Brickity Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I’m so so so pumped, I really don’t care about the style thing.

Modal Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 So with this information, any predictions on the $199 and $249 sets? We can cross out Hogsmeade and the Hogwarts modular.

Balrogofmorgoth Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I think the SS Griphook in the AC is interesting. Maybe there’s a Gringotts coming in the fall but it’s based on DH so Griphook comes in the AC to be able to recreate that scene as well
Pulp Detective Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) Will they cover at all the DH movies this year though?Looking at the existing list,it focuses on the TPS and COS although I have no idea from which movie the Hogmeade set is based on.And excluding 76391 since it's over 200$,the remaining sets are only 4 and I somehow doubt that they're will be based on DH since they're going all out for this anniversary. Seaber Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 As excited I am about new characters like Sinistra and the Flumes, I love that Lego are filling in blanks like PS Griphook and Dudley, as well as getting great varients like Lockhart in the chamber and wintry McGonnagal. I hope the new Dumbledore has the hairpiece in white!

I think the fact that we get two waves indicates that the remaining 5 won't be anniversary-themed If they were, it'd make more sense to release all of them at once
lego_guyon02 Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 The new Griphook sounds interesting but other than that the AC sounds pretty lame. 6 minutes ago, Modal said: So with this information, any predictions on the $199 and $249 sets? DH should be the August wave. Hogsmeade is based on Prisoner of Azkaban.

AdriWho Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 These are great news!!!! But I do not think they are remaking anything. Maybe those 4 anniversary sets are meant to be a nice nod to the early 2000's sets with their green roofs. Since apparently all of them can connect one with the other I wouldn't be surprised if they would work as a standalone "piece/collection". I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the wave.

Not necessarily, could still get one from the last 2 films, most of this set seem a little on the side with focus on the 20 year anniversary I still hope for a big DA expansion 7 minutes ago, Lego-Freak said: PS Griphook and Dudley in pyjamas (and a pig tail, I hope) aren't new characters, but new versions are welcome too Yes of course it is not all bad and Griphook is probably so different from the CMF that it can be used in Gringotts (however it probably comes there as well) as two goblins
MaxHeadroom Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I can not find the promo bricks article. Can someone link it?

Falconfan1414 Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I think they meant that it is 119.99 and put a 9 instead on the 1
RODDY Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Here is the full blown translation for my English folks: The smallest set available in summer will be the girls' toilet from the second Harry Potter film. In terms of both price and composition, the set is reminiscent of the 75966 Room of Desires. The room has a size of 16 × 8 studs and can be connected to the other two new Hogwarts sets. It includes a toilet cubicle and three wash basins under a mirror front. In addition to Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, Hermione with a cat's head in LEGO form is also included for the first time. What is special here is that the figures have the faces of Crabbe and Goyle printed on the back of the heads. Hermione can also be transformed back into her original form. The three gather around the cauldron with polyjuice. You won't find the Moaning Myrtle here. Fortunately, it was already included in last year's 71028 Harry Potter Collectible Figure Series 2. In total, the 217 parts will cost 19.99 euros. There will be a gold Harry Potter in this set. For just 39.99 euros, but only consisting of 397 parts, we get an expansion set for the new Hogwarts Castle. The set is very reminiscent of the 4706 Forbidden Aisle, which appeared in 2001 as one of the first LEGO Harry Potter sets, with its tower and walled area. Just like 20 years ago, the set includes Harry, Hermione and Ron as minifigures. There is also a new edition of Hagrid's three-headed dog Fluffy for the first time. Its body is brick-built, the heads are made of new molds. The set also includes a harp and a golden Hermione. Most LEGO Harry Potter fans should be happy that there will finally be the first implementation of the wizarding village of Hogsmeade, which is located near Hogwarts. Of course, the whole village doesn't fit into the set. Similar to the set 75968 Privet Drive 4, there will be two house scenes, the back of which is open to play. These are the honey pot candy shop and the Drei Besen tavern, where the students like to stop for a butterbeer. Just like in the film, there is snow on the roofs. The figures include Harry Potter, Dean Thomas and Professor McGonagall, as well as the landlady of the three brooms Madame Rosmerta and the owners of the honey pot, Mr. and Mrs. Flume. The set will consist of 851 parts and cost 79.99 euros. There will be a golden ron in this set. The biggest surprise among the LEGO Harry Potter novelties for 2021 is this set, as the 75954 Great Hall of Hogwarts is already a Playscale version of the castle on the market. Production of the set was actually supposed to be stopped by the end of 2020, but the date was postponed due to the great demand. At the latest with the appearance of a new Hogwarts Castle, this should also be the case in summer 2021. The set contains the great hall and also the great stair tower. Unlike the previous model, the roofs are green instead of gray. The structures are also nowhere near as detailed. But this part of the castle also has a substructure, more precisely here is the Chamber of Secrets. Fittingly, the entrance door to the Chamber of Secrets is also included. Harry, Ginny, Dumbledore, the almost headless Nick, Colin Creevey, Lockhart in an orange robe, Tom Riddle, a teacher and a student are included as minifigures. There will also be a new, larger version of the basilisk. With this set, a gold Voldemort minifigure appears

Darth Shadowthrone Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I really hope the Basilisk has a moulded head this time! I’ve really liked Lego brick-built creatures in recent years like the Ninjago dragons and the fantastic beasts from the suitcase but in my opinion the ones with moulded heads are preferable to brick-built heads

Maple Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 76387 is an expansion to the new HogWorts? This kind of pisses me off. I just spent $160 on the 3 of the 4 big sets thinking they would continue on.
