Change Eurobricks Header

Can i personalize the header on eurobricks? i thought i could from a long time ago but i'm not sure. Its so hard to see my account name, messages etc. Example:

Also i only have a 100kb limit in my "Attachment" is there another way you put photos

You can't make your own header. In the past you could choose one of the headers we made, but I am not sure this option still exists.

We are working on moving the forum to a new server. After that, we will be working on creating new skins/themes.

The paperclip/upload option on Eurobricks that you're talking about is only for very small images to be used in your signature line, etc., here on the board.  For sharing photos of MOCs and whatnot, you'll want to use a 3rd party service and I think most folks would recommend Flickr, if not using a Lego-focussed image hosting service.

Thanks i do have 3rd party, however occasionaly on other boards i may just snip something to post and its a hassle to show something if i have to always upload to 3rd party, but no worries i already use flickr

Dont care if this is a strike for resurrecting an old thread - I still can't change the header in my previous post 3 years later. Please let me know how i can get rid of this crazy easter looking photo that doesnt let me read the text in the top.

@natesroom go to the very bottom of the page on the main forum level, there you should have the option to choose a theme to another one:

 

You should have still selected the Spring_2018 which has the fancy header... the Shadowlands 2021 is the one with the regular and more calm header image.

OMG this is great!!!!! i cant believe ive been stuck with this for 5 years.

I had no idea there were multiple themes.
Would really love to see a dark theme though, white backgrounds give me a horrible headache and third party apps forcing dark mode aren't always working well with every website. If I can somehow contribute to making that happen I would be happy to (25 years Photoshop experience can be useful).

I might take you up on that. We are always looking for people to help out. We will be upgrading the forum software next year and we were planning to change the main header as well. If we can create a light and dark mode version that would be great. Any html/css skills? Or just Photoshop?

@JesseNight To add to the dark mode: As Jim already told we are looking into upgrading the whole platform & find a solution there aswell - I already created a working proof of concept JS/CSS switch for testing purposes - but it may interfere with some special board like the Pirates Board with the highly customized theme.

Photoshop is something I can most definitely do.
My html/css skills are very limited and outdated, and I don't know how much time I'll have to brush up on that since it's been a long time since I've used that. So I cannot make any promises on that one. I probably can still understand it if I see it, but not make something from scratch anymore at this point.

It'll just need the right adjustments and I can probably try something on the graphic part. I'll have a look at it soon, just might not be until after Christmas.

We can creatte a dark theme which won’t affect the Pirates theme. We simply can make a separate theme.

The Pirates theme is indeed awesome!! However, for the regular themes we tend to keep it simple hehe. What we basically need is just a banner to work with.

Sure, I'll be around! Busy times with the holidays but I'll be around either way.
