Not sure how many people would consider this a spoiler, as it's not about something that will be in NWH, but I'll spoiler tag it nevertheless:

  Reveal hidden contents

Rhino won't appear in NWH, the rumours weren't true. That means that LEGO has just 5 officially revealed / teased villains to cover.

Spoiler

Only Five villains... lame. Hopefully the trailer reveals or teases a sixth member, chances are we'll get the new trailer fairly soon as its been approved. Maybe we'll be lucky and they'll have been given concept art of Rhino so we'd get Rhino as a sixth member in the Lego set/sets :p

Completely random observation, but after watching a bunch of reviews on the Eternals sets I don't believe a single reviewer said Druig's name right. One person saying it wrong would be par for the course, but I'm talking like 5+ reviewers that all miss-pronounced a name that is essentially the word "druid" with a "g" on the end. Somehow everyone is saying it Droog or Drig or Durg or Dru-Eeg instead of Dru-Ig. I've heard names miss-pronounced before, but never so universally in so many "creative" ways.

Eternals are not that popular and many are unfamiliar with the characters.

I really hope whatever we get for Infinity Saga next year will include a new TWS or updated IW Falcon figure with the new CMF wings.

Same, my main hope would be revisiting Thor, Iron Man 2, Thor 2 and Thor 3. You could give us characters like 'The Destroyer', Sif, The Warriors Three, Whiplash, Hammer Drones, Malekith, Kurse, Surtur, etc... I'd also hope they give us Stark Tower as a D2C set, based on how it appeared in Avengers but featuring elements from all its appearances.

I feel like this has as many pros as cons:

Pros: we get one villain from each Spider-Man movie, which I love; TASM 2 Rhino was a really lame character with an ugly design; it gives a chance for introduction of an actual Sinister Six with a build-up, and not just including them randomly out of nowhere. Cons: it's just a formality, but Sinister Six vs Spider-Men would've sounded doper; Rhino is classic tank type of character and it would've been fun to see Spideys fight him.

If it were partially based on Endgame they could even finally give us figures of Pierce, Sitwell and (pre-Crossbones) Rumlow. Highly doubt we'd ever get them elsewhere.

There was a leaked Funko list from a long time ago that lists only Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and Electro as the villain figures, so I'm scared that Lego will skip Lizard once again...

If they don't give us Lizard I will got to LEGO HQ and use violence.

This is a perfect opportunity to get him as a minifig which we've wanted since the beginning of this theme.

Looks like the Tobey Maguire action figure y'all were so hellbent about it being real ended up being fake.

Shocking twist, innit?

…and now you‘ve been placed on a watchlist somewhere :laugh_hard: I can see the headlines already: „Real-life one-armed lunatic arrested while trying to set fire to the HQ of Danish toy manufacturer LEGO for failing to cave in to demand for minifig of fictional one-armed lunatic“

I‘m sure we‘ll get a Lizard fig at some point, but not in the context of NWH I‘m afraid. Too many villains for the rumoured amount of additional sets, if those rumours even pan out in the first place :shrug_oh_well:

It's just 5 villains, one of whom can be a build.

If the rumours about 2 more sets are true, it's such an easy thing for LEGO to make:

A 30€ set with Tom, Andrew and Electro with a buildable Sandman, and a 50€ set with Tom, Tobey, Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Lizard.

A set with 3 villains is a bit of a tall order though as we rarely get more than two in the same set (mooks excluded) :shrug_oh_well:

This is a special case honestly.

Seeing as we've known the villains for months, that must mean that Sony did reveal all those villains to toy companies, including LEGO.

They had time to prepare, and a Multiversal Spider-Man movie with 3 Spider-Men and 5 villains, each from a previous movie, is an instant money-maker.

Have we, though? We've only officially known about Gobby, Doc Cock and Electro, while Sandman and Lizard are hinted at in the trailer, we have no official confirmation of them being in the film.

Yes, we have.

Obviously not officially, but the first mention of those villains (in a leaked plot) tracks back to May. And after that we got multiple leaks like that from multiple sources - that means that people know they're coming, which leads me to believe that Sony wasn't hesitant to reveal them to toy companies (which get them ad much money as the movie itself).

So some magazine scans are doing the rounds on twitter, in one of them you can see a snippet of the article that

Spoiler

confirms the Lizard

If it's not official it's irrelevant. Just because something leaked doesn't mean Sony told LEGO.

Not my point.

The point is, a lot of people knew about it, which means Sony hasn't kept it as secretive as, for example, Endgame.

That may lead to the conclusion that if they weren't as secretive, toy companies got information and concept arts a while ago, with all the villains, and not just the most important ones.

Of course on the other hand, it could be just that Sony wanted to be as secretive as Disney with Endgame, but they failed terribly.

But they were trying to be secretive. We're not even supposed to know we're getting several spidermen.

That still doesn't say anything though, it's not exactly groundbreaking news to say Sony Pictures is pretty much incompetent when it comes to preventing leaks.

Yeah, perhaps.

But you never know. They can't be as incompetent as this. After all we've had tens of plot leaks, regular leaks, leaked trailers and images, and even actors saying stuff they weren't supposed to. And it's still an MCU movie.

Apparently it's not an actual confirmation, as under that text they don't confirm they are in the movie, but the fact that they are rumoured to appear.

Well, I'll guess we'll see tomorrow when the magazine is released. We know they are in the movie, but it would be weird to confirm them through a magazine.

But we know. Why do we know? Because it was revealed to a large number of people, some of whom couldn't keep that secret.

That means that perhaps they also revealed it to toy companies a while ago.

Sandman is confirmed from the cover of the Empire magazine, alongside Pumpkin Bombs, Ock's arms and a green/yellow lightning bolt, his fist appears

Tbh I’ll be perfectly happy if we only get Goblin, Doc Ock, and Electro, but considering that TASM is the first spiderman movie I saw in theaters, it would still be nice to finally get Lizard in lego form

Also for wave 2, they could make a set just like Endgame final battle with a lot of minifigs and a big fig and charge us $70
