, you can add them to the Technic small wheels. I could imagine this looking good on a Sport SUV. Here is an image with some other custom covers.
