The only examples I think of are one/two battle packs that coincide with the release of something new film wise. Ten? The fact we have 4 likely $15 sets all with the same size box suggests they’re all the same ‘type’. Unless they’re a hybrid between minifigure and battle packs I don’t see them being army builder type at all. Oh, yes, I see what you mean now. I agree that it makes sense they're related, I just find the numbering curious. Like I said, I'm probably overanalyzing, but once I saw that first pattern, I had to keep digging into all of the times they've done some sort of "sub series" in the last decade or so, prompting that long post Quote

The only other solution is that the separate set number is actually a minifigure pack, whilst the other 3 are related in some way. Quote
Kit Figsto Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 On the topic of minifigure packs, this got me thinking about possible 3 figure packs I'd like to see at some point in the future, if they continue doing them: Stormtroopers - 3 regular OT stormtroopers. The build is probably some kind of turret. Sandtroopers - 3 Sandtroopers, two with orange pauldron, one with black. Also includes one of the little probe droids on a clear stand. Build is some sort of command station. Endor Imperial Troopers - 2 Scout Troopers and one Imperial trooper. Build is the desk inside of the shield bunker. Endor Rebel Troopers - 3 Endor Rebel troopers (maybe one is Nik Sant). Build is a small tree with a rock catapult. Ewoks - 3 Ewoks (maybe Logray, Chief Chirpa, and Wicket). Build is similar to the one above, maybe something representing one of the log traps they use? Rebel Fleet Troopers - 3 Rebel fleet troopers. Build is a door that can lift up, as a way to represent the opening of ANH. Scarif Troopers - 2 Shoretroopers and one Death Trooper. Build is the landing pad command station. Scarif Rebel Troopers - 3 Rebels. Build is a couple of crates and a palm tree. Jabba's Palace Guards - 1 Gamorrean, 1 Nikto, 1 Weequay. Build is a smaller version of the cannon on top of Jabba's Sail Barge. Geonsian Warriors - 2 Winged Geonosians, 1 without wings. Build is a miniature version of those circular Geonosian cannons. Gungan Warriors - 2 Gungans + Captain Tarpals. Build is one of the catapults from the Battle of Naboo. Quote

I would add a few more PT figure packs and a couple show related ones as well but for the OT (and the few PT ones) this is a great list. Some ideas I had were: Separatist Leadership - Count Dooku + Nute Gunray + either Poggle the Lesser or Wat Tambor. Build is holotable with Death Star plans on it that we see in AOTC. Naboo - Padme (in her queen outfit) + Sabé + either Governer Sio Bibble or Captain Typho. Build is the queen’s throne. Jedi Younglings - Three Jedi younglings, could do a dual molded piece with an alien head with helmet combo or just three human Jedi younglings. Build is a Jedi council seat. Jedi Temple Guards - Three generic Jedi temple guards that use the lightsaber piece that people have suggested for Maul. The lightsaber blade piece on either side is a 3 long rod instead of 4 long. Not sure of the build here. Imperial Leadership - Grand Moff Tarkin + Grand Admiral Thrawn + Admiral Piett. Build is a conference table. Notable 501st troopers - ARC Trooper Fives + ARC Trooper Echo + too many to choose from: Hardcase, Jesse, Dogma, Vaughn. Build is a turret(?) Hoth Heroes - Hoth Luke + Hoth Leia + Hoth Han. Build is the micro scale shield generator for Echo Base. Endor Heroes - Endor Luke (camo outfit) + Endor Han (camo outfit) + Endor Leia (end of movie outfit). Build is the fire Han and Luke get roasted over Geonosian Arena - Episode 2 Anakin + Arena Padme + Episode 2 Obi-Wan. Build is the top of the poles they are chained to Jango’s Death - Jango Fett + Young Boba + Mace Windu. Idk about the build for this either I’ve run out of ideas. Let me know what you think. Quote
ArrowBricks Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) Here’s the current rumour list for the summer. Two sets numbers are missing and I have gone off of the fact that these have been missed off and thus don’t exist. 75358 $39.99, 4+, 124 pieces (June) 75359 $24.99 108 pieces 75360 $34.99, 8+, 253 pieces 75362 9+, (September) $79.99 75363 6+ $14.99, 88 pieces 75364 9+, (September) $99.99 75365 8+ $159.99, 1067 pieces 75366 6+, $44.99, 320 pieces (Advent C) 75368 6+, 139 pieces, $14.99 75369 6+, 155 pieces $14.99 75370 6+, 138 pieces $14.99 75371 (September) $199.99, 18+, 2320 pieces (75361 and 75367 - missing) 75358 - June release which is strange, so I think this is the rumoured Young Jedi Adventurers show (although I haven’t seen this rumour concrete so it sounds like it’s the usual YouTubers pretending they’re ITK). BUT, I don’t think they would price it this way. So, I’ll assign it the set number below which I think is a 4+ too. For this set, I think it might be B-Wing, or a Desert Skiff. 75359 - Young Jedi Adventurers 75360 - Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor: Ahsoka Tano, R4 75362 - September release, therefore, I think it will be from the Ahsoka show. 75363 - Endor Minifigure Pack - Endor Rebel Commando, Endor Rebel Soldier (x2). My final prediction means I have gone for Endor. 75364 - Again, a September release, so I am leaning towards Ahsoka series. I think as the expensive of the two main September releases this will be a Jedi Shuttle 75365 - I think there are so many options: - Jabba’s Sail Barge - Republic Gunship - Luthen Rael’s Fondor Haulcraft - Ahsoka’s Jedi Shuttle I think the first, is the most likely given the ROTJ anniversary and a Boba Fett Throne Room and a rumoured Palace Quote set. Huttslayer Leia anyone? I would assume 1/2 new aliens, maybe Saelt-Marae(?). 75366 - Either a Clone Wars or ROTJ theme. 75368, 9, 70 - The big mystery. I think they’re all of the same type. The most obvious are Mech’s. I would predict: Ahsoka Tano, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader. Beyond this, I have not got a clue. Definitely not an increased-priced Microfighters. 75371 - Endor Bunker, Generator, and Radar Dish. Loads of figures, small Ewok Traps, speeder bikes. Not sure about an AT-ST, though. Interested to hear everybody’s thoughts and predictions! Edited January 8, 2023 by ArrowBricks Quote

I don’t see why any ROTJ sets would be released in September, except for the largest set of the wave. In fairness, I have still predicted an Endor Minifigure Pack, a Jabba’s Sail Badge, and an Endor Bunker MBS style. So not awful! Quote
Legoman123 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 A minifigure that I would actually love to see would be a new Darth Vader with a 3 piece helmet, it'd be awesome to be able to remove the top of the helmet then the face covering, it actually surprises me that this hasn't been done yet. Along with that I'd actually like to see a moulded cape, similar to Dr Strange, even if it's included in a one off set. Quote

I think there is a video of the Lego office and you can see it in that. Would of been really neat to get and I'm not sure why they never actually released it. Quote

There's a lot of sets we've seen models of that never released for some reason or another. IIRC there's an AT-UT, at least the beasts from the geonosis arena, a clone walker, etc. Empire Strikes Back Wave: Millenium Falcon ($9.99): Han Solo (black jacket) TIE bomber ($9.99): TIE pilot Snowspeeder vs AT-AT ($19.99): Dak Ralter and AT-AT pilot. tiny ion cannon build on the side. Battle Packs: Bespin Occupation ($14.99): 3x stormtrooper, 1x imperial officer. Comes with an E-web on some bespin terrain. Defense of Bespin ($14.99): 3x wing guard, 1x cloud car pilot. There's a play feature to "cut" wires that drop down on vader. Cloud Car ($34.99): Cloud Car with 1x cloud car pilot, Lobot, 1x stormtrooper, and Lando Calrissian. Escape from Bespin ($44.99): Junkyard room hallway, and open area with table and fountain. Comes with Chewbacca (new mold with studs on back that fits C-3PO's head and torso), Leia (white jumpsuit), Boba Fett, and 2x ugnaught. Ion Cannon ($69.99): Massive ion cannon build (built into snowbank) with interior control room. Comes with 2x hoth rebel trooper, general Riekann, 2x snowtrooper, and Hoth Luke. Slave One ($139.99): Largest non-UCS slave one model yet, with interior cockpit and cargo bay. Comes with Carbonite Han, Boba Fett, Bespin Leia, 2x stormtrooper, and 2x wing guard. Nebuleon-B ($159.99): Nebuleon-B model with interior bridge, medbay, and engine room. Comes with Medbay Luke, Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Medical droid, and 2x rebel crew. MBS: Echo Base ($349.99): Massive Echo Base, primarily the interior. Rooms include the Bay Doors, command center, medical bay, hanger, hallway, tauntaun stables, and the wampa door from the deleted scene. Comes with 4x hoth rebel trooper, Bacta Luke, Hoth Han, Hoth Leia, Chewbacca, General Riekann, 2x hoth crew, Major Derlin, Dak Ralter, Wedge Antilles, C-3PO, K-3PO, R-3PO, R2-D2, a treadwell droid, wampa, 2x snowtrooper, and probe droid. Qoute sets: I am your father ($59.99): The iconic "no, I am your father" scene. Sort of a remake of the limited release set from 2020 in the qoute style. Comes with Luke and Vader. The Bounty Hunters arrive ($89.99): Star Destroyer Bridge with Admiral Piett, Boba Fett, Dengar, IG-88, Bossk, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss. Qoute is "Bounty Hunters. We don't need their scum." Quote

icm Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 I want a U-55 Load Lifter, which is the potato-shaped shuttle from TLJ. It would be a good addition to the line of $80-$100 shuttle-like sets that includes the Tydirium (2015), the Krennic (2016), the Imperial Landing Craft (2018), the I-TS Transport (2020), the Bad Batch (2021), and the Scythe (2022) … and the Galaxy Explorer (2022) and the Quinjet (2023), but those are different themes. I think that price point has been very good in the past few years with clever, detailed builds that are a great size for swooshing and play, together with a good minifig selection of named characters (or Classic Spacemen). Resistance Shuttle, 969 pieces, $100 USD. Five minifigs: Leia in her TLJ dress, Holdo in hers, Poe on a stretcher, Rose, an unnamed Resistance pilot. Build features lots of interior space, a boarding door with ramp on the side, four fixed landing skids underneath like the Scythe. No side build, all the parts go into the ship. I know it’s not the most memorable or exciting craft, but it’s the sequel trilogy vehicle that hasn’t already been made that I’ve wanted most since the movie came out. I also really want the Imperial cargo shuttle from Rogue One, but that’s not part of the sequel trilogy and it would require a $150-$170 price point. Quote

Yeah, I also am really gearing towards more types of shuttles with spacious interiors to transport minifigures into battle. That's why I was so excited when the Scythe was revealed. I feel that I would rather have The Raddus in terms of Resistance ships though. It is kind of the main ship, and it was frequently used in the original trilogy as well. Plus I would love to see how TLG could recreate the Mon Calamarian designs. Quote

Heck, there's more Galaxy's Edge-specific sets I'd like in addition to that one-off IT-S Transport. The ship has sailed for these since everyone kinda forgot the mediocre show, but there were some Resistance characters and sets I feel like we should have gotten as well. It's mostly minifigs that I feel are missing from the films themselves. More of Leia's outfits, TROS Rose, both versions of TROS Palpatine, the third type of Praetorian Guard, Babu Frik, Crait Luke and more alien figures/extras. There are a few sets I could think of though on top of some of what's been mentioned. More First Order TIE Variants: the standard FO TIE (we only got the Special Forces version), the TIE Whisper and the FO TIE Bomber (technically more associated with Resistance). An Exegol playset is probably the biggest thing we're missing from this trilogy. I'm surprised at how little TROS Palpatine and especially how little Ben Solo merchandise we've gotten. There's tons of cool MOCs depicting how Lego could do this scene that I'd love to see become a reality. The fact that we're getting a second ROTJ Final Duel set in three years makes me wish that we just got this in the Summer 2020 wave. Ochi's Ship. This set had a decent amount of screen time in TROS and is an interesting enough design, plus it could give us some more scene-specific variants of the ST characters (Rey, Finn and Poe in their Kajimi coats) and possibly a Threepio variant (red eyes or Kijimi coat). Also, I think we'll probably get some quote/diorama sets in the next few years since the OT should be pretty well covered in that line after the ROTJ diorama wave in May. Quote

It's so obvious at that price point, it almost must have been pitched already? Never thought of it! The ion Cannon could easily be made, relatively cheap with these new pieces: Insert a play (shooting) feature, build some landscape around it, include some nice figures... Should be do-able at a relatively low budget. But somehow, I'm afraid there won't be enough appeal for such a set. The Nebulon B frigate is really something Lego must make, it's such an interesting design. I believe they will one day as an UCS since it was included in the poll for the gunship. Considering its shape, I don't see it as a system set though. It will be inherently hard to play with/swoosh... (I'm saying this as a big fan of system sets as opposed to overly expensive UCS sets that could as well have been smaller affordable system versions, that were affordable for kids.) Quote

I think it looks unique and the Lando figure can pretty much only exist in this set. I reckon it translates into a good toy too… The Republic Gunship most likely would be from Episode 2, of course. Loads of scope for new figures etc in that era too. Quote

Mandalorianknight Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 (edited) TPM wave. Personally this is the movie I think works worst for lego (While I think TLJ and maybe AOTC are worse movies overall, they both have cooler ship designs in my opinion), but I tried my best to think of sets that could do well: Microfighters: Naboo Starfighter ($9.99, with less chibi engines): Naboo Pilot Sith Infiltrator ($9.99, darker colors): Darth Maul (hooded) Anakin vs Sebulba's Podracers ($19.99): Young Anakin, Sebulba, Pit Droid.
