Good grief, so many replies

That Benatar looks very sleek! Won't be getting it, but it's a nice treat for others, I'm sure.
Regarding previously revealed sets;
It's great the Dragon Flyer transforms into the other mode.

What I don't get about Thanos is why he has bare arms... My personal dislike aside, he has armor in the movie. It's not a whole sleeve attached to his torso or anything, but it's far from completely bare like how LEGO depicts it :hmpf_bad:
Other than that, I am considering getting the set after all. It has a lot of nice details. Too bad Iron Man isn't new, though :sceptic:

Regards,
Mitch

That Benatar is on another level.

I think my imagination ran away with me a bit about how much interior there would be after the initial description, but from those  pictures it looks like Lego's really delivered on what is there. Interior and exterior details are all amazing, and the figures are pretty sweet to boot. Still a shame about the lack of Drax or Nebula though.

Would the 2019 arms on the new Thanos be the most accurate?

I think so, they'll look fantastic and make him even more perfect.

I think it's more of a detailed build than roomy or big ship. It maybe larger than the previous but not much. The attention to details will explain the pieces count.

Love it, but I prefer the first one. As it has the pod feature.

It has a stand but this isn't UCS level.

I know that it's been said not UCS. Just to point out.

Benatar might have just become my favourite Marvel set ever.

The build is quite literally perfect. I don't have a single thing to complain. The interior isn't really much bigger than the 2018 one, but it's still amazing. The ship is so smooth, purple windshield rocks, and those engines

The stand is a fantastic inclusion, amazing for display.

Minfigure selection is like a cherry on top of it. Rocket, Mantis, Thor and Chitauri are great inclusions, but my god, Star-Lord and Groot! Superman's hair? Accurate face? New torso? Dual moulded legs? Recoloured guns? Star-Lord is quite perfect - and so is Groot. Finally accurate colour, and there's even leg printing and green printing on top of his head!

Also, 1900 pieces for 150€? What a deal :excited:

Am I crazy or does Star-Lord look clean shaven in the official images?

It looks like his Jurassic World face

And OMG.. I hate the new groot.. don't know why but I do

Also.. Stormbreaker is now incoherent since the handle is supposed to be Groot's arm but it's not the same colour anymore

It's definitely much bigger than the original Benatar and it blows the original out of the water when it comes to accuracy. The pod feature on the original may have been a neat feature but I'm really glad they ditched it as it was really inaccurate. And comparing it to UCS sets is a pretty unfair comparision as this is ''just'' a big retail set with a stand :shrug_oh_well:

Out of all the minfigures they could have reused... it just had to be Iron Man... I am really disappointed, as I don't like that minfig at all (the shield makes it a bit better tho).

As an Iron Man minifigs collector, I am happy with that, because if they would update it, then there would be 2 versions of MK 85 and it would be a little odd. For a new minifig I would prefer battle damaged version over updated armor.

That's your opinion and we can agree to disagree. I may be in the minority about the Benatar, yeah it's cool but an easy pass for me. Stand doesn't sell me at all when it doesn't have a plaque. Unlike those little retail Batman vehicles. If it's your day 1 purchase then it's all good.

I already have the new Mantis and Rocket. I'll be just needing Quill and probably Groot? Not a fan of the new color personally but a welcome change.

Wow, Benatar is definitely the best set of this wave!!! Better exterior, spacious interior, and simply looking amazing overall! Now figures are mixed bag here, Rocket is in wrong color(should have been sand blue or dark blue torso), Mantis is ok( almost same as 2017 one without any improvements like skirt piece), Chitauri(why is he here at all?). Why no Drax or nebula though? This is clearly from end of endgame where both of them were on the ship, legos choice for Minifigures baffles me sometimes. On the positive side Star-Lord looks great(still no helmet though), Groot is a drastic improvement on 2018 one, and nice to see another Thor here.

Overall Benatar is amazing, and must buy, despite some obvious flaws.

Did anyone mention how in the out-of-box image Thor has bare arms, but in all the other pictures they are armoured? Weird how mistakes like this happen.

Maybe he's got 2 sets of arms? Or it's a mistake

Mistake, detaching a minifigure's arms is technically ''illegal'' so LEGO would never give you 2 sets of arms

A mistake, Lego never acknowledges officially that you can remove minfigures' arms.

I thought I would only buy the EFB and Iron Monger.. but know I'm also tempted by Sanctuary 2 and the Benatar.. I'll buy the whole wave at this rate

I find this really funny because its so easy to do.

Benatar is a masterpiece of a set. Grey Rocket is lame but that Groot and Quill make up for it
