I just had an interesting thought/realization. Square Enix is going to add their own version of Spider-Man sometime this year in the Avengers game. Last year we obviously got soft tie-in sets that were loosely based on events of the game (if you played the game then you know what I'm talking about).

So I wonder if those summer avengers sets for this year are potentially based off the game again, could they include a version of Spider-Man that looks like Square Enix' take? I would really love that.

(I just love an excuse for lego to make more Spider-Man sets tbh 😂😂)

I don't think anyone cares about this video game anymore, and I think Lego knows that.

Do we have a list for the upcoming cmf series? Also will it be 12 figures?

Not yet. As far as comments here, it was originally suggested it was 12 figures, but we were led to believe that it might not be 12.

CMF is not released till August apparently, so we will see what happens. We've yet to get leaks for any of the Summer wave of sets or the D2C - so perhaps it is just too early for leaks of the CMF figures.

It's definitely too early for CMF leaks, especially considering Looney Tunes is coming out first.

I know it will probably be comic based minifigures but I really wish it would be mcu based as there are so many characters and outfits we still need.

Unless another whoopsie happens in the same vein as last year’s premature HP S2 reveal, but I’m convinced they’ve since taken precautions to make sure something like that never happens again :snicker:

Korg is most likely coming in the Thor Love and Thunder set unless they’re releasing a Ragnarok or Endgame set before that. Is Endgame final battle D2C now a possibility???

Too early for TLaT leaks, probably those Avengers themed sets are MCU after all? I mean that's the most logical set for him to be included.

Kingwong75 is known for his crytic posts (if you remember the Ghostrider leak or last year’s HP leaks), but this has to imply a fig based on his MCU version, right?

I know I shouldn’t get too excited, but my hope for “legacy” MCU sets has risen a couple of percent now :sweet:

If the summer Avengers wave is MCU/Endgame based I’m gonna scream and cry in joy

Yeah, lego will pull off another Hulk-helicopter-thing again. Man, dream come true and they will focus on missing characters. But I would not let my guard down. I know and will always be on my lowest expectation when it comes to Lego Marvel. So I'm going to be happy with what is coming.

Although I’m still expecting the worst, I feel that you’re right. This year they’re already making a new Cap figure rather than reusing that Square Enix one. The LEGO Square Enix age may finally be over

Anything that gives me accurate Thanos, endgame Cap and Ronin will make me happy. I hope the summer wave or the D2C includes that

I already moved on with Thanos, I don't think Lego will ever correct him.

Cap is plausible, but Ronin is the one that they should be making.

Given lego’s Thanos love over the past 2 years (he’s in a lot of sets and even has a keychain now), I think they may take advantage of his popularity once more but actually release a good figure of him (even if he’s a minifig instead of big fig I’d be happy)

proceeds to release another Thanos without a new mold and the armor molded in purple

At first, I was quite disappointed when Ronin wasn’t included in the Endgame sets. After seeing the film though, I thought they made the right decision by including the quantum suit version instead. I mean, Hawkeye wore the Ronin costume for a single (awesome) scene :laugh_hard: It’d still be nice to get him of course, but the costume definitely wasn’t as important as we first thought

Lmao. I'd rather see a new big figure than this f****** figure.

While it's true that he barely uses in the movie. The thing is we would probably never see him wear that again.

Right now these are all speculations, again I will keep my expectations low until there's a concrete news.

He wears the Ronin costume throughout the film, the ''accessories'' are just different. More armor, the hood, etc. Here's the Hottoys version for comparison:

I think our best guess would be the $300 D2C, considering it's the only 1HY set left we don't know what is based on.

imagine if fhe d2c is asgard set during ragnarok.....I would LOVE that. Imagine if we got a brick built Surtur

That’d be incredible as well. However, i think LEGO would rather make an Endgame set than a Ragnarok set

Well we did get Mark 50 despite that armor never appearing in the film... but yeah I agree the Ronin outfit (not the later Hawkeye one just the masked ninja one) could have been used more.

Agreed. Endgame still their biggest film. I know that alot of us thinks that those Avengers sets would be (highly likely) based on SE Game, but imagine if not, imagine if some of those 6 sets is loosely based on MCU/Endgame just to give us those missing characters.

I suspect this figure will be in the cmf. (Korg)
