Apparently the mid-May VIP set is the Friends set (the show) and Bugle may not have a VIP early release.

Oh! I was not aware about that until now. Ok thanks for giving head-up!

I don’t think the bugle will get a vip release

Ok, thanks.

LEGO really went and gave all non-American Marvel fans the finger when it comes to those Shang-Chi sets huh? :hmpf:

Really seems like they did

We always get pictures fro June sets before the end of April, last year it was 28th. In a few days we'll have them.

Unless you're talking about Bugle, in which case it might be weeks.

Well, FF said that's not 100% sure

On a completely unrelated topic, I finally realized what version the square Enix iron man is—mark 43, used in Age of Ultron.

not quite. Is it inspired off that suit? Maybe. But it isn't 1:1 the same suit

The Square Enix Iron Man got it's name because it's based on the armor design form the Avengers game. It may share some similarities with the Mark 43 but it's not any one of the many MCU suits.

Also a lit' bit unrelated but with all the talk about making a Punisher set and how "he needs a van" etc..
I made my own black van for when I'll get it. I tried to make it as close as I could to minifig scale but by doing so, it doesn't have an interior at all, which I'm fine with..

Right right, but I mean it’s the closest one, and I think se based it off of that suit.

Since we probably won't be getting a figure anytime soon, is anyone aware of custom US Agent minifigures? I know minifig madness has one, but their print quality looks a bit wonky and I've heard that they aren't exactly legit. Sorry if this question breaks any forum rules.

BrothersFigure and I think Phoenix (it's been designed afaik)

I completely overlooked the notion that the Shang Chi sets come with extra chrome gold rings and I love how many spares are left!!!

”One Ring to rule them all!!!” Hahaha

No he didn't. He said that it's not confirmed, but it's a pattern they seem to follow. Let's see if they still follow it this year.

At the moment, for sure. A little annoyed, hopefully it's only a matter of weeks before they come out in the UK, and not months.

One guy in a local AFOL Facebook group said he'd seen the Shang-Chi sets in his local Sainsbury's but didn't have pictures.

Also the Legoland Discovery Centres here have them on shelves, which gives me some hope.

Not saying he didn’t see them but I work for Sainsburys and nothing shows up in our internal systems so the chances of any of our stores having them is unlikely.

Trust me, without seeing any pictures, I'm extremely sceptical that he did see them.

Sorry, I just woke up when I've read this :laugh_hard:

What I was trying to say is that, for now, we have no reason to believe that the pictures will appear after the end of April. It could happen, but it's very unlikely.

Dw, mate.

I mean, I hope we get to see them this week, just trying to keep my expectations low to avoid getting dissapointed.
