Has anyone mentioned the Spider-Man shown on the Infinity Saga boxes? Looks like it could be giving us a preview of the Upgraded Suit from FFH and NWH

It’s just the comic book Spider-Man minifigure.

Mk. 85 Iron Man looks new, I believe the gold on his faceplate and the gold printing on his torso and legs seem to better match the gold of his arms, unlike the current edition, which really bummed me out.

It's not, it's the same as before, the gold looks better because it's not the "real product".. just like Cap and his face on dark blue looks normal on the box but pale af irl

Characters that is included in the box art is a mix of old figures we already gotten. Comics and MCU stuff.

What I really want to see is the sticker, potentially at the back of EFB set that will show us the possible look for Captain Marvel in Sanctuary II set.

I was right! The compound is 24 studs wide! I think the other compound was 16 studs. All of these look great. That being said, I will probably only be able to afford the compound and maybe the dragon flyer if I plan to get the Benatar.

Do you guys thinks that Iron Man is new or is that just the lighting?

The layout of the pritning is definitely the same. Everything is right where it was. What IS different is colouring and shading in some parts. For example, lines around his stomach area now appear to be golden instead of silver. The bright red in some parts seems to be brighter. And stuff like this.

I personally think it's new with improve color accents. The possibility of just it being lighting is there but leaning towards of all the figures having new torso.

Maybe LEGO thinks they already gave the best that they got with Mark 85 but correct some of the accents and colors for the figure.

So this wave is hit and miss tbh.

Positives- iron Monger is surprisingly well build mech, and kinda a highlight of the wave. Dragon Flyer is good too, but as someone already mentioned, most  people will only be getting it for Shuri.

Negatives- Final battle set is basically police station from 2019 just smaller! Now this is obviously a set just for minifigures, but still Luis van is too small when it should be bigger here as its important part of the movie, and why do we get another police station type build here? Would rather have bigger van and some rubble form destroyed compound.

Now as for the figs they seem mostly ok, again no leg prints unless you are Iron Man seems like Legos motto for Marvel sets. No skirt for Wanda for some reason, she looks underdetailed like this.

And Thanos bigfig is definitely an improvement, but also a missed opportunity. Why no prior ted arms like in 2019 set? Why did they put studs on his back and head? Head is shaped super weirdly to fit the stud on it, and kinda doesn't look like Thanos head to me, probably should have included helmetsowe can have a choice how to display Thanos.

Overall an improvement over past waves, but let's be honest it's not saying much, considering Marvel sets in recent years.

It's only ever been in the $330 Disney Train set so yeah it's definitely rare.

Only the one without the suit jacket is exclusive to that set. The other one was and maybe still is available from Bricks and Pieces.

About the sets, a lot has been said already so I'll keep this pretty brief by only sharing not-too-popular opinions on them:

- I hate Thanos's face print. So much. It's awful. It ruins what was almost a perfect figure. I wish they just did the same face print as one of the other Thanos bigfigs on the new mold.

- I don't care about Iron Monger being massive. I view it as a display piece, kind of like the Hulkbuster which came out a couple of years ago.

- The dragonfly fighter looks boxy and bad, which is a shame since I love the look of the vehicle in universe.

Oh well, more money for Star Wars summer sets I guess.

Overall I love the wave and I actually really like the compound. I wish that the little turret build was instead a portal, though. That would have made it a bit more exciting and less "police station."

What do you need a bigger van for :laugh_hard:

Studs are there because it's a whole new bigfig concept, and that's how they'll probably look from now on. Stud on his head is there in case a new bigfig needs a hairpiece or whatever, and on his back in case he needs something on his back. It's just pretty smart business thinking.

I’ve brought this up a couple times, but if you ignore the garage, this compound should be 8 studs wider.

From initial rumors I expected van to be big build of the set, maybe the size of Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine, so you can fit both Antman and Wasp in front seats. The base itself is nothing special.

As for future proofing new big figs, sure business wise smart, but looks ugly on Thanos.

Time to write down my final thoughts on these sets:

Cap vs Hydra
Surprisingly good for 4+ standards. Love the new Cap figure and the Hydra soldier looks decent. Day one.

Dragon Flyer
Adore this set. They absolutely nailed the look of the vehicle and I'm surprised they managed to make it this big at $20. The figures look great, though the fact Shuri has no skirt is inexcusable. Day one.

Iron Monger
While a lot of people seem really upset about it's size I'm really happy the designer(s) chose looks over size-accuracy. I don't want to offend anyone here but I've seen quite a few downscaled Hulkbusters over the last few years and I really don't like how they look. The figures look great, especially glad Obadiah got a new faceprint! Day one.

Infinity Gauntlet
Looks good but it's not for me.

Final Battle
While I do really like this set there are quite a few things I don't like all that much:
- The Compound's interior is really barebones and that ''jail'' is such a waste of space.
- I really like the new Black Panther figure but I have no use for 2 of them. Another Chitauri would've been a way better inclusion.
- The lack of printing on Thanos' arms is inexcusable and honestly kinda pisses me off. Overall it really looks like they were planning to make IW Thanos and made a last-minute change to Endgame.
- The Wanda figure is bloody awful, I hate how they butchered her. The torso is great but the hair, face, legs, powerblast pieces and lack of a skirtpiece make her look horrible.
That said I'll still get this set day 1.

In this situation you can't have your cake and eat it

I think another hero should've been used instead of BP. There were countless choices they could've chose

That's true but these sets still have a limited budget, that's why I specifically mentioned another repeated Chitauri.

Agreed, and the fact that THANOS is the one who introduces the mold. It is very special. Is the new big figure perfect? nope. But was it better than the previous ones? Yeah. They listened to us having a bald looking one. You really can't have all.

IMO, they did a pretty good job handling Thanos I like it very much. Bootlegs are still better but if you are a purist you should be happy.

In that case then I agree, but maybe they could've reused Wasp or something (since we got her figure in 2018) anything so it wouldn't be a repeat of BP. Including Wasp would make sense especially since both her and Ant-Man have a side build dedicated to them

I think the main reason Thanos looks really odd is because his head looks like an upscaled minifigure head but the stud is just as large as we're used to.

I actually really like Thanos' facial expression. Arm printing would've been nice but you could just swap out the 2019 Endgame Thanos arms for this one and I think we will have a definitive movie Thanos

Just watch that bigfig head show up unprinted as an architectural detail somewhere down the line. Or better yet, as the wheels of some goofy vehicle.

I knew I'd love the iron monger set. Looks amazing, oversized but detailed. I hope we can find a way to downsize it enough so that its not too huge yet still keeping its  stickers and hydraulics. No easy feat.

Iron man's shield is a very nice touch. Everything else looks good; great sets with amazing details!
