I AM DELETING THIS COLUM BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE MAKING FUN OF ME AND INSULTING ME.

THANK YOU FOR READING

I don't think anyone wants to make fun of you or insult you.

But it is a bit unusual that you say you have such an amount of money at your disposal to spend on Lego. Many pll will never own that much money in their entire lifetime. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but it's a huge mount of money. I couldn't spend that much money on Lego unless I sold my house.

Well, I think most of us are missing a vital point here. Assuming these dollars are of the Zimbabwean variety, I think this amount of money to spend on plastic toys is certainly obtainable. I imagine our friend very well could have found his way to a bureau de change while carrying one shiny American penny in his pocket. It is possible he then asked for the corresponding amount in ZWD, paid a small transaction fee, et voilà! Thee hundred and seventy thousand dollars with an extra five million to spare!

Good luck with that.

Buy your army and then display it here, but this thread really isn't achieving much. If not, we will all assume that you haven't got $350,000 to spend on Lego.

I have already reported someone for insulting me and thinking I am a lier. I will report you if I have too. Be aware that I come from a wealthy family.

I'm sure nobody means to insult you Kinzcove. But you did say you're ordering 1000 soldiers on Bricklink and that's not possible because like Imperial Shadows pointed out theres only 159 redcoats, and 288 bluecoats at the moment.

But if you're serious, then here are some Soldier eBay auctions for you to win:

eBay Auction 1

eBay Auction 2

That'll get you at least 26 more Soldiers if you win.

As for insulting, by "good luck with that", I was referring to the fact that Vassals can't delete or close threads, so no offence intended :pir-wink:

And we'll believe you once you've got the army, but we've given you all the sites we know, so it's natural to be sceptical when someone claims to be willing to spend that much money. :pir-classic:

I guess my phrasing wasn't perfect :pir-blush:

Perhaps you could provide us with your Bricklink username to confirm...

I don't think Kinzcove needs to prove himself to us. We'll just kindly provide him with links and such, and if none of the Soldiers are purchased we'll know he's not genuine.

I'm going to post a few pics I have. I'm not buying like them all from bricklink but also other sites. So i'll keep you guys posted! See ya tommorow!

Agreed!

This gives me a chuckle.

I hope this joker doesn't buy up too many soldiers (if indeed he buys any)... there's enough of a damned shortage as it is.

Ease off on the insulting Mr. Strat.

It may be hard to believe people, but there are others who have deep pockets that have a love for lego.

Legopirate83 appears to have large amounts of money to spend on the brick having 3 50-gallon containers full of unsorted bricks.

And by the looks of his large creation, the Dos Mas Cervezas, i have no reason to doubt his claim.

So with that being said, it may take a couple of weeks for Mr. Kinzcove to start receiving the loads of cannons, and men that he desires to purchase.

Until then, we have no reason to make fun of or insult Mr. Kinzcove!

Also, to Mr. Kinzcove:

In the past, ppl usually don't appreciate it when others say how much money they have to spend on the lego, whether it be $375 or $375,000.

To me it is a shows a lack of maturity. In hind sight, i think just saying "you can easily afford the desired cannons and M-Fs" would have sufficed and leave it at that.

I think most people don't believe it/ are sceptical, since it is very unusual to want 1.000 soldiers, just like that, starting from scratch (?) and having a budget like that (which is a lot more than sufficient to buy them, unless the fort is going to be gigantic+ you may want loads of ships), at least if we're talking can, aus or us $.

It's just not an everyday occurance, since army-builders usually expand their armies over many, many years to reach that number.

But I would really like to see some pictures of the work in progress and finished work if it's true, because it is always nice to see a huge army (especially if it almost dwarfs the already very impressive armies on here).

Well until some of my soldiers come I am using these tri corner hats I found in my lego draws and some guns and suits and creating my own kind of soldiers.

  • 1 month later...

I wonder if Mr. Kinzcove ever got his 1,000 French soldiers? Even if he had $375 million it would be hard to find 1,000 Imperial minifigs. Too bad he is banned, I would like to see the progress he's made. But then again, I'm also hoping he isn't for real because he could definitely raise up the price of Imperial minifigs and make it a lot harder then it already is to collect them.
