Wow, what a great wave for us MCU fans. Looks like LEGO finally listened to us!

All sets sound awesome, here’s some of my takeaways:

- No Endgame Hawkeye or Black Widow in any sets. Probably mean we can see them in cmf. Or less likely Vormir scene( kinda dark for a set)

- Chitauri in Benetar is probably mistak, as it looks similar to Drax.

- Not sure what promobricks mean by Thanos with rotatable head. Don’t really see why Bigfig would need rotatable heads. Might be so typo on their part.

- Also a bit strange to see Black Panther in 2 Endgame sets. Might mean 2 versions, charged and normal costume.

But overall sound great! This might be a year that LEGO Marvel finally becomes great!

The MCU Legacy/Endgame sets sound excellent! I hope that the actual builds are as good as the Minifigs seem to be. 👍

The Shang-Chi polybag just leaked on Instagram, and it is disappointing: Reuse of Shang-Chi, with a scaled-down version of the dragon (no additional Minifigs, character-variants, rings, or particularly special pieces). On a positive note, it looks like Wenwu is holding a ring in the chase set, so we may still end up getting the other five rings.

Just an aside: The polybag was photographed alongside the other two Shang-Chi sets, all of which are stacked neatly in the image - Therefore, WHY is the photo-quality so terrible?? The person clearly has the sets, so they could take good pictures instead of one that looks like it was taken with a flip-phone in 2007!

Personally I think the idea of Drax being in the Benatar is wishful thinking, each set seems to come with a single Chitauri to tie all the Endgame sets together, just like the Outriders in the Infinity War sets. This way I guess they're making all the Endgame sets part of the same conflict, and if Drax was included there would be no conflict in the Benatar set at all which is something which is rare in Superhero sets.

That being said it does seem odd how with the Endgame theme to the wave the Iron Man, Captain America and Spiderman sets really seem to stick out! But Thor being included in two sets does make up for that (especially with the viking beard!)

Read this article on bgr.com about the leak of the first X-Men project for the MCU. According to the illuminerdi and a separate source coming from Charles Murphy, a website and a leaker both claimed to be reputable by bgr, again feel free to fact check all of this if the sources aren’t satisfying but according to these 3 sources the name of the first X project has leaked as “the Mutants”. I believe the Fantastic Four are being introduced in 2024 and I’m expecting the first mutant film no sooner than 2025. Nonetheless this time frame is very soon and I wonder if their introduction to the MCU means we can start seeing Lego merchandise for them. It hasn’t happened yet and we will definitely get sets from the movies but I’m excited for new X-Men content.

the only properties to receive both MCU and comic sets have been the Avengers and Spiderman. I hope we can one day get a comic wave for both Thor and the Guardians as well as other Avengers. I have hope the CMF series will be a mixed bag and I pray we get a few mutant gems in there.

I have ‘chinese’ bigfigs (kingpin, blob among others) and rotatable heads are a welcome addition for posing. I also get why they use a removable head, you can now use your body mould for more bigfigs. Just like what chinese companies do. And in that case, we maybe can look forward to cool new bigfigs

Don't think I've seen anyone bringing this up but I really hope Quills helmet makes it's triumphant return after being weirdly left out of the last Benatar.

I had totally forgotten that bro and viking thor had 2 separate hairstyles! If that's the case then I think we won't see any belly piece, and Dumbledore's beard reused for Viking thor.

Worst case scenarios:

1. we get both variants but they share the hair

2. viking thor is in both sets

I’m so happy about all of these awesome sets. I’m purchasing two of each MCU related things. Thank you Lego. Sets have a two to three year developmental cycle so LEGO was listening to us two years ago when we were talking about this. So when into the spider verse came out, Lego started developing the Spider-Man lair and miles morales and Gwen Stacy and all the other spider people. And then they listened to the Endgame complaints and critiques and gave us Luis‘s van and bald thanks. I’m so so happy.

The upcoming Benatar having 3x as many pieces as the previous could mean that there is a small ship for the Chitauri.

A removable head could also mean bigfig bodywear, instead of having it molded into the torso, thereby making the torso piece usable across multiple characters.

I cannot imagine this, have we gotten some sort of this type before in other themes?

Here’s something that might help those of you interested in the Thanos:

Its a knockoff minifig site I sometimes visit, it should show you custom Thanos.

Pink just indicates self-designation as a dignified Lady of Eurobricks.

Of course no one has higher authority than me! Continue to believe that until one of higher authority than me comes over here and says otherwise.

Funny thing is I have this in my collection. I'm thinking about different styled-minifigure head-to bigfigure body. Lmao.

Doesn't the info mention a stand like the batwing? the extra pieces could be for that and the stand all the figures stand on

because why does her gender require a different color? lol that was my point. She is the only person I've ever seen with a pink username so I wanted clarity, I was wondering if it meant she was a mod or something (of which Captain Nemo answered me already)

I found a slightly better picture of the sets: Shang-Chi definitely reuses the Draco/Kaz head, and his legs are unprinted, so the torso is the only new element in the Minifig. 😐
In the Minifig lineup for the chase set, it looks like the henchman (Razor Fist?) has a standard right hand, so the weapon-arm may just be handheld, rather than moulded.
