I feel like wish listing is fine if you keep it to ur self and not sharing with others where as speculating with reason should be fine for example “I think the spinosaurus will appear in a £60 with the crane and boat and the reason I think this is it would be cool” that’s wish listing whereas “I think the spino will appear because it’s the 20th anniversary of jp3” that’s speculation which should be fine right?

Yeah that's pretty much the difference between speculation and wishlisting. Speculation is when you make an educated guess using proper information while wishlisting is making a guess based on your personal feelings or very limited info you can't really do much with. As the only info that's publicly available for Jurassic 2021 are the setnumbers and piececounts pretty much everything related to talking about it is wishlisting. In a situation like this it's completely fine to put your thoughts out there once or twice but not time and time again.

So I am going to speculate here as we may not get the spino this year but next year as there were supposed to be 2 waves this year and 12 sets (I think) and so I think the sets were supposed to be an exclusive dino (like the trex) a couple of DUPLO (2) a polly bag or 2 an anniversary set and the rest on the movie I am taking this speculation based on the 2018 sets

I agree with @Guyon2002 and @Balrogofmorgoth. This forum has devolved into an echo chamber of one or two members’ endless wishlists - none of which are based in facts or reality.

It’s selfish and frankly inconsiderate to the rest of us who come here to discuss leaks or to speculate based on legit information.

I get it - we all love Jurassic Park and we all love LEGO - but there are rules to help these forums run smoothly. Please respect them.

Could someone please remind me of what facts we actually do know about the upcoming LEGO Jurassic sets? I’ve totally lost that info amidst all the other jibber jabber.

How many sets are we expecting this year (vs next year - I seem to remember a delay of one wave)? Do we know when they will be released, piece counts, etc.? I think I even saw a set name somewhere... TRex and Triceratops Escape?

Thanks!

  • There were originally 12 sets, split into two waves. The JWD wave was postponed, presumably exactly a year (i.e. April 2022).
  • The second wave still gets released in August, with 4 sets
  • Can‘t recall the prices and piece counts, but the largest one has quite a small parts count, suggesting the presence of at least one larger dino
  • The set you‘ve mentioned is one of the two JW Duplo sets

I believe we have the piece count and set numbers but no images or prices

We're getting 4 sets this year, only the setnumbers and piececounts have are public at the moment:

- 76939 with 129 pieces (4+)
- 76940 with 198 pieces
- 76941 with 240 pieces
- 76942 with 308 pieces
- 2 Duplo sets, one of which is that T-Rex and Triceratops Escape one
- Rest is delayed to 2022

These sets will (most likely, 90% sure) release in August. And that's really all we know, which shows why all of these wishlists are pretty useless.

That information is not public yet. Although the largest set (76942) could have 2 based on it's price.

Can someone define 4+ set? I quite don’t understand what is “4+“.

It use to be Juniors, it’s the same thing, just a subtheme with a simpler build dedicated to younger builders

True but no visible price tho.

So when you say 2 Duplo sets, are these part of the 4 set numbers above or do they have their own set numbers?

No one has said that.

Doesn't mean nobody knows them.

I am still not quoting you on this even tho you are 90% sure. But with reasons Eurobricks members provided here, all of them make sense to me, such as covid-19 pandemic and stocking issue, etc etc...

Ok, I can’t remember who said that in this threat but i may be wrong. Thanks anyways.

How do I find one

Short answer: you don't. Sources aren't something you can just put on your grocery list or find with a step-by-step tutorial.
