That Advent Calendar is AWFUL. After all the cool Marvel sets recently, it’s like they didn’t even try (and YES more Square Enix variants to accompany me in the holidays)

Feels like the AC sets this year are primarily a spare parts dump. None of them have good exclusive figures and the best thing so far are the unsorted robes in HP... which are both boring and repeated three times.

All lego smirks are going to look similar. They have a small space to work on.

I won't levy criticism on the Korg head until we see more. The one that leaks looks to be slightly misprinted and I'd like to see it with the headpiece attachment first.

That Marvel advent calendar is horrenous though. All the figures are reused. The Iron Man sweater is meh and the Spider-man with the jacket ISN'T EVEN THE HOMECOMING VERSION, It  looks like someone just put a Hidden side torso on a Spider-man. What a terrible selection of calendars this year all around.

It seriously looks like a coast guard torso with green arms to me. Awful first advent calendar. Hopefully, when it doesn't sell well, Lego doesn't take it to mean that we don't want Marvel advent calendars.

Not sure why everyone lost their sh*t when we knew that the Advent Calendar was going to repeat figs and that Spidey’s torso was not Homecoming accurate only Homecoming inspired. Its a set filled with fun surprises and main characters for kids.

My biggest gripe is that they gave Thor his Infinity War hair instead of his Square Enix hair. The video game hair was the perfect color and here they excluded it because of the scarf.

Also, does anyone see the 1x1 arc reactor print? I can’t see any print on that snowman.

And what on earth is Spidey holding? A churro? What pieces are those?

I really don't like to be that person but after seeing the Star Wars sets that have leaked.. they put 2 minifigs with legs and arms printed in a 50€ set but in a 100€ Marvel set, only 1 minifig out of 6 has leg printing and it's a repeat.. I love the set and the others that just released but like.. seriously.. it's a bit insulting for the Marvel line if you see what I mean

I had the exact same thought looking through the Star Wars sets. I'm glad Star Wars gets such beautiful figs but I would kill for Marvel to get that budget.

I assume it's probably got something to do with Lego Star Wars being a money printing machine.

The Arc reactor is still to be revealed, in another build. Maybe the "Tony has a heart" gift. I cannot understand also what is Spidey holding. It looks like an yellow axle or bar (3L), but what does that means?

Let's see if the hall of armor improves the quality of the set. At least, there is a fire extinguisher in the AC!

arc reactor is on that table next to black widow, isn't it?

I don't think so, apparently it is a barbecue grill, and Black Widow is making a marshmallow with her baton in it.

The What If set looks awesome! A very unique build even though it's yet another oversized Iron Man mech. I really hope we stop getting Hulkbusters next year. The Advent Calendar is pretty meh, much like the HP one, which is disappointing. I wasn't expecting a ton but the exclusive figures aren't even good and like everyone else I’m sick of the video game variants.

Most of them are either useless, or are micro builds of things like Quinjet (which are also useless).

I'm planning on adding those to the toy shop in my town. To me they aren't far off some of the licro builds we've seen in the HP sets. Adding the ship from last year's HP AC set to my toy shop too. We all see potential in different places :shrug_oh_well:

The legs of the Sakkar Hulkbuster are a bit weird. They look like the mech is in a sumo fighting position.

And I wonder if in the show Tony builds the suit from a car in Sakkar junkyard. Would be nice (and explain the transformation).

Yeah, they´re using the 2018 HulkBuster Style of Leg Design, really wished they had used the 2020 Leg Design, it may be less accurate and Skinnier, but it looks much better imo.

Apparently, Promobricks has updated some information that confirms the WW2 Mech. The 76201 set is named "Captain Britain and the Hydra Stomper".

It does make me afraid that the set figure will be Captain Britain and the CMF Peggy will be the army Peggy instead of vice versa....

Really? We get 2 Marvel Disney+ sets, and both of them are What If...? mechs? Such weak choices...

Nah, it's already confirmed CMF Peggy will be the Captain Britain Peggy.

Managed to squeeze the first 2 bags of the Final Battle set in between projects. I gotta say I'm already starting to get really annoyed by the sheer amount of clear-backed stickers, there's a ton of them but only like 5 that actually needed to be clearbacked :sceptic: At least the figures have been incredible so far.

Hopefully we get some WWII Hydra soldiers, maybe even an MCU Red Skull (I know the Avengers Tower Skull is technically MCU but I want an official one). However, knowing Lego, I think we'll get a repeat Watcher as the third figure.

They are inspired designs, screen accurate and we don't know if any vehicles exist that are worth a set. I don't think we've even seen what ship Starlord T'challa drives. So I think they aren't bad picks.

Good to hear about CMF Peggy.

Yeah. That seems to be the implied case.

Promobricks lists 76201 as Captain Britain and The Hydra Stomper looks like the set numbers were mixed up

Edit: I should read more posts before I post

Personally leaning towards the idea of New Asgard being a thing and giving us Bro Thor (76193), Korg, Meik and either Rocket (76193) or Valkyrie (76194 or fishing variant).

The other missing set could also wind up being What If variant so I would not say we have dodged the bullet yet on a potential WWII Iron Monger just yet...

I guess 76200 is going to be Thor's House/New Asgard then.

Seeing as What If sets are being released pretty much alongside the show do we think that means no WandaVision, F&WS or Loki sets?

Personally hoping we may get a once a year Disney+ wave with 1 set per (live action) show. I’m choosing optimism over pessimism!
