doclord Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Nebula, War Machine, Ronin and Black Widow are definitely being saved for a set as they are all missing right now and were all together for the Quantum mission.

I sure hope so. That would be the most viable way to get Endgame Black Widow and War Machine Mark 6, as they wouldn't fit in a final battle set. I'm not sure what set they would all fit in though, as the Benatar does not have a Time-Heist based minifigure lineup. Maybe a section of the Avengers Compound with the Quantum Tunnel platform?

Rocket would just be a repeat from the Benatar if he were included, and as much as I'd like a casual Professor Hulk, I highly doubt a bigfig would be included. I also wonder how accurately they'll make the minifigures for that specific scene. Would Bro Thor be shirtless like he was in the New Asgard scene, or would they go with the casual clothes he wore for the time heist, which is more prominent and useful for recreating other scenes? Would Korg have the Hawaiian shirt that he had in this scene, or would they include his regular look, which he had in every other scene he's had? Would Miek include his exosuit, or would it be left out due to him not wearing it in that scene? So many questions... Maybe Valkyrie in quayside civvies is an option?

The Stud Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Imagine if we got a set with Giant Man, the Leviathan, and Valkyrie’s pegasus with some of those last missing Endgame figures that @doclord mentioned. Probably not very likely I know, maybe if it were two separate sets. If the CMF is indeed solely based off the MCU, maybe we can hope that those figures will be thrown in there.

Eh, I don’t know. I mean, CMF has dropped to 12 minifigures per series this year. It may be difficult to squeeze fan-favorite MCU character into Marvel CMF Series. Unless, Lego probably decide to have 16 or more minifigures for Marvel. Personally, I prefer comic-inspired minifigures (like DC Somcis Series from ast year) instead of MCU ones.

I mean an MCU series would do well next to all these new MCU sets coming out around the same time. They can include the Endgame versions of Ronin Hawkeye and Black Widow and then do versions of the other four core Avengers based off the other films. Throw in Spider-Man’s Homemade Suit and fill the rest of the series with the prominent characters/variants we’re still missing and we’re good to go. (I.e. some of the missing Endgame figures from the Final Battle along with some missing characters from the other movies like Ego or a more accurate Loki). I’m really hoping Lego gives Marvel a bigger series than some of the last few CMFs, so a bigger series improves the chances of getting some of these figures.
Scarilian Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I would not be surprised if we get a new Avengers Compound set later this year or early next year, it does not really make sense that we'd get a version of the New Asgard represented for a joke scene and fail to get Avengers Compound. Would also make sense with 76192 featuring a bit of Avengers Compound that we'd get a larger set with the rest of the Compound that would serve as a partner set. When we eventually see images of the set, it'd be worth checking if we have any hints towards it being a segment that would connect with another build. Could be a way for us to get a more accurate Endgame Hulk and War Machine. Plus if the CMF series is MCU based, then giving us somewhere to display them would be a wise idea.

Heck even Korg and Miek is coming. 4 hours ago, spiderfan2000 said: At that price point, I can't picture the set including more minifigures than Bro Thor, Korg and Miek. I'm not sure but Fulcrum included a picture of Lebowski Thor for a reason, he could have pick the shirtless picture with Viking Thor if that's the other figure included. So I'm leaning towards them being normal designed figures not specific for that scene.

But that's not going to be a problem because so far the CMF is just MCU stuff. The "Hulkbuster" scale stuff is just getting way too big. Iron Monger does not need 400 pieces. A side build of an arc reactor would've been really cool. For the Shang Chi stuff. I'm disappointed about that lack of leg printing. I'm fine if they re-use the faces, as long as they are semi-accurate and not the atrocity Lego Happy Hogan was. I'm fine with there only being 5 rings, the series doesn't need to have a collectible collect them-all thing with expensive pieces. Happy about the Infinity Saga stuff in general. Now it's time to sell sets so I can buy everything. I'm especially happy because I don't have a good War Machine, Scarlet Witch, or Hawkeye Minifigure yet.

Same here, such a great looking armor. Hopefully we get it in wave 2 or something soon. But if not there is always the possibility of it showing up in the War Machine show and us getting a set from that. I wonder if Lego would add an armor piece to the figure if/when we get it, or if they would just print it.

There's a bunch of custom Iron Patriot in the market but I pass on all of it custom they are not looking like lego anymore. Him being in CMF rather than a set is what I'm praying for. Unique molds, intricate printing.

There are so many sets to look forward to this year that I have removed all of the non-superhero sets from my budget for the rest of the year. Do we know if there is going to be a limited gwp this year? Also, anything on what would have been SDCC exclusives this year, or still too early to know?

As far as I recall, none of the SDCC sets (or other convention exclusives for that matter) have ever leaked beforehand. Each time, we only learned about them the day they were revealed, which was usually shortly before the convention itself. Besides, we don’t know if there’s even going to be exclusives this year to begin with. Sure, there were the usual exclusives last year, but they were already in (pre-) production when Covid hit the scene, which is why they had to sell them on s@h instead. I doubt they’re doing that again this year

Topless will be funny enough for kids though, either way I'll be glad to get it and it means I'm gonna pass on Benatar.

I think the topless would be funny too, but in the end I'm mainly focused on the head, beard and hairpiece. Hopefully at least the beard and hairpiece will be different from the Endgame Final Battle set. Regards, Mitch
