If you want to start an argument with someone on a certain topic you have to be prepared to see it through to the end, not just completely change your position in the matter after getting a counter argument. I do agree also let’s all lighten up and move onto something else like who got any of the Dino sets in 2012

I hope we see a Sinoceratops this year in 76941, kinda like 5885: 76941 - Gyrosphere Valley - $49.99 - 240 pieces - 2 Minifigs, 1 SInoceratops, 1 Small Building, 1 Gyrosphere, 1 Quad The PP would be a little low, but that's because we would get a new dinosaur. Is that very likely?

Nah to Star Wars. :) I’m quite excited to see some small details about Jurassic World sets.
lego_guyon02 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Never say never but I wouldn't expect anything soon considering these sets will release in August.
LegoCyt Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Just a thought but don’t you guys think it’s a bit weird for the sets to release in August whilst 2022 wave will probably release a few months after, probably April, counting JWD’s date release is June?

That's not weird at all since these four sets were always scheduled for an August release. The fact the April wave got pushed back a year doesn't affect that And there's no reason to release them earlier than originally intended

These sets were always planned for August so it's really not that weird. And if the JWD sets release as planned in April 2022 that's still a solid 8 months between waves. Just to be sure - do you mean August 1st for America only (happens sometimes) or August 1st for all countries?

That’s what i think so too. Last year’s sets were released in Mid-July as I recall meaning Europe got sets in June. So I don’t know about his year tho. 10 minutes ago, Guyon2002 said: Should be a global release but don't quote me on that. Are you very sure about global release?

No. LEGO is already having trouble with keeping sets in stock as is, they won't go through the unnecessary trouble that would come with moving the wave up a few months. 2 minutes ago, DBlegonerd7 said: Are you very sure about global release? By all means be skeptical, I'm not 100% sure either. But I do know that moving up the releasedate would be a logistical nightmare and that's something LEGO really doesn't need on top of all the other problems Covid has given them.

BrickBob Studpants Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Moreover, what would be in it for TLG? Would the sets magically sell more if they were released 2 months earlier than planned? A huge hassle for production and not a single advantage for them, does sound like a good deal

And considering LEGO already has covid-related shortages it would only cause more problems.
sebastian666 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 I’m just going to toss in my two cents on the Spinosaurus debate. For all the reasons that @Guyon2002 mentioned, I agree that there is no chance that the Spino from JPIII will be returning. However, I don’t think that means we won’t get a Spino in JW Dominion... It is one of the most popular and elusive dinosaurs in paleontology and, in just the last few years, scientists have completely revised their theories on the physicality and the behavior of the Spino. Wouldn’t it be smart for the JW Dominion producers to build off that Spino momentum (all the recent TV specials, Nat Geo articles, etc) and give us the most badass representation of this leviathan ever seen? They could make it a BioSyn creation and have it feature all the new anatomically correct features that we now know the Spinosaurus to have (e.g. the massive tadpole tail). @Guyon2002 has your friend Lucca done a mock-up of a scientifically accurate LEGO Spinosaurus? I would pay money just to see his design of that. Spino is hands down my favorite dino of all time.
