Honestly, the biggest dinosaur I'm expecting this year is a re-colored Carnotaurus or T-Rex. We're probably only gonna get 2 new dinosaurs (one in 76941, and the other with an existing dinosaur in 76942) but they will not be the best things Lego makes. Trust me. Let’s face it, we’re most likely not going to get a single new dinosaur this year Bummer, but at least there‘s the JWD wave next year to look forward to. And I‘m glad we‘re getting anything at all, they easily could have postponed everything they had initially planned for this year Edited April 15, 2021 by Lego-Freak

Thanks for confirming, I kind off assumed there would be no new dinosaurs, but now that you have confirmed it I guess the big set will be another t rex?

A T-rex and something else... Carno? Bary? Very low PP ratio, so something relatively big. Trike?

BrickBob Studpants Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 A raptor is almost 100% guaranteed, they really like to insert them whenever they can. The same goes for their baby counterparts of course. Hoping for a dark red one A T-Rex is also fairly likely, preferably also with a recolour. The rest are all wildcards
AxolotlPlays Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I would like some more Gallimimus, guyon are you allowed to say if I will like this year or not? Lol it's fine if you can't no worries.

They only say what species will be the main attraction for the sets and what kind of builds will be included, even finding out the sourcematerial is pure speculation (though if my assumptions are correct these sets could be very exciting).

AxolotlPlays Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 (edited) Guyon2002, this is a video of the Australian exclusive Lego Jurassic World exhibition by Brickman, there is a build of Isla Nublar that has scenes built on them. One of those scenes is the opening scene from The Lost World Jurassic Park, there are recoloured baby dinos to look like Compsognathus, do you think these will be in a new set? (He also mentioned there was an E750 reference on the island, but we will have to wait for his new video) Perhaps not the main dinosaur of the set like the 'T rex vs Dinomech' set from 2019? (Which would explain why you didn't see it in the title?) Edited April 17, 2021 by AxolotlPlays

Those are from the Sesame Street set: They could theoretically be included (with some printing ofc) in these sets but that would be pure speculation considering only the main dinosaurs of the sets are known. Either way I highly doubt these specific pieces would be used as baby Velociraptors and Compsognathus' don't look even remotely similar, reusing this mold would be unacceptable imo.
Lion King Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 (edited) @Guyon2002 I’m jus curious - you mentioned there won’t be any new dinosaurs this year. “No new dinosaurs” as in no new s pieces. However, you don’t say anything about existing dinosaurs getting new molds. For example, Indromimus Rex did receive new arm molds last year. However, I don’t think if some of existing dinosaurs would be likely to get new molds mostly. Surely, we are expecting to see existing dinosaurs to come in new colors but would it be likely for them to get few new molds (legs, arms, body)? If you can’t answer this question, I totally understand and respect it. Edited April 17, 2021 by DBlegonerd7

All the dinosaurs that function as the sets' main selling points will be species we have gotten before but that doesn't mean they will be exact copies of past dinosaurs, so yes we can expect some recolors. Getting some updates to past molded parts for said species is possible but I'm not expecting any.
