MattZitron Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 Sorry if someone's asked this, but does the long boat fit in the base? If not how many of the small boats do? Can we see pictures? Also where do babies come from? Matt Quote
christopher110 Posted July 13, 2005 Author Posted July 13, 2005 Sorry if someone's asked this, but does the long boat fit in the base?If not how many of the small boats do? Can we see pictures? Also where do babies come from? Matt 1) No, the Viking Ship is too long to fit into the fortress. The ship is 22" long and the space inside the fortress is only 13" at most. 2) Only two small boats can fit it comfortably either horizontally or vertically. 3) Regarding the baby. . . do you mean the baby dragon. It comes with the Viking Fortress (7019). The prison/cage inside the Viking Fortress is to lock it up. 4) What pictures do you wish to view? Quote
SuvieD Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 I think he means babies as in human babies. In which case I will quickly explain the "birds and the bees." 1. A bird must fly around and eat a lot. 2. A bee must go and drink nectar from a flower. 3. The bird must :$ relieve itself :$ near the bee as to make the bee nervous. 4. The nervous bee will start to shake releasing the little stickies that stuck to him when he drank the nectar. 5. The stickies fall down onto the grass and cause a reaction which makes the grass belch up spores. 6. These spores make people feel sick and get scratchy, they also make babies start grow in their mommies tummy. 7. After the sickness and scratching goes away and the baby grow into something near the size of a soccer ball the mommy has it taken out of her belly. :) And that my friends is the birds and the bees! ;) Oh yeah, great review, I am really excited for these. :oD Quote
christopher110 Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 :oD I didn't expect he would ask that kind of question . . . . . . :$ So, I misunderstood . . . . . . Quote

SuvieD Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Oooh, really. I will trade or buy anyones KK2 swords for $0.10 a piece. The more you have the easier it is to trade or sell them to me. Nothing about the Viking sets is bothersome to me. I really like everything. Quote

MattZitron Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 The pics I'd like to see are 2 small boats in the base, and one of a long boat partically docked, with the front sticking out of the front. And a picture of Eliza Dushku covered in whipped cream. Matt P.S: When I said babies, I meant the small bald things that seem to have larger genitals than me. Quote

I'm sorry to tell you that I don't have two small boats. However, I still took some pictures just to illustrate that two small boats can be fitted into the fortress either horizontally or vertically To be honest with you, I don't really understand your request for the 2nd pic. (Sorry, English is my 2nd language). So, I'll answer to what I guessed you were asking for. Do you mean you want to see how the front part of the ship poking out through the front gate of the fortress because the length of the ship is too long? For the Viking Ship, the front gate of the fortress is neither wide nor tall enough to let the ship to pass through. Regarding the last request of Eliza Dushku, I think you have to ask someone else to get it for you. Quote

christopher110 Posted July 15, 2005 Author Posted July 15, 2005 Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a couple of fortressesesesesesesseses to make it big enough to fit the longboat. :-D You would really need many sets to build a fortress that is big enough for the ship. I wish I have that amount of money. :( Quote

MattZitron Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 ONE LAST QUESTION!!! Which sets come with a Double Bladed Axe? Matt Quote
christopher110 Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 ONE LAST QUESTION!!!Which sets come with a Double Bladed Axe? Matt It comes with the 7019 set. Actually you can modify the single-bladed axe into the double-bladed one yourself. You just have to have extra axe blade to attach to the single-bladed one. And yes, the double-bladed axe consists of two axe blades. Hoping that you'll enjoy your Vikings Sets. Quote
MattZitron Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Cheers dude. I ordered a long boat today. And annoyingly S@H has sold out of the smaller sets. Matt P.S: Did they ever bring out the hammers for the minifigs? Quote
christopher110 Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 I ordered a long boat today. So, u didn't order for the 7019 Viking Fortress? I thought u said u r going to buy a couple of them (though u may have to do some undecent job to earn the $$, :-D just kidding). Enjoy ur longboat then. Quote

christopher110 Posted July 21, 2005 Author Posted July 21, 2005 Finally, 7017 (edited) catapult has arrived in Singapore. I'll go to buy it tomorrow. Hurray........ :-D So, I'll post up the picture review of 7017 (edited) the soonest tomorrow night. Quote
Dr Lucky Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Finally, 7417 catapult has arrived in Singapore. I'll go to buy it tomorrow. Hurray........ :-D So, I'll post up the picture review of 7417 the soonest tomorrow night. Please do. I've been wondering how similar the dragons are. The one from the fortress is fantastic. I'm sure the other will be great too. Quote
christopher110 Posted July 23, 2005 Author Posted July 23, 2005 Here's the picture review of 7017 as I promised before. It has 4 bags of brick, 2 pieces of wing and 1 sticker ( the black-white one is used and the blue-yellow one is extra ???). It has 2 minifigures . . . The Nidhogg dragon is almost the same as the Fafnir dragon from 7019. Its head is identical as the Fafnir's However, its neck, body and tail is shorter than the Fafnir dragon. Overall, their total length is 30cm and 49cm respectively. Quote
christopher110 Posted July 23, 2005 Author Posted July 23, 2005 Here comes the Viking Catapult . . . There is a seat on the left-hand side. . . The firing mechanism of the catapult is the same as 7018. There are 3 firing bullets. Firstly, the most bottom bullet will be fired...... Then, the whole thing will move down a step and once again, the most bottom bullet will be fired (previously at the middle position)...... Finally, the last bullets will be fired...... Last but not least, the shooting range of the catapult is 120cm or 47.24". Quote
sam89 Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Great review. I really like the dragon and the firing mechanism. If I get any Vikings sets, I think this on will be first. Quote
