amazing, svelte-corps! great MOC, i love the hidden underground passage! this is the best one for me so far. and you know who Felicity reminds me of? The girl from that one 007 movie... ugh, i cant think of the name... but the one with the huge pipe, and Bond goes to this nuclear testing area, goes skiing with the girl, and the princess is the bad guy who blew up the pipes to kill Bond... and M had to come to the mission... help me out here guys!

Batbrick could tell you - he's the Bond expert. The Agents line inspired him to watch all the films again so it must be fresh in his mind

Elektra King, daughter of Sir Robert King, major oil tycoon. While the film is not the best I personally believe her to be one of the best villains of the recent films.

, thanks, I love 007 films so much, and Agents!

Batbrick Away!

yes, thats the movie, but not the girl. Im talking about the good one. And whats the movie called? I want to say Octopussy, but tats wrong... thanks, BatBrick. And sorry for getting off topic.

...i wonder if anyone is going to enter a 7 wonders of the world indy movie? i bet that would be interesting.:sweet:

I think you are referring to Christmas Jones (played by Denise Richards) from The World is Not Enough (in my opinion Pierce Brosnan's best Bond film).

Posted

yes! thats it! The World is Not Enough was the movie i was thinking of, thank you. :sweet: so yeah, Felicity in your story, svelte-corps, reminds me of that girl that was in TWINE. the one with 007, the one who deactivated the bomb (almost).

Wow! :oh: Nice entry, svelte Corps! You might just have my vote! :sweet: The story sounds more like an episode from some kind of Indy TV show or something than a movie plot, though. :sceptic: But that's fine as it is quite well written!

The MOC is great, especially that Silver Swan! It's kind of odd that it doesn't have a body, but since it's supposed to be a piece of art of sorts, that's not important. Besides, it's still fantastic to look at! :sweet: All the functions, details, and hidden areas of the piece are great as well! Good job!

Btw, I've made up my mind  : My movie is called "Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Philosopher's Stone"! I already know an interesting location for the stone to be hidden that I can build! :sweet: It's not gonna be a MOC as great as some of yours  but I think it should turn out nicely :classic: ... if I can get it done in time that is... :look:

And you know what else? I think it's a good thing that Nadroj entered his ant-MOC! The fact that he entered an old MOC will decrease his number of votes!

Sorry, SirNadroj, but you're just a too darn good MOCer!

I like your MOC, Matn, but the story was a little hard to follow and short. How does it end? What are the other two tasks? otherwise, great idea.

To avoid any time zone confusions, there is 2 days to go as of this post. Tomorrow I will go though all the entries and confirm that they conform with the rules. Thus it could be smart to check back here in the next day or two to ensure that your entry is good.

Thanks everyone for entering. :sweet:

Aaagh! I should get the camera working, and post my entry, quick! :sing:

I just went though the entries and I feel motivated for some reason to remind people of this rule...

Pictures should be less than 800x600. Images bigger than that could be deleted depending on how grumpy I get.

I might note that this isn't just a competition rule, it's a site rule. I'm not grumpy enough to disqualify entires... but I will probably end up taking a few votes off any one with an image above 1000x1000.

The reason for this rule is simple politeness; people want to be able to view the entries as fast as possible, and they can't if they need to download 12 2000x2000 images. Remember, there's still over a day to reduce the images.

Aside from that one complaint I can't see any other problems and I'm looking forward to the voting! :sweet:

Hi! I'm finishing up my entry right now and I have a question:

Do loose minifig body parts such as a severed head count as a whole minifig?

Phew! I managed to submit my entry - Indiana Jones and the Serpent Altar of Quetzalcoatl. Please check it out! :sweet:

There are so many great entries, it's going to be a tough contest. I certainly don't expect to win.

Nice entry, Oky Wan! But you'd better hurry, I think the contest ends in a few hours... great MOC though, i might vote for it, but svelte corps's is awesome too... desicions, desicions... :sadnew:

Thanks, Jim! :sweet: Yes, as you can see, I have just made it to enter too! Whew!

Well the voting is over, and we have a winner; svelte_corps with 36 points! (Runners up were Batbrick at 26 and Oky Wan Kenobi with 23.) Congrats svelte_corps for not only being a good reviewer but a good MOCist as well!

Oh, and 75% of the voter thought SlyOwl's MOC was odd. I want some of what he's having...

EDIT: My maths sux in the morning...
