And here Video

so it all moves together now when I go to calibrate it doesn’t move it shifts the purple thing from 9 o’clock all the way around but the vehicle doesn’t move

yes there are some stiffeners missing in the chassis will put them back once I get it to move

Seriously... You aren't following carefully the instructions. On page 31 it shows how the gearbox elements should be placed. This is what you have build:

2617CCAB-41E4-4197-A3B6-EAFB0ECC94E0

So please compare the image on the right side of pages 31 and the picture above in my post. Do you see any differences? You are answer should be yes, because I see one. So... please follow the instructions carefully. Pay attention on how parts placed. Also pay attention on how parts are placed relatively to each other. This is crucial. I'm sorry to say that, but if you don't do that; if you don't pay attention, I'm wasting my time helping you.

If you don't see it click on the spoiler

Spoiler

The orange part on the right side is placed correctly. But the purple part should point to 12 o'clock, while the orange parts stays in the same position like it is now.

So I moved that pink thing over 90 degrees. Still nothing happens , the rear wheels spin when I lift it in the air the front wheels don’t move but the engine spins

front diff problem ?

What happens if you do the same test but have the rear wheels off the ground with the front wheels up in the air. Do the front wheels turn then?

It feels like you're wanting someone to cure this for you... some issues are a genuine mystery. I work in i.t. and some problems are massive head scratchers.... but 42114 comes with a massive instruction manual?! Step by step with pictures...

I think you need to take ownership of this modest issue and work it out... (unless you're 12 of course, and in which case i apologise )

Not to be rude but in 7 days since this topic was opened, the OP could easily take apart and rebuild this set several times, this time carefully paying attanetion to the isntructions, especially position of the wave selector and "that pink thing". Sorry, there is no easy, magical solution to your issue, you have to go back and rebuild it properly.

@Jgooffer, I'm sorry. I don't know what else i can do. The only advice i can give and what already suggested by others, is that you start over again and pay close attention to the instructions. Good luck!

So I went back over this for days ,

when I hit sync the module moves to 6 o’clock and the dump mechanism works

after that it goes to 3 o’clock then 12 o’clock then 9 o’clock in all 3 modes of the tranny the rear wheels turn and the engine turns but not the front wheels

I’m thinking front diff ... is there something different about how it is constructed? I can see the crown wheel turn on one side the other side is obscured by the red out side gear that the power comes in on... I’m thinking I have to check it first

There really is nothing else anyone can do... other than build it for you. Take it to pieces then rebuild and follow the instructions closely. I don't want to be too harsh as you might be 8 yrs old, in which case keep trying, its a valuable life lesson, but if you're over 15?! Might be the wrong hobby for you!!!:roflmao:

My guess is that
a) one of the 12tooth bevel gears is is missing inside the differential OR
b) one of the axles not fully inserted into differential
Thus force would be -undetecably- directly to the idle (not connected) output of the front axle.

Did you check if thee differential of the front axle is driven by the motor = rotating when truck is in drive mode?
