Black Cat leaked and honestly a little underwhelmed. She is usually depicted with white tufts of hair on her arms and ankles and it’d have been nice to get that printed on. Also I know I sound like a broken record complaining about this hairpiece but its so overused and we’ve gotten it in white before. It’d have been nice if they gave her the S6 Spacegirl or S10 Trendsetters hair in white as they’ve never gotten that color. I guess the hair isn’t particularly inaccurate and the lack of leg and arm printing is accurate to some depictions, they could have done a little more with the design choice to make the figure pop.

edit also the torso print for this had me doing double takes. I thought it was a costum fake leak because they didn’t even print her flesh tone onto her neck area?! Also don’t think they got the shape of the mask right. Not a fan.

Ooohh, that picture with 'guess what is coming' text is it?
Thought that was just some custom teaser...
Alrighty, then. Torso is nice but it could've used a biiitt more printing perhaps, yeah. Overall, not bad I'd say.

Just to make a point for those speculating about the CMF being only Disney+

The only shows they would be able to do figures for would be WandaVision, FatWS and Loki. Loki premieres on June 11th, meaning it's finale airs on July 16th. So after a one or two week break, What If...? would premiere on either July 30th or August 6th. And with a 10 episode run, it would continue into September, which is when this CMF is supposed to release, and I really don't think it would make sense to release figures from an unfinished series. At least maybe we could see Peggy as Captain Britain, as that is heavily advertised and is probably the first episode, but as of right now, we only know the rough scenarios of about 4 episodes (Peggy as Cap, T'Challa as Star Lord, evil Doctor Strange and zombie Cap)

I'd be happy enough with Wanda, White Vision, Falcon, Zemo, USAgent, Loki and a few other MCU figures

It seems to me that the Marvel CMF will be based on the MCU. It would be cool to see White Vision, Baron Zemo, Kate Bishop and others. But there is a feeling that the Marvel CMF will be based on comics.

If they go the released Disney+ show route:

  1. Scarlet Witch (Crown piece)
  2. White Vision
  3. Agatha (With Darkhold)
  4. Billy
  5. Tommy
  6. Falcon (Could go with one of his new variant outfits with his wings and Red Wing
  7. Bucky (Last time we got his figure was a hard to collect minifigure set)
  8. Zemo (Could include his mask)
  9. US Agent (Could include the Shield)
  10. Loki
  11. Unknown Loki character
  12. Unknown Loki character

Why would they do a Disney+ CMF series from a brand perspective? Disney+ shows are part of the MCU and not a brand themselves. It would make more sense that characters from the Disney+ shows show up in an MCU CMF series or knowing Lego a random selection of Minifigures from across all media.

I have to agree with this, BUT there's a chance that the CMF is actually fully Disney+.

Why they would do it? I have no idea, but for now we know that thsi series will be "surprising", and that certainly would be it.

I mean sets for movies release a few months before they come out.

Just in 2021 we'll have 6 Disney+ Marvel series - WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, What If...?, Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye.

If this series is slated for September 1st, that would be just 3 months before 2021 ends.

And it's not like we haven't seen concept arts for all of those ages ago.

Marvel CMF is coming out in August? Or is it still in September? I'm confused

As far as we know it's September.

Thanks. I thought that in August

I think the Scarlet Witch will be in the CMF

I really hope so. If she's in a set I doubt we'll get the duel molded arms that we need to accurately represent her gloves, a new hairpiece with her crown or even leg printing.

Given the series for Disney+, and the fact that some characters have gained popularity, you can already make an approximate list of Marvel CMF, based on the Disney+series.

But it seems to me that the Marvel CMF will be based on the entire MCU, that is, there will be characters from movies and TV series. This option looks more plausible.

Makes perfect sense honestly, the appeal of the Disney+ shows is the characters and it'd be tricky to warrant making a set for each of the Disney+ themes when the characters are taken from different episodes with entirely different settings. Having the first CMF series focusing on new or exclusive versions of the characters from the Disney+ shows as opposed to being legacy MCU themed would allow them appeal to fans of the prior media along with the newer media. I also feel we have quite a roster of characters that people would like such as: Scarlet Witch, White Vision, Agnes/Agatha, Billy, Tommy, 'Pietro', Monica, Falcon, Bucky, Zemo, US Agents, Hoskins, Loki, etc... would make more sense to do a set based on the safest one of these brands (Either WandaVision or TF&TWS) and for the CMF series to cover the other two and potentially some of 'What If'

I also think people seem to ignore that most of the missing figures we have are from Thor films: Malekith, Kurse, Skruge, Surtur, Dark Elves, Odin, Frigga, Sif, Volstagg, Fandral, Hogun, Destroyer, etc... If you end up doing a CMF series based on missing MCU characters, it's going to wind up primarily being Thor characters

Yeah, Loki was meant to be out in May I think - so it's entirely possible that 'What If' was meant to have finished airing prior to September for the CMF to be based around that.

I mean the series were announced July 2019. If a set takes 18 months to develop, that means that they started at the beginning of 2020, so you may be onto something, but I still think they had enough time to make the necessary changes.

To remind people, TFaTWS was Fall 2020, WV and Loki were Spring 2021, What If...? was Summer 2021 and Hawkeye was Fall 2021. Three additional series were announced later that Summer with an unspecified date.

I mean, I'm pretty sure they start developing merchandising before revealing the actual trailer.

Yep, this seems to Indicate D+ set is based on Falcon and Winter soldier. It was supposed to come out first , before 2020 happened.

Would probably just be US Agent, Falcon, Bucky, Zemo and Flag Smasher then... unless Power Broker winds up being a large role in the finale :shrug_oh_well:

So we are down to WandaVision, Loki or 'What If', am I missing any options?

So Wandavision or Loki? Loki seems more likely to sell, so I guess that’s the one...

I'd argue Loki is a more popular character and has appeared in more films so would be more likely - but have we definitely ruled out the set being based on 'What If' ?

Wouldn't dismiss What If? too quickly.
