LEGO Football - Kinetic Sculpture

Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in the world watched by hundreds of millions of people all over the world. To celebrate the love for this sport, I built this kinetic sculpture of a football player running the ball near the sideline.

Lovely model! I really like kinetic sculpture especially when they are executed as well as this one. Very unique idea. It's a shame that your MOC has not got the attention it clearly deserves.

I am not sure it is the biggest sporting event in the world.  In fact, I am not sure it breaks the top three.  

But... i do love football and your model is great.  Looks kinda like Tom Brady.... though I know it can't be Tom Brady..... he would never stiff-arm ... lol....

Ok, maybe you're right :D A Football World Cup or the Olympic Games may involve more viewers. But compared to the number of countries involved in the competition it should be the biggest one :D

 

At first, I went to build Mahomes, but it was hard to do his number 15 in the front and back. Then I founf the 2x2 tiles with the '2' and thought they would be perfect for the shoulder pads. So I ended up building a generic football player with number 2 in a kit that slightly reminds of the Chiefs :D
