The initial rumour was September, but that may be slightly incorrect as some of the leakers have hinted at. The following months are all pretty busy in terms of D2C set releases This is the roadmap as I understand it: September: Hogwarts Icons (rumour) Peach’s Castle (rumour) October: Pickup Truck (official) Tumbler (rumour) November: AT-AT (rumour) Titanic (rumour) Unknown: Camp Nou (rumour) Queer Eye (not sure if it’s a D2C set though) Winter Village set (no rumours AFAIK, but there has to be one) So some months will provide us with at least three D2C sets, and thus the Icons collection could easily be released in, say October with Camp Nou taking the other September spot December I omitted on purpose because I don’t think they’ve ever released one then (maybe they should start though, looking at that list )

BrickBob Studpants Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 I wish D2C minifigs leaked as reliably as the ones from regular sets. It’s no fun speculating about a set without anything to latch onto
Vindicare Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 11 hours ago, BacktoBricks said: Exactly. Crossing fingers for a second task. Also, I got the Let's Play Quidditch book today for the Cedric minifigure. Apologies if anybody already has it so knows this, but it's not actually officially released in the UK yet but I got it from a book company through ebay. Anyway, it's clearly meant as a kids' activity book, but it has pictures of the entire quidditch teams for each house, presumably from Harry's first year as Malfoy is not yet the Seeker, and they look so cool. I'm trying to work out if the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff line ups are accurate, but from what I can find we never discover the entire lineups for these houses. And it would be expensive but even though I am normally a complete purist I'm so tempted to create some quidditch teams. I hope we get the Ravenclaw torso used in an upcoming set or book etc and get a soft blue or navy cape and a less expensive way to get the pieces. I bought 7 of them & just recently completed my Hufflepuff team. Now I’m on the hunt for a good deal on a second Quidditch Match & buying the leftovers to fill out those teams. I definitely hope the Ravenclaw torso shows up elsewhere, otherwise they won’t get a team.
Beasty_Boy0800 Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 On the subject of Diagon Alley, if anyone is interested in building up the other side of the street I would suggest you look up Scarlet Patronus on Instagram they have made fantastic designs to accommodate the official set. You can purchase their stickers and instructions for very reasonable price and I've built the first one and it looks amazing with the offical ones! Enjoy 🙂

Roebuck Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 I asked Lego and got confirmed that DA will not come for sale in other shops except directly from them at least in Norway, so then I can just wait for a decent GWP and bite the bullet

You must have the patience of a saint then The only time I couldn’t get a set right at release (as an adult) nearly crushed my spirits In Switzerland, the set is available at one toy store at least (FCW), so might be a region-specific thing. Or there’s no retailer willing to carry it in Norway

But here on Montreal it is also a Lego Store exclusive, as I have not seen the set anywhere else.

Phyranion Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 So a while ago there was this book, ISBN9780241409459, containing a unique Tom Riddle minifigure. Are there any other similar products containing unique Harry Potter themed figures/bricks? It's getting kind of hard to keep track of all the various sets.

There's another book with Cedric in Hufflepuff quidditch gear but other then that the other books are repeat figures.

As @Beasty_Boy0800 says, the only other book with a unique figure is the Let's Play Quidditch book with the Cedric figure. But the Harry Potter 2022 Yearbook which will be out later this year will come with the Lucius Malfoy figure from Diagon Alley and whilst it is not a new figure it might be more useful to some people than other old figures put into books as Lucius is only available in the expensive Diagon Alley otherwise.

There's a new one coming out called the Lego Harry Potter: Wizarding Duels: Potter vs. Malfoy Boxed Set. Seems to include 2 figures but appear to be common pieces. Also seems like a basic insert of cards and not a book itself? Can't tell.

Gbt3783 Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Greetings from a wet and windy middle England, long time lurker here! I’ve enjoyed reading all of your speculations, hints and leaks over the years and thought I’d throw my ten pence in. I’m curious to see what everyone thinks will be covered in the ‘icons’ set. Apologies if this has been covered but I’m going for enlarged versions of: the golden snitch the sorting hat sword of gryffindor Tom Riddle’s diary Nimbus 2000 I have no basis for my predictions/ suggestions other than these are important objects from the first couple of books/ films. What objects would have to be included for people to be tempted to buy it?

I have wracked my brains and honestly for myself, I can't think of any object that could possibly be exciting enough to make me buy the set. I'm open to being surprised, but personally I don't think i've bought anything that isn't minifigure scale.

I can imagine them doing a sorting hat and broom at that scale but who knows what we will get until we get some leaks. Any hints of what scale they are using by the people who are in the know would be nice.

Tinkfan Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Here’s my guess for the D2C set: A brick-built trunk containing buildable items such as Harry’s wand, glasses, a caldron, books, golden snitch, chocolate frogs, etc.

Random cauldron would definitely be considered an odd one.

Hiker13 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Greetings from Michigan! Despite the trustworthiness and past record of the rumor sources for the Icons set, I will continue to believe it can’t be true to the bitter ( and hopefully soon) end. $249 on assorted builds? So, I might like some, not so much others but need to buy the whole thing, especially if there are some interesting minifigs. I realize people buy sets for minifgs only and just sell on the sets, but, but… $249! Ok, maybe people actually did that for Diagon Alley too. LEGO money must have that play money feel, like spending foreign currency.🙄 Any other hold- outs out there, covering their eyes, fingers in their ears, wishing this set away and replaced by almost any other build? 🤞
