sigpro Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 A long time ago...in a Lego Shop in Madrid, far, far away... I took my little cat to show it, and we had a camera...this the first of the pics we took. A cross section. Three decks. 5 speeder bikes. 52 soldiers on board (2 drivers, 1 gunner/deck officer, 1 Officer/gunner, 1 deck officer, 42 stormtroopers and 5 scout troopers. Weapons for everybody. 5 missile launchers. 3 heavy cannons. Enjoy. Quote
Future74 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Great work! I (almost) feel sorry for all the dead stormies in episode V, when it gets towed down and shot by snowspeeders. Quote
Bricks Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 First could you resize the picture and insert it into your post Topic: This is really an amazing creation. I love how you've done the interior with the little room's. So thanks for sharing! 'Bricks' Quote
the lord of the brick Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) It's great to see your AT-AT here. Now you must show the imperial base http://img177.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc02096gm8.jpg Edited April 1, 2009 by the lord of the brick Quote

Future74 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Great pictures! It's huge! It dwarves the old design Quote
Vimes Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Fantastic work! Awe inspiring. One could imagine, why the AT-AT was supposed to break through enemy opposition, carrying squads of imperial troopers and light vehicles, when looking at your model. Great job! Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 That is awesome and huge!!! I want one, gimme gimme gimme!!! /5 Quote
sigpro Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 Some new funny pics of the AT AT. A cold morning in a snowy planet...daily morning roll call... The stormtrooper thinks nobody saw him... But the officer is not silly... And they are punished... Hope it was fun!! Greetings. Quote
pjschard Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Absolutely gorgeous! So much effort put into it and it shows! Quote
mortesv Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Very nice work! I really like the scale :) How big is this -Height - Width? How many bricks have you used so far? :) Quote
sigpro Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Hi again!!! "The Cat”. Well, “The Cat” strikes back!!! During a long time in Africa, I decided to make some improvements in the At-At. Those improvements were: -to cover with tiles as much surface as I could. Due to the fact that this At-At is covered with plates, in some areas I couldn´t use tiles to cover the studs. -to enlarge the central area of the hull in 1 stud. This allowed more room inside and the covering would be easier to build, because the central area would be 18 studs long and 18 is an “easier” number to make combinations of plates and tiles. -to decrease the number of troops inside. In fact, now I have 8 troops in the lower deck, bow. 11 troops in the middle deck, bow. 14 troops in the middle deck, center. 11 troops in the top deck. With 4 inside the cockpit, that makes…48 troops. More than stated in the SW books. And, of course, 5 speeder bikes. Pictures!!!! The cockpit, with all the panes removed. As you may remember, 2 drivers, 1 gunner-troop commander and 1 gunner-deck officer. General Veers aiming at the Echo Base Generators The final orders to the Snowtrooper Commander Details of the roof, with the aiming device. Now, inside the beast… Bow, lower and middle deck. The emergency hatches can be seen. Detail of the fire extinguishers and emergency lights Center, middle and upper deck. The speeder bikes can be seen also. Rear, with the speeder bikes and a free space that can be used for many purposes (more troops, a galley, toilets, beds...) Close up of the speeder bikes. Ready to go in 5 minutes. Rack for personal weapons A last image before adding the covering Now, the AT-AT with everything Hope you like the improvements!!!! Quote
Fuppylodders Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I certainly do, just for the sheer amount of stuff you have going on with it =D I always loved the head interior you did, especially that aiming device! I may have to borrow that idea to put it on my AT-AT if you wouldn't mind :P I remember looking at your AT-AT when building mine and thinking 'one day I'll have one as big as this =D' Quote
sigpro Posted December 24, 2012 Author Posted December 24, 2012 Hi! Sorry for answering so late! You can take any ideas for your At-At. Another brother for my At-At is always welcome! Merry Christmas too! Quote
Fuppylodders Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Mine was finished in October, although I still love looking at the pics of yours, it is different in so many ways yet just looks brilliantly executed! sigpro Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 Funny pics of my AT-AT and a "sister" we have for a few days. Now you will understand why I call my AT-AT "the cat". Enjoy! The AT-AT is paying no attention to the lovely pussycat walking around. So many detection devices and the AT-AT doesn´t even move his head... But the pussycat insists... The pussycat thinks...What strange ears and moustache this cat has!!! Is the AT-AT her mum? And this short story finishes with a kiss. As you see, our pets and legos are able to live together. Enjoy! Merry Christmas! Quote
deanorth Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 ha ha ha ha:) adorable, thanks for sharing those pics:))) Quote
