The appeal of that set is the figures and they should hopefully realise that... Well, promobricks said the compound is 2 stories, so it’s slightly more substitutional than that. I think that will be the main build and the ant man van will be smaller. I’m glad we have a reveal date now, so I can focus on other things in my life that probably need more attention than these sets do. Edited May 4, 2021 by NetherCreeper

Yeah exactly my thoughts, the other build can consist of big parts that would look like a tower like part of the compound. My pleasure, atleast it's peaceful here compare to the days we don't have a date to look forward to.

Honestly, for the compound it can still have 2 stories while using big parts or bricks similar to Hydra Fortress Smash. I dunno it's seems that to me that they want to highlight the van rather than the compound, I guess we'll see.
The_Fiery_Rooster Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 (edited) Eh, maybe. I think it’ll be big, but few parts. Keep in mind it’s 70 dollars, mostly just a van wouldn’t be enough value. I think the compound has to at least be on par with the van in order to have anywhere near a 70 dollar (90 euro!) value for the set. Besides, the homecoming van was massive, I’d prefer a more simple 6 wide van. Here’s sort of what I’m imagining: the compound about this size: https://brickset.com/sets/76152-1/Avengers-Wrath-of-Loki A van like the police van in this set: https://brickset.com/sets/60245-1/Police-Monster-Truck-Heist And the turret to be like the Thanos turret in this set: https://brickset.com/sets/76170-1/Iron-Man-vs-Thanos that would make for an okay play set, to me. TobyAis Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 I was thinking about this.. Star Wars seems to have abandoned the Battlepacks but if you could have a 15€ Marvel battlepack, to build an army.. What would you choose to have? I guess maybe a Chitauri battlepack for myself, 3 normal one and 1 commander and the flying 2 seats speeder thingy they used in The Avengers.. I already have quite a lot of Outriders but no Chitauri and for an Endgame MOC, you can never have enough troops
SpiderJazz Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 I see Chitauri having some sort of turret but Thanos?!? He doesn't need it (but this is lego we talking about lol) To be honest, the compound build or van isn't the main selling point of this but the figs are. 70 bucks is a good deal IF it's really 70 bucks. You'll be getting a big figure a microfigure and a bunch of never been made figures.

My solution would be to use legs that everyone dislikes and has multiples of - Quantum suit legs! It's not the most accurate, but it's kinda close with the camo print, and the red won't look out of place thanks to the Hydra logo which they put on the torso.

It's those types of sets I'd rather have to army build, not the same generic soldier as the villain in every set. 1 hero vs 2/3 soldiers. Or flip it and have 1 villain vs 2/3 heroic soldiers Which ones would I like to see? Cap vs Hydra (comic based, we only had 2 Hydra soldiers and they were both different designs), Iron Man vs AIM (also comic, because we need the Beekeepers), Captain Marvel vs Kree, Doctor Strange vs Mindless Ones

It's been 9 years and the closest we've had to a comic-style avengers wave was in 2014-2016 with the AA cartoon sets.

It would be pretty foolish of them to make an expansion to that set. Yeah.... everybody hated that set... ha ha.. 😂😬😨

They have absolutely amazing weapons and armor and would look fantastic lined up. Problem is it's hard to make good army building figs with more personally unique armies like that. Also sorcerers but again same problem.

First one would be for heroes, and it'd include a Wakandan warrior, a sorcerer, an Asgardian and a random superhero, Wasp or something like that. The build would be like 2 portals and rocks. The second one would be for Thanos' army. A Chitauri, an Outrider, a Sakaaran and one Black Order member, like Ebony Maw or whatever. The build would be either a Chitauri Gorilla (that would be dope) or a random vehicle.
BusterNut31 Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 (edited) Thanos kinda leaked... At least i think its real dc superman set leaked with doomsday with...u guessed it. A rotating head. Check insta @lego_underoos whole body looks different to me. Like doomsday is standing more upright. Edited May 5, 2021 by BusterNut31

Check insta @lego_underoos There is zero Thanos on that page. He also claims there's a Daily Planet set coming, which just wouldn't happen at the same time as the Daily Bugle And that Doomsday set... Well that's a set that would interest DC fans that also doesn't include Batman so it's obviously fake

THELEGOBATMAN Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Just 5 days, I can't wait to see those beauties! I don't think any more new minfigures will leak, but I sure hope so. It's only 5 days but it seems like a whole eternity

I just want to see the final thing, no more speculation analyzation about figures that could be missing cloth or hair pieces. If a figure were to leak though, I'd like to get look at the new Star-Lord.

lego_guyon02 Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Shang-Chi sets have an August 2021 release in Europe.

What in the actual hell Not that I'm interested in those sets, but nonetheless, what the hell Lego? That's literally over 3 months later than in US, but that isn't even the problem - didn't they already start appearing in various stores? Why did they decide to delay them 3 months?
