But they indeed dont know anything about D2C set (nothing more that we do) because they thought its chess but its actually something completely unknown

But FalconFan must know something about the D2C to make his hat eating comment. Honestly, if falconfan is making claims of eating a hat if the D2C set is Gringotts then that tells me it probably isn’t.

No, i think it literally just means he doesn't know what it is. After all, it's releasing in August and we have information for most of the August wave really early this year

Yep, and he continued to reiterate that AFTER the change up. I suspect D2C Gringots will be 2022.  

Frankly, if that Egg is a HP set and is a Norbert Egg....makes me think a Leaky Cauldron is coming, since that's where Hagrid got it. Not sure where else a Norbert Egg would come in this year.

You don’t make crazy bets if you aren’t confident in what your betting. He might not have all the info of the D2C but what he does have might allude to it not being Gringotts.

I’m not saying they know exactly which set it is at the moment, but saying “they know nothing about it” is simply untrue. And if you can’t tell the difference between those two things then I can’t help you.

@Falconfan1414 and @Guyon2002 have both stated that they do not yet not know what the D2C is. When falcon said he would “eat his hat” again after the recent news, he made it clear that it was based on his own speculation. That doesn’t mean anyone on here has the right to be rude to them or to call them and @Brick Clicker liars or anything like that. They are under no obligation to share the information they do have with us. We are lucky to have them otherwise this whole leak season would have been unbearable. Let’s show a little civility.

I keep thinking about a $250 Hogwarts Grounds set. Maybe it could have PS Hagrid's Hut, the Forbidden Forest with the Unicorn and Fang. Maybe even Aragog?

Hagrid got Norbert(a) from the Hog's Head, not the Leaky Cauldron.

Interesting - a generic-type Hogwarts Grounds could include a lot, be similar to the Hoth Set a while back, including a lot of different Hodgepodge of things, INCLUDING a Flying Lesson area.

That's a hell of a rollercoaster with the August wave! I think we should greatly appreciate all the info we get that many months ahead and at the same time not expect and demand from those best informed to share and disclose everything immediately or pressure their sources. It's awesome when you can share or hint some new leaks, but it is still great to read your input when you just discuss the possibilities knowing as much as all of us :)

 

As for my thoughts on the probable D2C I can see few scenarios:

- worst option (of course based on my preference) - it's just the set numbers gone wrong and the 250$ will be the buildable figures of Harry and Hermione with enough spare parts to swap Harry's head for Ron (or - thriller version - put his poor head on a silver platter somewhere in between Harry and Hermione ;p) 

As for things outside the known list I believe we can get:

- Gringotts )one can only hope!), at this price it could include one more building from DA, perhaps Madam Malkins or Eeyloops? I don't think it would be The Leaky Cauldron or Borgin and Burkes as it has to work as a standalone set as well and linking those together wouldn't make much sense.

- motorized Hogwarts Express including a full track loop, Hogsmeade Station and more than one wagon (it could connect to the Hogsmeade set we will be getting in June. It's a bit early for a remake of the Hogwarts Express, but that could certainly explain the price.

- Quidditch Pitch with all around stands, two full teams and some exclusive prints for spectators (McGonagall with a Gryffindor scarf etc.)

- Triwizard Tournament - with that price point it could be a set combining all three tasks together with three scenes that can be combined into a full "landscape". Such set could include a part of the stands from the first task with a new dragon and rocks to stand on, a lake part with a platform and a modestly sized Durmstrang ship and perhaps a side scene with Merpeople and finally a part of labirynth with a cute Blast-Ended Skrewt to keep the contestants entertained ;)

I’ll also put this out. If lego were to release a gringotts this year it wouldn’t be based off deathly hallows. Lego wants to celebrate 20 years so it would be based off Sorcerer's Stone

Well that is the only argument against it

• If they give us a yearly DA set it is better to get the next one out this year.
• if it is based on the first films, they can give us a dragon set later
• as long as the sets work as stand-alone sets like the modulars it is no problem to make more DA sets
• in DA sets we would only get characters we got already or that never would come in any other sets than DA sets
• further DA sets would not use up any sets ideas since we already got the DA
• if they where only giving us one DA set why not include the bank
• most of the fans want it

I would want Gringotts to be DH based with some SS Easter eggs thrown in so I’m happy to wait for a better time for them to release it

I would love a SS Gringotts, though at $250 there would need to be more than just Gringotts, so having Leaky Cauldron as well would be *chef’s kiss*
