We've had 3 anniversary waves, and has any of them had a noticable dip in quality? Not really, no.

The argument is that minifigures in the Marvel theme are generally underdetailed so any additional budget the theme may receive would be put to a much better use on the standard minifigs, allowing for a higher level of detail than we usually get. The same applies to the Potter sets, the anniversary figures don't take away budget from the standard figures but some people might still have preferred that additional budget to be used on the standard figures.

There would be no higher budget if there weren't any anniversary minfigures, so I really don't see your point...
PsychoBuilder Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 Well, the bugles sold out, and the secondary market has gone insane already.

Made me panic then (not that I can't wait a bit longer). Still seems to be okay in the UK. mgetz Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 When will we start seeing leaks of the new asgard house, sanctuary II, CMF, and the advent calendar?

I hope it is this week.

Just checked Ebay and my head hurts The exclusive figs are going for ~$50 each and even generic figs like Ben Urich and Venom are ~$15 each. Not that this was unexpected but still. The best deal for just the building if anyone wants to make an expansion or doesn't care about the figs is some guy selling it for $170 plus $30 shipping, a whole $100 under full price.

If this year proved anything, it's that Lego can hold leaks much longer than we've thought. It's just 2 months until New Asgard and Sanctuary II, and August sets usually leak sooner so I think we can expect something pretty soon. Advent Calendars, if I remember correctly leak or are revealed some time before they release, but it's hard to say. CMF will probably be found in a store and start leaking, but we don't know if it's an August or September set.

I hope it is this week. I'm afraid we won't hear anything until later July, based on how the last releases went. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm setting that as my expectation so I don't have to deal with the weekly/daily disappointments .

It's certainly not as grand as the one in that video and still needs refining, but I like how it's turned out this time (I've rebuilt it 4 times now, it was originally just 2 of the 2020 version built together, but every time I have a new idea for it it grows wider and taller ). The tall floors of the Bugle inspired the latest change. Awesome, thank you. That is the beauty of LEGO, if a change is inspired you can work at it until you are happy. I really would like to keep mine confined to a 32x32 baseplate, but

What i learned is that prices are not as predictable as one might think. Kraven is ridiculously overpriced in the US for example, but not so bad in Europe. I'd stake my money on Punisher and DareDevil being the most expensive at 25-30$ apiece while the set is available. Those prices will go up though. You never know when future sets might bring a figs price down. Scorpion is less than Kraven because he was available in 2 sets. You can bet Punisher will remain exclusive though. Whoa, I had no idea how much Kraven's prices from US sellers have gone up! I didn't have much issue getting one for $12.99 just last month, so I'm glad I didn't wait any longer on that. The Bugle's release must have really increased the demand. 18 hours ago, TheBatstan said: Hopefully Kraven comes back with a better face this time. While the rest of the 2016 Kraven minifigure is perfection, that head is not even close. He'd look more accurate if you gave him any Tony Stark head than that Jurassic World head (which ironically enough was first used for the character played by Vincent D'Onofrio, so Kraven was technically Kingpin). Yeah, Kraven's head left a lot to be desired. I ended up replacing it with the Thorin Oakenshield head. 3 hours ago, Brickroll said: Well, the bugles sold out, and the secondary market has gone insane already. Hopefully this encourages LEGO to make more Marvel sets of comparable style and quality. I would think that the Bugle selling out this quickly should be enough indication that the demand is there.

That rumour isn't even a rumour, it's just someone's speculation that he phrased like it was a rumour. Reliable leakers already confirmed it's not happening. Which means he referring specifically to Lego Marvel Disney+ sets.

It's funny that some people spend that amount of money to buy in the secondary market, especially when Lego will keep producing the set until it retires... Scarilian Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 I think the remark was referring to why we had two Peggy Carter's in theory happening, one believed to be in the What If set, one stated for the CMF series.

Same here. I'm disappointed about Monica being included if that lineup is accurate. I love Monica as a character, but she's going to be one of the co-leads in a movie next year and her figure's printing would just be a white shirt and black pants. We don't know when/if Agatha is returning and even if she is in Doctor Strange 2, I highly doubt there would be space to put her in a set. And unlike Monica, her costume is detailed enough to warrant the budget of a CMF figure. I can't believe LEGO is missing out on making Zemo again, too. I don't like that the Marvel series is only going to have 12 figures. If it had 16, we could get pretty much every main character from these four Disney+ shows.
TheBatstan Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 After seeing the Bugle listed as "temporarily out of stock" on my Shop@Home, I'm now a little glad I decided to pull the trigger as soon as it hit 12 AM. Though that message makes me wonder if this means that they've reached the limit for VIP members to get one via early access and now have to keep the rest for the general population on June 1st, or if they'll be able to restock it on the site in time for the June 1st release date.

Actually here it’s still available. And now that i have a store near my house, it seems like even if it’s sold out on the website, you have good luck of finding one in store.
