By removing 3 for the Wandavision, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki are we assuming we will not be getting sets based off of Hawkeye and Ms Marvel or do we know this? I know you are just theorizing just making sure there wasn't something I was missing. Because in theory those last five sets could be 1 for Hawkeye, 1 for Ms Marvel and 3 for spider-man just like the far from home wave.

Well seeing as they sets are coming out after the shows air, I would say those will be January 2022 releases

The list we have is only covering Summer 2021 as far as I am aware, which would mean sets planned for releases around the middle of the year. The only exception being any Spider-man 3 sets which would likely be listed among the Summer wave but probably will not release in Summer due to the delaying of the film.

In order to avoid spoilers it seems like any Disney+ sets we are getting are not releasing until either after the show is completed or until a certain episode airs given we have yet to see a Disney+ related set currently for WandaVision (if it is indeed getting a set)

  • WandaVision finishes airing on March 5th
  • TF&TWS finishes airing on April 23rd
  • Loki finishes airing in July.

I'm only attributing a potential three Disney+ sets for this reason to cover the shows that would have finished in time for a set to be listed on the Summer list. We simply don't know when What If, Hawkeye or Ms Marvel would air so it's unlikely they would get a set before the show has aired, let alone finished, in order to avoid spoilers. As such any later Disney+ shows such as What If, Hawkeye and Ms Marvel would likely get an Autumn release for the sets depending on when they air.

Edit:
It's possible it could only have a few sets, but given the popularity of the previous film along with comments regarding this film I feel it is going to be a bigger scale than people expect and that Lego would have allocated it more sets.

After reading it over I realized something...people think the known sets are the only ones coming in the summer or were supposed to come in the summer....

Tease, tell us what you know :p

It's clear that we can have other sets, nothing is stopping them releasing a WandaVision Disney+ set and it not being any of the sets listed in Summer, but we are already hitting 27 actual sets for the first half of the year and that's out of what we know (Let alone the unnumbered $29,99, 298 pieces set). The problem is if we don't stick to what we know or have evidence towards we'd fall into endless speculation over potential options for sets for everything, such as theorising on an entire wave based around a Disney+ show for example.

Actually there is like 14 sets that were originally supposed to be released for marvel in the first half of this year (January-May) Everything after the carnage helmet is a second half year release (June-December) I’m pretty sure, also I’m not counting eternals cause I don’t think they are coming for a while

I'm not really understanding what you are saying...

I think we can all agree that making this year's list of sets is a very hard job. Are there any comicbook sets? How many Spider-Man 3 sets are there? Are there any Disney+ sets, and if so which set numbers they'd use?

I think a "just rumour that you should take with a huge grain of salt" isn't actual information, and definitely not one we should trust.

And just because someone desperately wants there to be as many Spider-Man 3 sets as possible, doesn't make this info any more reliable.

Here is a recap of everything that is being released and was supposed to be released for marvel that we know of so far

1HY (January-May)
76168: Captain America Mech (121 pieces) $9.99

76169: Thor Mech (139 pieces) $9.99

76170: Iron Man vs Thanos (4+) (103 pieces) $19.99

76171: Miles Morales Mech (125 pieces) $9.99

76172: Spider-Buggy vs Sandman (4+) (45 pieces) $9.99

76173: Ghost Rider Car (212 pieces) $19.99

76174: Spider-Man Monster Truck (439 pieces) $39.99

76175: Spider-Man Hideout (466 pieces) $69.99

76176: $29.99

76177: $39.99

76178: $299.99

76184: $19.99

76185: $19.99

76186: $39.99 (202 pieces)

76187: Carnage Helmet (565 pieces) $59.99

2HY (June-December)

76188: $29.99

76189: $9.99 (49 pieces)

76190: $39.99 (479 pieces)

76191: $69.99 (590 pieces)

76192: $69.99 (527 pieces)

76193: $149.99 (1901 pieces)

776194: $34.99 (369 pieces)

This isn’t everything for marvel that will/was release in 2021 just putting that out there.

People can make a lot of assumptions about these but besides the batman (which I took out for this list) and Shang chi because there is more evidence for them, the rest are really up in the air. Like you could make arguments for some of the missing sets being any combo of doctor strange 2, falcon and the winter solider , wandavision, Loki, Spider-Man 3, even Thor love and thunder (look at the original release date for the movies not the updated ones) and don’t forget about avengers stuff. Granted I could probably guess what each missing set is for the 1st half year but until the 2HY is public I suggest people try not to make claims that have to be taken with a huge grain of salt too without any evidence

Sounds like the entirety of the remaining sets will be MCU based bc of how many MCU related projects were scheduled to release this year. Not too mad at that but it really makes me wish they’d give a decent exposure to the comic designs in the CMF series. If the series goes to the MCU and so do the remaining sets, I’d be disappointed.

It’d be nice if this theme was treated as an evergreen theme so we can get more than 1 CMF series down the line. And eventually some more comics sets. If the MCU is going no where maybe I should accustom myself to very little comics sets. But also Lego if you’re reading this, if we only get 1 comic wave a year can we make it for someone other than Spidey? Especially if he also has a movie coming up that same year? I promise you a comic ant man and wasp set will sell decently at worst.

I was just sharing a fun thought lol, I know they most likely may not hold up but it is fun to speculate

76188: $29.99

Confirmation of 76188 being the mystery $29.99 (298 Pieces) set?
Edit: Given recent information this could be 76196... but will keep it as is for the moment.
Edit 2: Given lack of clarity, have temporarily assigned it to 76196 until we have clarity of another source for 76188.

you really think we aren't getting the  WandaVision set until one year later when it won't be as relevant? Same for FaWS and Loki?

oh THANK LEGO GOD lol I didn't want to wait that long for the WandaVision set, plus it makes more sense for it to come out in spring when the show ends

WandaVision finishes March 5th. If a potential set were to include spoilers, chances are the sets release would be timed for after the series has been completed.

Remember the source is that 'Marvel Must Haves' will include Lego in some form... It does not necessarily mean Disney+ sets even though everyone leaped on that as an option. While it does open up the possibility of Disney+ sets, It may simply be that they intend to use 'Marvel Must Haves' as a method of advertising other Lego sets such as the movie sets, D2C, CMF series, etc...

As far as I know, we have no confirmation of any Disney+ Marvel show getting a Lego set as of currently, just speculation.

I mean considering they mentioned lego and they will specifically host these "Marvel Must Haves" the Monday after a new episode airs, it is a very fair assumption that we will get atleast one set for WandaVision. Plus falcon fan has been implying he knows of the Disney plus sets generally speaking

Just finished the last episode, which was amazing, and I would love to see this as a set:

Spoiler

A sitcom set like we know them but one side is Wanda's world with Wanda and Vision and the other is the S.W.O.R.D. base with Woo and Darcy. Darcy could even reuse Parkers hairpiece from Hidden Side.

I really hope we get sets for the Disney+ sets, I can expect at least 1-2 sets for each series. They would probably release at the series finale.

If I had to choose what they can make as a set for WandaVision, it would be WestView in a Lego City style set. Maybe similar to the newer City sets with the back exposed like a dollhouse. As for minifigures, I think they should put their casual attires (disguises).

a set that large sounds unlikely, we'd probably get something in the $19-29 range

I just built the MIles Mech, and it does look very good on hand. Not only the minifig is great, but i really liked how the trans-blue webs were integrated in the mech. Add this to the poseability of so many ball joints, and the set is great!

Regarding the D2C, I feel the two stronger contenders are the Quinjet, and a gauntlet (if they choose the "display piece" route). I don't see an Avengers tower as a possibility because we've had two towers recently, and our last quinjet was a while ago.

A while ago? The Endgame Quinjet only just retired :laugh_hard:

Still, it is an older set than the two towers, which are still active. And if the Endgame Quinjet is now retired, that's an opportunity for a new one to hit shelves.

I would rather the gauntlet tbh, it is a build we have yet to get

If we're throwing ideas for sets, I honestly would love a set that's similar to Friends Central Park set, only smaller.

It would have the living room with a dinner table and a kitchen in the back. It would be pretty fantastic if they made half of it in colour and the other black and white, with one half having details from 70's, 80's and 90's, and the other from 50's and 60's.

The minfigures could be just Wanda and Vision, but 3 variants for both if them - 50' / 60's, 70's / 80's and Halloween. They could also include the twins as babies.
