They should take the 2018 pattern, make the entire animal a bit darker and add some scars and then it would be perfect. Same here
Lion King Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 I just think Styracosaurus is more cool to have as a lego figure. Of course, there is no physical appearance of Styraosaurus in Jurassic World. But I think it was mentioned once, according to Dinosaur. Protection Group. So - I don’t see anything about Styraco making appearance in lego form.

pancakecrocodile Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 What is the likeliness of a Mosasaurus happening; not just this year, but at all?
vstat05 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Next year would be the best bet. I’ve said before that it’d be sorely missed if they didn’t make one of the most notable new creatures of the JW trilogy during its run.

It would be a big shame if they do not produce Mosaurus for sure.

So it’s hard to say that Lego would squeeze out last new dinos. But it’s too early to predict since it’s not 2022 or 2023, ya know?

A new Lego short film in 2023 could give us some dinosaurs we don't get in these two years (Sinoceratops, Spinosaurus, Brachiosaurus). Also, there are still 6 (I think) unreleased sets for Dominion, so we still have yet to see... Edited February 3, 2021 by pancakecrocodile

I thought you were referring it to the BaBR-sequel short film. Oops. :P yes I believe that we have about 6 or so unrevealed sets for 2022. Gosh, I hate waiting for another year... but it will be worthy to wait, tho.
Balrogofmorgoth Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Are we really talking about 2022 and 2023 sets right now? Seems off topic and counterproductive to me

Getting off topic and wishlisting are against the rules. The last few pages have been PACKED with wishlisting and it’s annoying when we come here thinking there’s news and it’s just more wishlists and extremely unrealistic expectations. I’m not a mod so I’m not going to tell you what to do, but it would be very helpful to me and other users if you continued these wishlists and theories in a private message or something rather than filling up the thread with it.

pancakecrocodile Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Wow. This is REALLY strict for a Lego forum. Then what are these forums for? Are they just for reporting leaks? Then why are we discussing this at all? You all get off topic when you discuss things like if the spinosaurus on Sorna was dead or who bought the 2012 dino sets. You have absolutely nothing to say to me, DBlegonerd7, or anyone else who posts wishlists or ideas. I do not want to engage in a full-blown argument, because I know none of you will let it go, so can we please move off of this stupid topic? That is what you guys are telling us to do, anyway.

I won’t say anything else about it. But do yourself a favor and don’t go to the Star Wars or Harry Potter threads. They are much stricter on these things it seems than this particular thread is.

I'm curious to see what the new star wars sets are, though... I guess I'll just peek
Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 so do we have any more info about if Godzilla will also come in a set? Maybe all the T-Rex could team up against her and then as its not enough they could also team up with all the other dinosaurs and in the end also humans to defeat her. 22 minutes ago, Balrogofmorgoth said: I won’t say anything else about it. One time they were asking me to not talk about Stargate there for some reason.

It is also the most unlikely thing in the universe, getting one in a JW set, but if we could get a giant buildable Godzilla in an Ideas set, that would be sick! Yeah, I don't know why Eurobricks is SUPER strict! Hello? We're discussing toys meant for children! Too bad; Stargate would be a great series to have!

Koolkoalas Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 I think that the indominus Rex killed everything out of mercy because she was brought into the world with it and so she loved it and she probably saw lots of other dinos that looked like her that were deformed and would eventually die and she saw them doing tests on them sticking them with needles, force feeding them, doing experiments on them and one day the humans decided that they would use her sibling for the test and after the first day of her best friend the only one she had ever loved she could see that she had been batted and sad and angry. She could see the pain her sibling had gone through and so she ate her to put her out of her misery. Sharks and other animals display this behaviour in the wild. and the indo raptor imprinted on maisy that’s why he didn’t jump at them straight away and kill them on the roof of the manor. Not only that but maybe he doesn’t attack things that aren’t a threat in the scene where maisy is told she is a clone the indoraptor kills the person with the gun and not everyone or he has a sadistic sense of humour

This specific thread used to go dead for months... A lot of people come here to read up on released information and proper speculation. They don't come here to catch up on a dozen pages of wishlisting, which is pretty much all that's being posted here as of late. It's a waste of time, clutters up the thread and (most importantly) goes against the forum rules. The problem with wishlisting is that there's a lot of it and it can very quickly cause misinformation amongst the less-knowledgeable members of the forum and be passed off as confirmed info to others (yes this has happened before, many times). I don't like namecalling but the consistent use of made-up prices by a member is a good example of this. Yes, this is a forum for discussing toys. Yes, it's fun to let your imagination run wild. And yes, every user sometimes goes off-topic for a bit. But one has to realise that this is a big forum and that it has rules that need to be followed to ensure a streamlined and enjoyable experience for everyone. But to echo what @Balrogofmorgoth said: we're not mods so we can't tell you what to do, we can only voice our concerns.

But I find just plain ridiculous to creat lists of sets every two comments or say how much why need X dinosaur more than one time, I feel honestly stupid when I read the same comment over and over again from the same person, no offense, even if I love when this thread is active.
