tsi Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 (edited) Hi, I would love to bring an article of the German webpage promobricks.de to your attention. It's primary an article about the metroliner set 4558, but it includes some never public shown pictures of prototypes from the 9V developement team in Billund and the showroom of these models. The pictures are from the retired LEGO-Designer Torben Plagborg, the ǵreat article is from Daniel Haedecke. Just one great picture for preview, unfortunately I am not allowed to upload more then 100KB pics. The trains still included 12V motors, because the developement of the 9V motor was not finished. Even the original LEGO Hohenwestedt KÖF ist build as a model ... You'll find more of these sensational pics in the original article, the article is actually only available in German. Have fun reading the article (google translater) and see the great pictures. Greetings ThomaS Edited January 17, 2021 by tsi Quote
deraven Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Thanks for sharing that article, Thomas! Really interesting to see some of those items from the development team. @LEGO Historian - this may be relevant to your work. Some photos and details in here I haven't seen before. Perhaps Torben Plagborg can provide you with more interesting transitional development photos as well! Quote
