Aside from the Endgame battle and the one with Chris Pratt, they seem like a lacklustre selection. A 4+ set, a set based on the really boring fight between giant robots from the first film? What's the attraction with those sets?

I'm sorry but we don't need negative vibes in here, atleast you said it yourself in your opinion there is something that you like or in a way good in your opinion. Most of us waited for this sets to be released, we thought it's never coming but here we are, it's a celebration for almost everyone, if you are not a fan then we respect it, but just don't start negativity in this thread.
SoggyBottom17 Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 So apparently 76197, 16198 and 76188 haven’t been revealed, there could be some 762... additional sets. Where do you think Korg could be?

I didn't realise that you weren't allowed to comment on sets unless you were head-over-heels in love with all of them. I'm not coming here to spread "negative vibes" - I'm here to express my opinion on the sets that have been recently announced, just like everyone else is.
SpiderJazz Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Aside from Korg, the other core members of avengers is still missing, Black Widow (not part of Final battle understandable) Ronin should be and Hulk with his correct suit. And Iron Patriot 2.0 maybe? Those are the characters I think we are missing that is needed from Endgame wave because of their costumes/suit

Also from a discord server I am in, someone got a notification about the Carnage helmet from Target - preorders for it will start 8pm CST on the 11th (tomorrow).

The appeal of the Iron Monger set on the other hand is rather straightforward: it‘s the very first set based on Iron Man And how can you say no to a minifig based on Jeff Bridges?
Walter529a Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Wait… Bald Thanos in the Endgame Final Battle Set.. So is it the Bald Armor-Less Thanos from Infinity War or Helmet-Less Bald Thanos from Endgame??? Really hope its from Infinity War, I really don't want an Endgame Armored Thanos without helmet…

Aye, I'm glad the sets are going down well as a whole, because that means people are getting what they want! Anyway, when the actual pictures come out my opinion might change - who knows?

Gahd I hope for a new face printing, in the scene he wears a black suit but I prefer the grey business attire. Guess time will tell.
Seasider Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Sorry for asking but will the Carnage Helmet be a US exclusive? Or will it appear in the U.K.?

Personally, I didn't enjoy either the climactic battle or the villain in Iron Man (as for Jeff Bridges, I had to look him up). Mind you, I found the Marvel films as a whole to be lacklustre until about halfway through, so I'm probably not the main target for these sets!

In that scene he takes off his helmet and put it on top of his dual blade, I won't be surprised if that will be the case.
PavillionDweller Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Hi, long time lurker, first time poster, fully expect to get washed away in all this excitement. Looking forward to the Iron Monger set, will be interesting to see between that and the final battle set what the plan for Iron Man's helmet is going forward, if the single piece is the new standard or if it's a case by case basis. I figure a good indication for the scope of the final battle set would probably be the Civil War airport set, 76051. Downsize the quinjet to a van, throw in a Thanos and I think it's a good estimation of stuff. It all comes down to the minifigs so tempering my expectations until we get pictures; I'm after all in that part of Europe that's likely to pay €90 and then some on top of that for it. Cautiously optimistic for the Benetar as well, the IW wave one is kind of impressive in its own right so will be interesting to see the scope of it. And I don't really care either way about if it's comics, MCU or animation (a great set is a great set, Bridge Battle is one of the best Marvel sets imo) so definitely ready to hear more about the Bugle; could, in my mind, easily be something akin to the modular Police Station just released where you get the Bugle and something like Peter's apartment with a pizza place on the ground level as a sort of mix between source materials.

A nearly-2000 pieces Guardians of The Galaxy ship? A $10 Captain America with possibly WW2 setting? How is that even slightly lackluster? I suppose you're not a Marvel fan, aren't you?
lego_guyon02 Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Now that I've calmed down a bit from the initial excitement I'll just write down my thoughts on each of these sets. Venom / Carnage / Infinity Gauntlet - these sets sound great but I'm only into minifigure- and systemscale sets so these are very easy passes for me. Dragon Flyer - sounds like a great little set! The Chitauri reuse is a bit underwhelming but I'm honestly considering getting 2 copies of this one. Cap 4+ - very excited about the description and I would definitely like to get 4-5 of the Hydra soldiers. But wether or not this set is any good completely depends on the execution of the figures and what they're based on. Iron Monger - slightly disappointed they didn't include Coulson as a 4th figure but other than that this is an amazing set!Final Battle - speechless, this set is just amazing! And finally an IW/EG Wanda figure!!!!!Benatar - sounds fantastic, only thing I'm disappointed by is the exclusion of Drax.Sanctuary II - at $30 this can't be any good but I'm excited to see the figures. Advent Calendar - sounds fantastic! Overall this sounds like an incredible wave, definitely planning to pick up most (if not all) of these on day 1!
Seasider Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 curious as to how detailed / UCS the Benatar is especially at that price point with that many figures.
josh_a_123 Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Star-Lord in the Benetar surely has to include Pratt's face print

Anyway, of the four sets you went through I already said I love two of them and I've already explained my issue with another. As for the Captain America set, if it was WWII based that would definitely change my view - but I find it hard to get excited about 4+ sets in general. But anyway, nobody who voiced their dislike for the new Harry Potter sets is accused of not being a Harry Potter fan. Same for Star Wars. Is it really unfathomable that somebody could like the media franchise but not absolutely adore every single set announced for the Lego theme?
