Excited because I love comic sets a little bored because I’m not sure I can expect any new characters or moulds.

This is my issue. After the last few years of lacklustre comic wave sets I decided to limit myself to one minifigure per character when it comics to none MCU Sets. LEGO has already released perfect versions of a lot of Spidey characters.

I'm not going to get my hopes up but I wonder if this is where they'll finally put webbing on Spidey's boots?

Excited to see what figures this set holds.

I've recently bought Avengers Tower and got the Sanctum for Christmas so this will go nicely alongside those I'm sure.

Doesn’t sound particularly interesting to me personally, but I’ll reserve judgement until we see final pictures. It’ll probably be something I pass on, but kudos to the comic fans who have been craving a D2C.

for the Wanda vision cmf debacle I completely agree that an actual set where one is guaranteed to get a figure they want is better than a blind draw. Because if it was a blind draw, something crazy like putting normal and sword vision where only their printing differed could happen.

That moment when you realise there was a function to push a figure off the top of the bridge...

Just like the sanctum set, it’s to swing Spider-Man by attaching him to a string.

I mean if the D2C is Asgard that would cover the missing Thor characters. The legacy wave seems to be broad enough to cover some of the most popular missing suits. The rest is just alternate versions of pre-existing characters and civilian costumes. Thats so boring.

I am once again asking MCU fans to tell me who’s missing? Not trying to be antagonistic but seriously please list the missing MCU designs because, and this is especially true now with the legacy wave, i cannot think of who’s missing.

I’m getting pretty annoyed by what you’re saying. I understand that you greatly prefer comic sets but just saying that there are no more MCU things to do just shows that you don’t seem to respect other people’s opinions on this forum. We have talked about sword vision and Agatha. As well as missing characters like Odin, STRIKE Rumlow, Ronin, accurately bald thanks, endgame costumes of everyone because Leo decided to make them all wear identical quantum realm suits, as well as all the characters that Lego didn’t do sets for, like Phase 1 MCU.

guys daily bugle d2c I hope I’m the first to reply about this.

Edit: Nope apparently people just refresh their pages instead of doing geometry homework for high school okay then. *Sigh I’m going to eventually be the first one to reply about a new release.

Except thats not at all what I said. You’re misinterpreting my statement. I am not saying there is nothing left, that was a request to be REMINDED of what was left. If I’m having a hard time making a compelling series using MCU designs I’m asking for help. For a few things, I’m trying to see how many MCU series we need u til we cover the missing cast, and I’m trying to see what the designs of the missing characters looks like. I literally said I wasn’t being antagonistic but I was failing to remember the names. I’m not going to apologize you either take my comments as they are or stay mad over your misunderstanding.

I think this will turn out to be a really nice looking set, but it's comics so I'll skip. I'm pretty happy I'm not gonna get it cos that's $300 saved essentially:laugh_hard:

Speaking of the cmf, do we think it will be MCU due to this news? BTW, there are a couple characters I forgot who I will list now:

Peggy Carter

The other Howling Commandos

Darcy Lewis

A more widely available Maria Rambeau

MCU Coulson

Young Coulson

The scientist from Hulk

A more widely available Wong

A more widely available White Wolf

Morgan Stark

Stan Lee

A more accurate Sharon Carter

Iron Man with a donut

oh, and Sonny Burch

Don't want to comment on the CMF because I know that darn Falconfan will send us into another frenzy, but... DC gave us first appearance Batman and Wonder Woman. If the CMF is not comic based, maybe we could see a first appearance Spider Man in this set

It says its comic Based so looks like Lego listened to you cosmic so could you now comic fans can be partially satisfied and Lego marvel fans can come together in harmony.

Indeed.

I personally, would not buy a Daily Bugle set, so in a selfish way, I hope it's not the Daily Bugle. Also, what "various things"?

I stand corrected

But why would he need to jump off the top if not to catch someone falling? *huh*

Wonder the odds of another building being included. The Assembly Square sold for $270 and had 3 buildings. Maybe this could also be a generally nice NYC facade.

edit: really don’t want them to use the Gamora/Widow/Supergirl/Black Canary/Storm/Jessica Cruz/everybody else hair piece at all in this set. Not on Gwen, not on Mary (actually would love a red print to a hair mould that has yet to be made in red, I want new red hairpieces), not on Black Cat or anybody else. Please. Maybe on a journalist figure if we’re going to get some. Actually on that note hoping for a few civilian figures. I could easily see this breaking the mould of Marvel D2C’s with a handful of minifigures.

I could also see an apartment for Peter Parker, that could be very neat. I’m not sure what else could be there, though, but maybe those two could be enough to fill the set. I feel like anything else would just be generic buildings that would be OK, but I would prefer more Marvel specific things.

See... So many of these are just unimportant side characters, maybe it's just me, but is anyone desperate to get a Darcy minifigure? Or Gabe Jones? Even young Coulson, he was pretty minor in Captain Marvel, not worth another set because we missed out on him

Marvel will definitely get 2 or more series, hopefully down the line we’ve covered enough MCU to branch out. I guess thats the peace I have is knowing this theme will get a cmf series 2 but would this series be enough to cover the missing ground for the MCU?

I can make a full list of interesting characters we didn't get from the MCU that will warrant us full 2 CMF wave. That's how good MCU is and that how bad TLG represent them before.
