If someone is just watching the trailers and staying away from leaks, no, they do not want to hear that "the plot is weak". Even though it's not a specific spoiler it's still too much information for some people and invites discussion of plot-related spoilers, and as others have said, someone could slip up and say a spoiler without tagging it. And if the spoilers relate to set discussion, then what's the need to say stuff about the plot? At that point it's just movie discussion even if it's a throwaway comment. Never ever would I have thought that someone considers a sentence "the plot sounds weak" a spoiler. That's just... a random person's opinion on a leaked plot is a spoiler... even though another perosn might say it's amazing... I think we need to remind everyone what spoiler actually means. spoiler /ˈspɔɪlə/ noun a description of an important plot development in a television show, film, or book which if previously known may reduce surprise or suspense for a first-time viewer or reader 2 minutes ago, Clone OPatra said: Yep. I've spelled it out extremely clearly. Stop discussing it already! You've been a member of EB since 2016. This isn't new information. It kinda is tho, as we've discussed plot leaks various times in context of the sets (using spoiler tags), and there didn't seem to be a problem in that until now

Around the time a film comes out is one thing. We deal with that as we need to. This is a full SIX MONTHS before said film is due to be released. If you think this conversation has to be had about leaked details right and here and right now (when the sets aren't even available anyway), so sorry for you. Continue discussing this and the discussion will be had outside of this topic.

It's like if you went to rotton tomoatos or whatever rating system you prefer and read a review synopsis before seeing a movie. You haven't had a blow by blow, but an impression of what is to come. An impression that will shape your perception of the movie.

They are literally there so people who don't want to read something don't need to read it. It's not like there's a huge red sign pointing at it and saying "read me". I won't discuss this leak anymore, but we were discussing it in terms of which sets might be worth getting. Surely if people knew that none of the builds from Endgame sets would appear in the movie (or only for a few seconds), they wouldn't buy some of those sets. Same goes for Quantum suits. What plot element do you know? No, you know one person's opinon on a leaked plot. The person next to me might say that the plot sounds amazing. What would you do then?

I actually read it fine the first time, thanks. I don't want any impression of the movie entering it, so yeah, giving an opinion when you know the whole story WILL affect my perception of the movie. I don't want it to, but my brain, anyway, assess all the information it knows as it's viewing the movie. If I know as little as possible I enjoy it much more, and then will enjoy going back and watching a second time with a critical perspective. Nothing specific was said, but importance is rather subjective. And if multiple opinions are offered to opposing views then those will be logged in my brain as I watch the movie. See, I just don't want anyone else's impression. I want to see the movie with only my own. Edited May 25, 2021 by Childe_Roland

Oh my gosh dude, I’m probably the biggest arguer for why people shouldn’t post public spoilers on the internet but you seem to have a whole other problem going on here. Sounds like you need to stay out of any comment section, discussion thread, or any social media site forever or any film will be spoiled for you if you get so worked up about different people’s opinions entering your brain and ruining the movie for you. Just don’t think about it man, not that hard. I’m sure you’ll forget that some guy on this thread said they didn’t like a random leak by the time the movie comes out.

Ah, don't take all that too seriously . Using a bit of hyperbole to get a point across. Point for me is this is a toy forum, I don't want to discuss movies, that's all.
PGBQW Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 I'm so excited about trying to get the Buggle later today. But part of me can't stop wondering. Is there any GWP set coming out June 1st? Not necesarily Marvel related, just in general. I wouldnt want to miss it.
SEmrys Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 I really hope the Bugle doesn't sell out straight away. I'm away at the moment and so I was planning to delay my order so it arrives when I'll definitely be home. Also, I was thinking about the conversation we were all having about minifigure changes. I don't have the FFH Peter figure, but if you already had that, I was thinking the new Peter torso might be useful for a purist Flash Thompson? Change the head and hair and its got a varsity jacket look.

When I hope for a classic Yondu minifig, this it the version I want. On the discussion of movie spoilers/critiquing, this argument has been had before in this very thread. Nemo has weighed in both times. This thread is for the discussion of the sets themselves. Sometimes that means comparing what is known/leaked to be in the sets to trailers/leaked movie or TV show materials. That content should be in spoiler tags. Critiques on the movies/TV shows alone belong in the Multimedia forum, but I think linking to a post there so that people can find out what you have to say should be fine.
Archer Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Well, less than 24 hours till the Bugle drops. I'm interested to see how a Marvel D2C compares to the Star Wars releases that go on backorder within minutes. The last two sets I've managed to snag at the Lego Store on release day only to see them immediately go on constant backorder were Mos Eisley and of all things the Flower Bouquet. I definitely feel like the Bugle won't make it for more than a few hours, before going on backorder.

I've never really seen a cheap FFH Peter though so it'll probably be a while before I make the change. 39 minutes ago, Archer said: Well, less than 24 hours till the Bugle drops. I hope not, but I can see it happening tbh, especially considering how many times I've seen the phrase 'best Marvel set ever' thrown around.
JediJosh Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 (edited) Does anyone know what the purchasing limit will be for the Daily Bugle. Isn't it normally 2 for a set like this? I'm hoping I can order 2 Edited May 25, 2021 by JediJosh

EggBoi Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 I hope the FFH set will finally have the Homemade Suit. Although that's unlikely.

I bet the FFH set will have the black and red suit as it is also in No Way Home so they'll have it in all three sets I bet I also think that legos answer to the "home made suit" is in the Spider Lair set Edited May 25, 2021 by mgetz

mgetz Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Is there any chance we could get a bricktober minifigure pack this year? Is there any shot we get a Baron Zemo minifugre anytime soon?

Difficult when we're all communicating across a platform that doesn't account for tone . I was using an exaggerated example to give an alternative perspective. I used myself as in that opposing perspective for simplicity, but movie spoilers aren't a big deal to me personally, just a preference to keep them to spoiler discussion rooms .

Definitely makes sense, since Spider-man and Captain Marvel are in the set, they would benefit from these pieces. What other microbuilds do you expect for the AC? I expect a Christmas tree, and the hot rod car from 76167. Perhaps a weapon's rack, and a micro compound. I am actually surprised an AIM soldier is not among the minifigures.
