May 27, 20213 yr Author This model in the new photo is identical to the one we all saw in the previous box art leak. So nothing to see here people; move along as usual. Edited May 27, 20213 yr by Ngoc Nguyen
May 28, 20213 yr Why is there a pneumatic control valve next to the outrigger? I thought that the outriggers were using linear actuators.

I'm thinking that the pneumatic hoses are connected to the valve inside the truck - remember where the attachment points are. And then those hoses go into the rams on the arm. The MLAs are probably controlled by gears that can't be seen from this angle, or are secreted under an opening panel. EDIT: There are two black gears on the side of the truck with indicator stickers above. They seem to relate to the tilt-rotator, I don't know how though. Edited May 28, 20213 yr by Maaboo35
June 3, 20213 yr Looks great. Not useless license. Great funktions and price is alright! Edited June 3, 20213 yr by Coolusername
June 3, 20213 yr That was probably a prototype. It didn't even had the orange tubes on the hooks. Can't wait to mod it. Some holes need to be filled. Lightbar trans-orange pieces i want to be 2 plates thick. Crane need to be lower. And iam glad the crane can be rotated.
June 3, 20213 yr Am I the only one who thinks that the front fenders look weird? To much of a gap? Was thinking this piece https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x346#T=C but I don’t think it’s perfect to fix the gap Edited June 3, 20213 yr by User5346
June 3, 20213 yr What are those squarish pieces on the fuel tank? I think it might have 4 pneumatic cylinders. One small and one big to lower the rear arm and frame thingy, and one small and one big fro the crane
June 3, 20213 yr Altough it’s very realistic to have a kind of special paint on the stickers, but I’m not sure I like it... I liked the older stickers better. But of course you don’t have to apply them, that’s the upside of stickers! Btw, I only see this now, there are side AND rear outtrigers, very nice! Edited June 3, 20213 yr by Rebel_Lego
June 3, 20213 yr Does the crane sits strangely high up? Anyway, looking good, it appears we have a winner for this year. I just bought the hovercraft, so getting this will add a lot of orange paneling and other parts to my collection too.
June 3, 20213 yr Is that upper pneumatic cylinder that narrow one 21828c01 from the arocs. the length could be right, sits on the same extention part....
June 3, 20213 yr I like the new design. The picture of the giant with the car looks more japanese than american. We can see the pneumatic pump behind the cabin. I hope that they will include instructions to use a motor instead (like 42053). Is there more functionalities than what is shown on the 3 small pictures? - There seem to be a gear or turntable under the crane. - One of the sticker seems to show that we can move a wheel axis up and down. - The blue part at the back seems to be able to move up and down but I don't know what is its usage.

June 3, 20213 yr This one looks pretty cool, and pretty complete function-wise, with a lot of mechanical AND pneumatic functions. I especially like the possibility to lift the first pair or rear wheels (sticker above the second gear on the right). The pneumatic pump seems to be located behind the cab. I hope it has a working fake-engine as well...
June 3, 20213 yr Now 100% this set has 3 cylinder. But I can find only 2 switch. where is last one? And looks like this set include white 5L half thick liftarm on driver door. And not 100% shore but string reel looks like black color. If this is right, that part in black is first. Edited June 3, 20213 yr by msk6003
June 3, 20213 yr This looks really good. The pump does look like it might be a pain to get to. I assume it's meant to be accessed from the side since the light bar and crane (when fully raised) are in the way from the top. I don't remember how much force is needed to push it down from 42053. I wonder about a child being able to push it down repeatedly with an extended finger like that.

June 3, 20213 yr Author This set is a trove of treasure for Technic fans - 4 manual functions - 3 pneumatic functions - 4+ mini LAs - 3 cylinders + 3 valves + 1 pump - 1 gear rack - 1 turntable Imagine all the possibilities for B models!
