There‘s still a chance they might officially reveal one of the June sets :classic: Last year, they suddenly revealed the 501st CT set on April 1st, a full 4 months before its release, so a reveal 2.5 months ahead wouldn‘t be that much of a stretch :shrug_oh_well:

Hoping to see the $250 August Wave set as well as some hints on the 2022 wave. Can’t wait!

Might want to temper your expectations there, we‘re lucky if even ONE of the June sets gets revealed  Anything beyond that is incredibly unlikely

Haha that was definitely a joke

Apparently there's going to be a LEGO Harry Potter live-stream on Friday at LEGO.com with Fiorella and Marcos Bessa (two of the designers on the team). Sounds interesting!

Do they normally do livestreams for standard themes? The only one I remember before was for Diagon Alley.

Think the livestream would be a great way to show something new off. There is those 20th anniversary brickheadz rumoured so would probably be one of them if anything or maybe something totally unknown at the moment which would be even better...

I recall they did one recently for the Roman Colosseum and when they announced the Police Station

Big deal sets then. Wonder why they're doing one for Harry Potter now...

Maybe it's to promote the new Hogwarts system by showing a physical video of all the sets together in different configurations? Even with the leaked box images we haven't seen what exactly the sets look like combined, we haven't even seen the Bathroom from the outside. Plus this is the most modular system since the 2001-2003 castle with how the rooms can fit together in different orders (if we assume rightly).

Seriously if there are more Hogwarts sets in this style in August too (there could be 4/5 compatible sets for all we know!) this could be a big investment / risk on Lego's part, especially since the previous Hogwarts sets in what could be the now-defunct style have had unnaturally-long shelf-lives. Considering this theme seems especially catered to AFOLS much more than others with the level of detail in the bigger sets I expect Lego will be wanting to put the extra effort to keep adult collectors onboard with this big change.

I remember the Great Hall was shown off quite a bit before the other sets (and even using some prototype elements) so this could be the same sort of deal if Lego thinks it's a big enough deal.

I hope they at least give us a little peek of something even if it is just a few of the upcoming minifigs.  Maybe a golden one or two.  That leak of the golden Quirrell/Voldemort didn't even show us the front of the torso.

I can see this. Showing off some golden minifigures would be a fun way to tease the upcoming wave as an anniversary wave without actually revealing the sets (if it's too early).

Panda Minifigs uploaded a review of the new Endgame Rocket figure on YouTube, you can see Quirrel in the background

Madam Hooch as well. She has darkblue legs. Both really nice figs.

Thanks for that.  A bit blurry but nice to see they are actually doing a detailed torso print.  I just watched without sound as I hate most you tube reviews and avoid them like the plague.

Are we expecting anything special for the frontages? I assumed it would simply be the lines of the standard print on a golden torso.

Not really, I just thought it odd that none of the posted pictures showed the front when they took the effort to show us both sides of the head.  The anniversary writing on the back of the torso is of less interest to me than whatever they print on the front.

Oof, not a fan of the metallic gold printing carrying down from the pearl gold turban. That certainly could have been done better.

So I just saw on Brickset that the Transfiguration Classroom has been reduced by a whopping 34% already down to £19, which certainly seems a lot more palatable! I'm definitely going to keep on eye on those sets now as I could see myself buying the Herbology and Ravenclaw sets eventually somewhere down the line if they drop down to that sort of price.
