Would you prefer Bro Thor to be shirtless to be more accurate to the scene or to have his blue/red robe thingy he wears for half of the movie?

I don't really see a use for a shirtless Thor so I'd prefer Lebowski.

Hair piece was confirmed to new new by promobricks. No one ever confirmed it to be a hair beard combo

That's incorrect though. Both in their article and video Promobricks just stated Thor would have "long hair", they didn't say anything about it being a new mold.

I feel like if Lego tried to approximate a hair/beardpiece for Thor that could be used for both his Lebowski and Nordic looks it won't have the braids in it and will look more like a generic beard.

Also although the two strands of hair on either side of the beard look suspiciously symetrical like two sides of a hair piece I don't think they are as that would make the back of the hair piece really high up to fit on a minifigure sideways

Ah my bad I misremembered that

Just a question, not about what will be in the Thor's House set but about what you would like to have in it.. If that makes sense

I love sets to be accurate but I'd also prefer to have Thor in his robe outfit because it's more.. iconic to the character in the movie, I guess?..

I hope it's the blue/red robe. Becuase if they're being accurate we will get summer Korg which sux to the bones.

Yeah, agreed. If they do it without the ponytail for Final Battle Thor it's already inaccurate that's why I don't think they would do two different hairpieces for him. One way or the other it's gonna be inaccurate.

Honestly it looks like the new Aquaman hair in dark tan to me. Which would mean the beard is printed... It's a nice recolour but would not be entirely accurate

The Aquaman hair wouldn't be able to fit side-on onto a minifigure though which is why I think it's either a new piece which is much shorter at the back or a hair-beard combo

Rather than getting an answer, it raises so many questions. But I love it.

FACTS: Promobricks said Thor will have "long hair" on both sets (benatar and final battle) didn't say new mold or new hair and beard combo mold.

It's not side-on but the correct way for that piece. It goes down in the front and in the back. The curls that are visible match with the length and curvature/relief structure of that piece.

I am certain it is the Aquaman hair piece. I compared it with one in my hand right now. The side of the hair piece on the neck and the front front are identical with the moulding structure. The longer backside is obscured by the cloak but it is evident that the hair piece goes deeper down on the back because the cloak is tightly pressed against the torso.

I think that it's two pieces. Theres a shadow between the beard curling in and the hair that SEEMS indicitive of it being a hairpiece on top of a beard. Also, I feel like if it WAS one piece, the beard wold flow directly into the hair rather than flattening out towards the torso.

Just saw the new Vidiyo leaks and all I have to say is I wish Lego put that much energy in their figure designs in superheroes as they do for in house themes like that and Chima (two themes that got leg printing more often than Marvel). This theme is wayy bigger than almost any other besides Star Wars I’d love to see waves where every single mini figure has leg printing. Yes that is right check the figure leaks every single Vidiyo figure in wave 2 (Bandmates included) got leg printing. Some even got arm printing. Would love to see that effort put here

Also really excited to see the full new Thor. From the angle we got of the new leak (assuming its finalized) his hair only parts on one end which makes no sense because his hair falls on both shoulders in the movie design. As a matter of fact it looks like he’s using the Gamora/Black Widow/ Storm/Supergirl/Black Cat/hairpiece. I’ll wait to see the full picture but like if Vidiyo got all those new moulds and he reuses that annoying megablocks hairpiece it would be such a let down. Mind you I don’t buy MCU sets but like from what I’ve seem so far these legacy sets may as well be made again because Lego did NOT nail the figure selection or accuracy in this wave. Detail is lacking and it really shows all the legacy figure leaks so far have been very disappointing.

Really? I was so sure someone confirmed that. Well then I guess we'll see :shrug_oh_well:

Asked Promobricks themselves asking for clarification in their report, they saw my message but didn't reply. Hahaha oh hell, we'll see it soon anyways.

Would you be able to make a side by side or up and down comparison picture?

Which is a shame because he really needs new hairpiece. His hair in endgame was gorgeous and would be so useful if introduced in Lego. That half up half down Viking hair do is glorious if recolored wow it’d make for such a pretty hair piece. It seems they’re reusing a piece that has only one strand of hair over the shoulder. Unsure how people are saying it looks like Aquamans piece as that does fall over both shoulders. Looks like gamoras hair to me

Tried my best to recreate the same angle of Thor using JL Aquaman's hair

It's not perfect but I can see that the shape of the hair is slightly different.. still not sure of anything
Edit: after closer inspection.. it really looks like it's Aquaman's hair.. the cape is different from the regular one tho

Yeah, I can see it being the aquaman hairpiece. Then face print would be different for those two figures. Oh well atleast it works for Lebowski Thor.

Oh god you're right

Yeah.. fairly confident it is aquaman hair but know I need to know.. will they just print the beard or make a beardpiece that goes on his neck and in between his hair?..
Because if it's just printed.. I'll be very let down by that..

Saw it, your recreation is way better than @TobyAis but the point is, it's the exact same piece. No new mold for hair. Well Promobricks was right it is "long hair" lmao :iamded_lol:

Of all the characters in the Infinity Saga wave outside of Thanos, I was really expecting Thor to at least have a new mould :sceptic:

I'd say it's 50/50 on a new beard mold that is used for both (meaning one version will be inaccurate) or no beard mold and it's printed.

Please tell me they're not screwing up Endgame again

Well, to be fair I can see it working for Lebowski Thor with a printing beard, I won't hope for a mold as they cheapen out the hairpiece already..

I still believe in this wave but was lessen because of this..
