Just finished the new episode, and all I have to say here is how I don't think I've ever been more pissed with them not including a minifig they clearly could've, but giving us Thanos Gamora or Zombie Cap instead.

What a disappointment, Infinity Ultron is probably the most badass MCU villain.

Do we even know if Thanos Gamora appears in Season 1 of What If...?

Because not only doesn't Sakaar Iron Man appear (a whole set), but it seems like she also won't.

I hate how they handled What If...? tbh, even if some of it wasn't Lego's fault.

Just got the Marvel Studios CMF, opened the first bag and it was Sylvie - with a pretty big misprint on one of her faces. The worse one fortunately. Also, something stick out to me.

Lego: 'we care about the environment'

Also Lego: *puts plastic bags inside of plastic bags when there are like a few elements inside*

Finished with all the minifigs. The quality is there. As much as I hate some of the choices, they look amazing together.

Random thoughts about the CMF:

• Scarlet Witch looks nicer in person, but I'm still not fan of that minifig. The face and crown just don't do it for me.
• Monica's hairpiece and face prints are amazing.
• Sam is my favourite mini figure ever. Simply perfect.
• Throg looks much better from different angles, his helmet and cape should pop out more, as he looks awkward from front.
• Croki is much longer than I've thought.
• I love the Tesseract. I've never seen a variation of a colour like this in Lego, it looks amazing.
• Spider-Man is probably my 2nd favourite mini figure ever, he's also perfect in every way possible.
• I forgot how many minifigures had 2nd face prints! Spider-Man's scared face is great, Carter's kinda-angry face is amazing, and Bucky's angry face looks awesome. 
• Disappointed that T'Challa is the only character that could have a 2nd face, but doesn't.

I would've much rather we had gotten an Infinity Ultron fig in an Ultron mech vs Strange Supreme than any of the other What If sets they gave us. Tony on Sakaar isn't even going to appear this season.

Just saying, one single set based on the finale of What If would give us everything the CMF didn't;

Infinite Ultron, Doctor Strange Supreme, Party Thor, Apocalyptic Black Widow

Arnim Zola and Watcher in his battlesuit would be cool additions, but not too necessary

Even if Infinite Ultron were to appear in a set, he most likely wouldn't have the same quality as the rest of the CMF (arm & side leg printing, plus a new mold for his helmet), which would be disappointing as some of the CMF really didn't need to be done with the same level of detail (Monica, Sylvie, Gamora though she looks really good)

 

Also I finally found some packs in a Tesco, bought 4, got two Sylvies, T'Challa and Captain America (Sam). Sam is a beautiful figure through and through, T'Challa's hairpiece is really nice, and it covers enough to give him another face which is unfortunate. Sylvie's grin face looks a lot better in person, I can almost actually see Sylvie in that print, but the smile face is just as awful as the pictures showed. It's quite a weak head in general, certainly wouldn't be a top pick for other female customs, other than maybe from some minor civilian

For people feeling bags - what’s the easiest way to find spider-man? Is it easier to find the two heads or the string piece? 
 

also is there anywhere that has determined which bags have extra plastic bags inside? I thought it was just for capes but a lot of these seem extra thick from the outside

I don't know how often lego is willing to make spoiler sets for multiple Marvel properties.

Wouldn't see it much as a spoiler set, rather than a wave 2. Compared to anything else currently in the MCU, What If has enough potential to deliver multiple waves, which could even double up as Infinity Saga sets; A Hydra castle/lab, Collector's museum, Wakanda throne room, Zombified Camp Behigh

I meant in general. For What If? NWH, Shang Chi, etc etc. I don't know if lego is going to continue making wave 2/spoiler sets for the Marvel line

No, I think Lego makes sets after movies release for when spoilers are crucial parts of the movie or its promotion after Lego sets are released, like Spider-Man in Civil War, or the whole 3rd act in Endgame.

Or in this case, NWH. We know Marvel didn't reveal the Multiverse to Lego, so I think they'll want to profit on making sets with Tobey, Andrew and a Multiversal Sinister Six. 

As for What If...?, I think we'll definitely get sets for Season 2, and they might include a Season 1 set in that wave, because why not. But I don't see them making separate set(s) before that.

String for spidey. Inner plastic bag is for caped figs which can help target in on those figs, if that’s who you’re looking for.

Infinity Ultron surviving the finale and appearing in Season 2 is probably the only way LEGO will ever consider making him.

I just noticed that the CMF has only heroes, without any villains.

I know we were talking about how Agatha or Zemo should've been included, but I've never noticed that actually no villains were included at all.

Probably being saved for inevitable Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers sets, Zemo and Walker seem very likely and they probably brought Abomination back for that very reason.

Agatha is an odd case and I haven’t heard anything about her being in either DS2 or the set...
