That said, maybe I missed something. Kindly read his newest IG post, Falcon never posted something that he isn't sure of, while I think the info came from Fulcrum this is their collaborative work.
Portal Out Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 I know I'm a little late to the party here, but that Shuri figure rules. That face print might be the single most impressive one I've seen in Lego. I didn't even know that the chinstrap could be printed so low! I've got high hopes for the rest of the wave and especially the CMF after today's leaks.

While that is true, giving this rumor massive amounts of validity, I feel the need to point out that that very post, unlike his other marvel posts, says “strong marvel rumor” on the top of it. Like I said, it’s likely at this point because of all of the leakers that have validated it, but since it says “rumor”, it’s clearly not 100%. Edited March 25, 2021 by NetherCreeper

Even the guy that showed me Shuri before it was out publicly said they are indeed in D2C/Daily Bugle. Like I said, Falcon only post it as a rumor because I personally think the information didn't came from him. But if he is the one that did the investigation, he won't do that. It's also a way of giving props to Fulcrum as he is the first one to teased those two characters coming.
spiderfan2000 Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 (edited) Trying to figure out all those hints... The total number of minifigures making up for "a series of missed opportunities" implies a CMF series level number of at least 12 minifigures for the Daily Bugle, most of which should be new characters to make up for the constant repeats of characters in Spider-Man sets that many have complained about. Falconfan's hint of "A series that would help explain another series and why it is what it is" leads me to believe the CMF series is a Disney+ MCU based one. A CMF-level selection of minifigures for the Bugle should satisfy a lot of people who were wanting a comics-based CMF series, and it would fit Falconfan's hint that Iron Man will not be included in the CMF. Plus, didn't someone (CM4Sci?) imply that LEGO would be releasing a Wandavision Scarlet Witch as a minifigure, or am I misremembering? It would make more sense for Wandavision to be represented as part of a CMF than as a set, especially considering we only seem to be getting one Disney+ set this year. Alternatively, it could be a Spider-Man CMF, which would also fit Iron Man not being included, and would go with the Bugle D2C. Edited March 25, 2021 by spiderfan2000
Scarilian Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 (edited) I wonder... a potential Spider-man related series that includes Daredevil, Punisher, Venom and potentially Black Cat? Something Spider-man related that is going to be given more focus via Disney? Something that featured the Daily Bugle prominantly? Maybe a series where Venom fought Spider-man at the Daily Bugle? I wonder what the D2C and CMF series might be based on... Just speculation, but hype if it happens Edited March 25, 2021 by Scarilian

Of course that would make a bigfig Kingpin even more of a needed inclusion.

Indeed, but mostly it could be used to justify why we are getting another Venom - as Animated Series Venom was often depicted with red and blue in his design as opposed to most standard Venom designs that are just black and white (other than the tongue). Would make sense to get a new Venom figure if we are going to get this version of him Edited March 25, 2021 by Scarilian

That series was my first ever exposure to superheroes as a kid, so the D2C being based on that would be heaven
gedren_y Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 (edited) Four hours ago lego_fulcrum posted a close-up of the New York Bulletin box from the Sanctum Sanctorum set, which has Daredevil. The New York Bulletin is the paper in the Netflix Marvel series. If the D2C is going to give us the whole roster of Netflix series characters in their comic form, that'll be a reason for me to save up for it. Of them, only Iron Fist has had a comic accurate fig. Yes, there was a Luke Cage, but he was the version from the Spider-Man Unlimited cartoon. I would really want Luke Cage in the outfit from the cover of Cage #1, (April 1992, I have it in front of me). @Scarilian, if they give us Kingpin from that show, he'd be at most the size of Axl from Nexo Knights. Edited March 25, 2021 by gedren_y
Falconfan1414 Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 The hint I think was more towards his inclusion not about his Netflix version. Also I wouldn’t post something unless I was more then 75% or more sure of it. Could it be wrong? Yes that’s why I put rumor but rn I have reason to believe the “rumors”
NXS7 Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Watching that opening sequence really makes me hyped to see what villains are included. Would love to see Morbius, Shocker or even Hydro Man. Scorpion could be a likely inclusion perhaps, considering his origins. Maybe even Spider Slayer (either as an Alistair Smythe figure, or a robotic side build), as they too have history with Jameson
Brick Cucumber Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 (edited) I could really believce Daredevil in a set but Punisher seems unlikely to me. Maybe a few years ago, but with the recent use of the Punisher logo by some alt-right groups and the controversy around it, I really can't see Lego deciding to use the character in a set Edited March 25, 2021 by Brick Cucumber
SteelRiftGaming Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 any know if the new captain marvel will have dual molded legs with or without printing or dual molded arms ive mocked up a version of her in ldd albeit without printing to what id ideally like her to look like

I wouldn't be suprised if Punisher didn't show up in the final set. I think the way around that would be to obscure the skull, with a trenchcoat printing or something. So it's still there, but not as blatant. Though, in an 18+, Marvel branded set, the connotations would be clear enough that I think they'd take the punt to just make the figure as a one-off.
2lazeetomakeaname Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 I dont think some members of a controversial group wearing a superhero shirt would make LEGO pull a figure out of a set. Then again they just cancelled the crook hideout set for no reason. Oh no
gedren_y Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Or we could all be wrong, and Punisher, Daredevil, and others will be featured on tiles as framed front pages hanging on the walls.
JaHawk2009 Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 So, imagining the Bugle, I'm kinda picturing the size and style of the Ghostbusters Firehouse set. Can't wait to see it properly.

PsychoBuilder Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 BTW, the leak saying that F4 will be in the Bugle is most almost definitely false.

Personally I'd expect her to just get a torso print and maybe a new hair piece. Arm print would make more sense than leg printing, probably printed rather than dual molded. Though admittedly depends 59 minutes ago, Brick Cucumber said: -snip- I'd rather not have a Lego employee checking here and incorrectly think that is what people associate the character with, so maybe we should move on from political aspects Cancel culture is so toxic and destructive I'd rather not have it invade Superheroes. 38 minutes ago, JaHawk2009 said: So, imagining the Bugle, I'm kinda picturing the size and style of the Ghostbusters Firehouse set. The Firehouse was around $50 more expensive, so that's probably a good comparison - though admittedly it depends on how detailed the building is and what design of the Daily Bugle they go for along with figure count.
