marvelBoy123 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 *Your entry has earned 8 XP* Enough was enough, the Triumvirate was going to take control of Sneeve once and for all and for that to happen, they needed to show they meant business. That was why they sent in top diplomat Quas Imsa, a pau'an with a ruthless reputation and an unparalleled desire for success. A loyalist from the days of the Old Empire, he was an expert tactician and negotiator and exactly the right person for such a difficult job. Relations with the Sneevels had improved significantly after the Triumvirate agreed to protect them from off world settlers and it was hoped that with a little incentive they would willingly join the Triumvirate. The Triumvirate had a less strict policy to non-humans than the empire before it and the security it brought meant membership was an attractive concept for many outer rim planets. That said, any who were unwilling to comply would be dealt with accordingly... The arrival was grand with the ambassador landing in his custom shuttle and walking with his guard to meet the Sneevel's leader. Spoiler This was definitely a more challenging build than most of my previous ones - the shape of the landing platform was a change from my usual fairly squared designs and while it proved difficult to put together and build a landscape around, the end result was definitely worth it. RocketBoy Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Super striking, very well composed. Great job! Quote
Brickwolf Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Nicely shaped landing platform. It looks properly imperial! Quote
marvelBoy123 Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 Thanks, the landing pad was definitely a challenge to make - I didn't have enough to make it octagonal [or whatever shape it would be] so I had to find a way to make the sides joining it straight. Glad you guys like it! Quote
Darth Bjorn Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 The landing pad is definitely the star of this show! Great work... Quote
Goldiebricks Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Love the story, an intriguing character and I can’t wait to see where this goes Quote
dvogon Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 This is a quite creative build. The landing pad final result is quite effective, given how difficult is shape it with Lego pieces. I also like the menacing ambassador with his black shuttle. Well done! Quote
MKJoshA Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 I love your landing pad, I just wish it could have been done without the exposed stud undersides. And your shuttle is perfect. Quote
