How do you get the gear "PRO" badge?

Well, if you've been very good, at christmas time the big man in red will kindly leave one for you under your tree (or just your profile picture!)

Hi guys!

I'm back to Technic - as an AFOL now - last time I had bought my own set when I was 12 :D, then I gave all my bricks to my little cousin, with whom I have recently played and I realised that I miss Lego really really bad.

I want to buy something, which will provide me with a great number of parts and also allow me to build mostly cars (and aircraft) in the future. I thought of 42054 Xerion, but it seems that there are no usefull chassis bricks in this set. However, I still consider it great and probably will buy it in the future. The other idea was 42043 Arocs which impressed me with all these pneumatics and chassis. The other idea was to buy... a car 42039 (Porsche is great but for me it costs too much for its functions), but it does not provide me with motor or a battery, so I think I'll choose between Arocs and Xerion for now.

What do you think?

Hi Jim ! is it only cars that count to get a pro builder gear ?

No, absolutely not.

Hi guys!

What do you think?

Hey!

I still recommend the 42039!! Great model. Or get the plane, which does have a PF box and motor.

Yeah, I've read your review ( You're doing a great job with them) and also liked it. It's also the cheapest one of all three, so that's a big advantage.

Ok. so how do i get one myself besides from the MOCs i have already presented ?

Bribes are guaranteed to work!! That's the quickest way to earn awesomeness.

You ether have to build more awesome mocs or bribe Jim.

Daniel, I would take a look at the race-car and the off-roader from 2015.There is also pneumatics in the volvo set out now if you are after them.

There is also Bricklink if you just want to by specific parts.

By off-roader you mean 42037? It looks great, but I think I'll go for something bigger.

Pneumatics is cool, but as I've said before, I'm more into cars than cranes, so it's not decisive point. I'd love to build Arocs, because it's impressive, but now it occured to me that the 42043's price could just be too high for my first Lego set in years.

You won't get the Pro tag for MOCs already presented. So make sure to deliver new outstanding MOCs and one day you might get the Pro tag.

For now, you have also received the regular Technic tag.

Well then ! I have a great moc already, but it stil need a little more tweaking here and there.

The only hint i can give away now, is that it uses some of the new pneumatic V2 and it's yelllow..

Stay tuned !

Oh and i think it might end up in HOF

Thanks alot Jim.

@Daniel - The LeMans racer is the best option, you can buy PF separately, on Bricklink , Brickowl or directly from Lego

Thank you all guys for opinions. I think I'll do as you suggest and for now go for the 42039 Racer. Then... we'll see :)
