Lucca is indomitably the best!

If we do get an anniversary set (like 75932 and 75941) it probably won't be too big, considering the largest set is only $50 or $60. But I would love to get a Spinosaurus as a JP 3 set!

I 100% agree with you on Lucca!

Yes, I agree. Indrominius Rex vs Ankylosaurus set is a kindaa big one, over 500 pieces, I think but it has two big dinosaurs (BIG BONUS!). So probably Spinosaurus and the river boat? I would love to get Spinosaurus too. It’s a MUST for sure.

If your idea appears this year:

76942 - Spinosaurus Face-Off - $69.99 - 308 pieces - 4 Minifigs, 1 Spinosaurus, 1 Boat (with cage), 1 Large Crane

$70 would be an expected price to ask, but it would only have 308 pieces. Of course it would contain a new dinosaur, but it just would seem too small, with only 3 big items. I would only buy the Spino, so it wouldn't greatly affect me . I still think your idea is great, though, and it is personally my favorite!

Awesome! You guys did a good job! I hope to get a Peloroplites next year in that $29.99 set if it is in Dominion.

Considering it only appeared as a corpse in a deleted scene I highly doubt we'll ever get it

Ha ha! Although it did appear as a corpse in a NON-deleted scene (lava chase scene). I made my own using epoxy and a bootleg Lego-compatible Triceratops. It actually looks a lot better than I thought it would.

If the rumors are true, and we do see a Pyroraptor in Dominion, I'd love to see 2 of them in the $30 set instead. It would be based on the small dilophosaurus mold, but no frills or crests, just a short crest of feathers on its head, some on its arms, and a plume on its tail. Unlikely, but awesome!

I'd expect only 1 Pyroraptor in a $30 set and I doubt it'll get a new mold. If it does get one it would be a new upper-jaw/head for the standard Velociraptor.

Too bad. Could we expect 2 in the $40 set like 75920...?

Yeah! I think Spinosaur and the river boat set would be great one as an anniversary set. I mean, Spinosaur is a nasty dinosaur who killed T-rex in Jurassic Park III and it can swim in water. So Spinosaur is a semi-aquatic dinosaur, we really need one that swim! Of course, Parasaurolophus can swim in river or lake too. I’m not going to count Mosasaurus as a “semi-aquatic” creature.

We already kind of have a semi-aquatic dinosaur: Baryonyx. But getting a Spino would be great! I'd like to save 76942 for Spino (if that's what it is) and save 75941 for a potential large herbivore, like Sinoceratops, Nasutoceratops, Stegosaurus, or Parasaurolophus. The prices, your idea takes place, would probably be $20, $30, $50, and $70. It is a little early to speculate, but this is what Lego would probably do:

76939 - Pteranodon Helicopter Pursuit - $19.99 - 129 pieces - 2 Minifigs, 1 (JP3 colored) Pteranodon, 1 Helicopter, 1 Small Laborotory, 1 Net-Launcher

76940 - Gentle Giant's Petting Zoo (?) - $29.99 - 198 pieces - 4 Minifigs (2 adults, 2 children), 1 Baby Apatosaurus, 1 Baby Triceratops (or Sino), 2 Baby Gallimimus (baby dinos), 2 Large Paddocks, 1 Quad

76941 - Sinoceratops Encounter - $49.99 - 240 pieces - 2 Minifigs, 1 Sinoceratops, 1 Small Building, 1 Gyrosphere, 1 Quad

76942 - Spinosaurus Face-Off - $69.99 - 308 pieces - 4 Minifigs, 1 Spinosaurus, 1 Boat (with cage), 1 Large Crane

I'm still really not sure about 76940. I think it is $30, but what dinosaur would it contain? Velociraptor is a little unlikely, because they did one last year. What do you think?

I think a velociraptor is still likely, we have gotten one in every wave since Jurassic World

Not in 2019, though (at least not as adults). I would love to see a JP 3 colored Male Velociraptor with quills on its head. If this line is for JP 3...

76939 - Compy Assault - $19.99 - 129 pieces - 2 Minifigs, 3 Compys, 1 Wrecked Tanker Truck, 1 Compy Launcher, 2 Opening Bushes

76940 - Pteranodon Attack - $29.99 - 198 pieces - 2 Minifigs, 1 Pteranodon, 1 Baby Pteranodon, 1 Parasail, 1 Collapsing Catawalk, 1 Platform, 1 Nest

76941 - Velociraptor Lab Ambush - $39.99 - 240 pieces - 3 Minifigs, 2 Velociraptors, 1 Old Laboratory, 1 New Molded Dino Fetus, 2 Exploding Stasis Tubes

76942 - 76942 - Spinosaurus Face-Off - $69.99 - 308 pieces - 4 Minifigs, 1 Spinosaurus, 1 Boat (with cage), 1 Large Crane

Take in mind 76939 is a 4+ set. Don't expect anything particularly interesting to come from that.

Possible but I still doubt it. But we're getting ahead of ourselves here.

1. Good point. The biggest dinosaur I'm expecting for that is Velociraptor. Although, after last year, they might do something different.

2. It really is a little early for speculation. I'm just hoping we get some new dinosaurs this year, like a Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Sinoceratops, Allosaurus, Spinosaurus, or Pachycephalosaurus.

January is nearly over and spring is only about two months away. And Toy Fair is cancelled this yea due to COVID-19 pandemic (seriously, pandemic life really sucks and no doubt, everyone agree on it).

But there is one way or another, leaks/glimpses turn will turn up eventually, who knows.

A few miserable juicy details would do 🥺

God me too! I am extremely happy with the way they gave more protagonism to herbivores in CC S2 (it was about time) so maybe that will reflect in any shape or form in the way Lego produces new sets

I’m with you! I think last winter, there were leaks about the 2020 wave, such as a pic of baby Triceratops,e tc.

I'm still a little surprised we haven't seen any leaks yet. I mean, the toy fairs are closed, but that doesn't mean Lego can't release any information digitally, right? So the sets are probably something for a movie or TV show. Maybe it is for CC S2? JP3? Maybe even for that short Lego film they released last fall? I guess we'll find out soon.

The baby Triceratops didn't leak untill mid-February for a wave of sets released in June, this years sets are estimated to release in August. Just be patient.

You really think all that juicy Toy Fair information comes from LEGO themselves? LEGO barely reveals anything at Toy Fair, all that info comes from brave folks willing to break their NDA's. We're not getting information as often as we used to because this year isn't like what we're used to.

That stinks. If Lego would release a little information (I'll take anything) then we would be more excited and willing to buy the sets. I'm hoping we'll see something at least mid-February this year, too.

I wouldn't count on it. And LEGO knows it's costumers, wether or not they release something won't have an impact on sales at all.

All I know is they've got me hooked if they make a new large herbivore this year:laugh:. I'd settle for either a Sinoceratops or Parasaur, but I'd love to see a Stego either this or next year.

I guess you're right. This line probably won't have very fair prices or very good dinos. Not a big surprise, but oh well; it's Lego.

I’m just glad we’re getting sets at all this year  If it weren’t for the second wave, we’d be empty-handed. So even if the sets aren’t fantastic, at least it’s something  Maybe this has been a contingency plan from the beginning, considering they started designing all of these sets while the pandemic was already in full swing.
