3 Spider-Man 3 sets that are all $19.99 USD.....I mean I like that because they are all affordable but I really wanted them to put a lot of effort into them

RIP :,(

also, the Spider-Man 3 sets are coming out in October?

I get you, but I gotta say you did expect a lot. By putting lots of effort you mean making it a big set?

Well, they could still do effort by providing us quality figures included in the set without generic faces and repeat characters with blank or reused legs. Big doesn't mean better. Back in a day 20 dollar set was a killer, I hope the trend for Marvel lego love continues with Spiderman wave.

i meant more in terms of bigger set= more detailed and fun builds (normally atleast)

the $19.99 USD price point implies one major thing though....we will only get 3-4 figures per set (I'm not counting the 4+ set because they are negatable to me lol)

Tom's Spidey is a given. hopefully in his proper suit

Electro and Doc Ock are also a given (Zendaya confirmed she filmed scenes with Alfred Molina recently so that puts to rest any doubt he will be in the movie)

then MAYBE (just maybe) we will get one of the other Spider-Men as figures if that is, in fact, the direction this movie is going.

so in summary:

one set: Doc Ock, one version of Spider-Man, third fig/civilian, maybe another enemy

second set: Electro, another version of Spider-Man, third fig/civilian, maybe another enemy

So long as we get the main characters we need and do them with justice. Again I get you, to me it's perfect coz I'm more of a figure guy than buying the whole set, I only keep interesting builds other than that I'll give them away to my little nephews to play with.

There is also always a possibility getting a fourth exclusive set that contains spoiler.

What does that mean, if you mind telling us?

More SM3 and D+ sets, among other things. Can't really elaborate on it much further in case some of the info does turn out to be partially true.

this sounds like another endgame/civil war ordeal

Too many Avengers sets! At this point I’m so tired of non-MCU avengers sets, especially considering that they’d rather make those than more D+ and Spider-Man 3 sets. Those Avengers sets better not be Square Enix again. Also no way these are the only Spider-Man 3 and D+ sets. I still think we’ll get sets for all the D+ shows

Considering most sets are designed 1,5 year in advance I'd say there's a very good chance these will in fact be more Square Enix sets. Which is awfull as literally anything else would be better, even comics (which I personally don't care about at all).

LEGO really put their all in the failed Square Enix game huh. Just makes me very unhappy

also, any chance that we may get more D+ sets down the line since all the release schedules were changed? In my dreams we’d have a huge minifig pack (like the gamer’s market) with all the D+ main characters

maybe this means we will finally get the upgraded suit for Tom Holland 😅 with the small roster of figs that are normally in $20 sets, hopefully lego doesn't waste any slots

LEGO makes so many dumb decisions nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised with bad sets and minifig selection.

It seems like lego loves making bad sets for highly popular films. First Endgame now Spider-Man 3. Now those $20 sets could be gold but RIP my hopes for a Spider-Man vs. Sinister Six set. If each set contains a Spider-Man with 2 sinister six members I’d be happy too

you're probably right but regardless of the quality I will buy the sets lol, I will just be very vocal on whether I like them or not

the figure I'm excited for most is Electro, one because we've only ever gotten him twice, and two because his look will be different than TASM 2

Yes and yes. I’m also super excited for the Spider-Man 3 sets regardless. I hope they give Electro a lot of effects pieces (I also really want an updated Vulture and Mysterio but we’ll see if they appear in the film or not)

Is there any reliable leaker here that can confirm if those Spider-Man sets are actually MCU Spider-Man sets?

I know they most likely are (thanks to release date), but we've never gotten such a weird wave for ANY movie - not only is there a 4+ set, but all of them have the same price.

Can't 100% confirm these are SM3 sets but it seems like a nobrainer. LEGO can be pretty stupid at times but they wouldn't be so stupid as to release a wave of comic Spidey sets in the timeframe the SM3 sets would come out.

As for the current info I do have some theories but these aren't really based on information I have, more so just my own thinking.
1 - The setnumbers are correct but the prices are wrong.
2 - This isn't the entire SM3 lineup.
3 - The information is correct but Promobricks messed up and these aren't Spidey-related sets (unlikely).

I just want to see War Machine in one of those sets because No way in hell I am getting the helicarrier.

You could just get the figure off Bricklink or somewhere. It does suck when an exclusive figure, especially a nice one like War Machine is in an expensive set, but getting a repeat in a new set takes away a slot from a new figure instead. We don't need Avengers to follow the same suit as last year's Spider Man sets

I doubt the prices would only be wrong for the Spider-Man 3 sets, because then that same logic could be said for all the other marvel sets that we got info on today

It wouldn’t surprise me what so ever if we got 2 waves for Spider-Man 3

That’d be amazing.

Spider-Man 2 sets

Well then the version of him we got in 2013 remains exclusive. My point is a set with little to no repetitive  figures, a structure and a vehicle for $50 should be the norm. I don’t want to pay 60-70 for an oversized vehicle and a set with figures I already have.

And finally I hope we get comic versions of Scarlet Witch and Vision soon. Also hope Lego releases some comic sets this upcoming wave. I want a Black Cat!!

So wave 2 would have spoilers scenes in them? Would be cool, but first we need to know what movie is even about.
