The only thing is with the strikes will we get Andor and the Acolyte next year? Feel like that is going to affect the summer wave a lot if we are lucky enough to get those kind of sets.

Probably already close to being completed if Lego does plan on releasing sets based off of them. Hence, I reckon they’ll just release them as usual, but the only thing closely resembling the current predicament is the Skywalker Saga game but even then.

Simply, if Lego are going to release such sets, they’re pretty much completely already and I can’t see them changing the release schedule of them despite the potential delays.

Depends on how much the shows get delayed. I highly doubt they’d release sets half a year before the shows air  And as the pandemic has shown, delaying sets is no issue to them at all, from a logistical perspective.

Personally, I think Andor S2 will he delayed to 2025 with The Acolyte taking its autumn spot. Skeleton Crew I’d expect in spring

I agree about the later shows, but I feel that Skeleton Crew has a shot. If it releases in spring 2024, I could definately see them releasing the ship in January.

From what we know of 1HY, Andor and Acolyte sets are likely 2HY, so while any potential sets are likely designed, I don't think they would have started production yet.

The problem if you delay these sets is you leave a vacuum for when they were meant to be released and then you potentially have too many sets to release the following year and end up having to decide what/if to cancel.

That hasn‘t been a problem for the Marvel theme though, which has been affected by so many delays it‘s not even funny

Also, don‘t forget that we‘re only talking about a small handful of sets here. Skeleton Crew gets one set for its debut (that we know of), Andor will likely only get one again, and The Acolyte one or maybe two. A movie with 5-7 sets being delayed would create a noticeable gap, the shows being shuffled around wouldn‘t.

At this rate, the only clone commander and variant needed to be remade in modern phase 2 design is wolfpack and kashyyyk troopers right? Are there other battalions we could see? What kind of sets could they show up in?

Bly and the 327th is an obvious choice, as well as Neyo and the 91st. Bacara and the 91st (Galactic Marines) seem unlikely at the moment, unfortunately, but they are a highly-requested unit as well. Others, such as the 13th, Canon 187th, 442nd, non-camo 41st (either grey or green variant), are a bit obscure (though that did not stop LEGO from making the Legends 187th!), so I doubt that we will get them anytime soon (if ever). Other Commanders like Grey or Howzer are possible, but would probably not likely either.
I wonder if once LEGO finishes the main P2 Clones and units, they will start making P1s? We do need updated versions of them!

The one type of clone we haven't had so far that I want is an AT-RT driver. A 212th airborne that doesn't cost 50 bucks would be nice too...

Otherwise I agree that P1 clones are sorely lacking. I don't mind getting P2s since I prefer the design anyway, but since 2020 we've had what, two sets with a P1 clone of any sort? And even then, one was impossible to find and the other was in a $350 set.

Bly / 327th / Bacara / Galactic Marines / AT-RT driver / Oddball.

I'm once again begging Lego to make these figures, especially Bacara, Galactic Marines and AT-RT driver. It would be refreshing to have some new helmet pieces other than standard P2 one. After that, Lego can go full OT or ST and I'll never complain.

Aside from clones, some random ideas :

Mimban Troopers BP : Minban stormtrooper*1, regular stor trooper*1, mudtrooper*2 (new helmet mold with goggles/mask integrated)

Baylan's ETA-class shuttle : HK droid*2, Shin Hati with cape, Ahsoka with poncho. I was never a fan of its Clone Wars design, but the live action version is just awesome. So much details, and somehow it reminds me of a beetle.

Random Ahsoka set : anything with updated Sabine. Still don't understand why Lego didn't give her arm-printing. She looks so dim without it.

I'm hopeful for the first time in a while that with it's recent appearance in Ahsoka, we might finally see a playscale Home One. I understand the many difficulties this would pose for designers, it's not an easy shape to capture at all, but to see a Mon Calamari star cruiser appear in any form - even a remake/reimagining of the interior set from '09 would be a win for me. It might catch fans of the OT and newer fans of the Disney+ show? I'm generally worried that going down the higher detail/smaller size route of recent years will be the end of Lego making the larger ships in regular, non-UCS/18+ sets. I like the new Venator, but we're seeing less and less of the larger capital-style ships (I'm aware the Tantive/republic frigates weren't capital ships, but they were made at a similar size, and with similar levels of funtionality) presented in regular sets. The Imperial Light Cruiser and Tantive IV are recent exceptions, but there were pretty steep discounts on the Light Cruiser by the end - even on Lego.com. Would Lego make something like the Malevolence/2014 star destroyer/rebel combat frigate/republic frigate now, with their decent sizes but lower levels of detail compared to modern smaller sets?

I mentioned a month back or so that the Hoopty from Lego Marvel is actually a good example of how many curves and such Lego can do these days, it kind of gave me Mon Cala vibes.

Separate question. Taking Kylo Ren's Shuttle 1.0 vs 2.0 as an example, What ship do you most want Lego to do a second attempt at? I'm thinking less about sets that were fine at the time but need an update and more sets that maybe due to movie secrecy Lego just got wrong, ie the wings on Kylos ship.

For me I think it may have to be the U-Wing. Lego executed the wing gimmic pretty well, but the ships shaping is not that great.

Great question!

Most recently, the Coruscant Gunship (obviously) and the T6 shuttle (two seats and white colour, should be a bit bigger).

I really think the Mandalorian Fighter (2021) was poorly executed too.

That is a good question, and a good answer - if LEGO revisited the U-wing, I think they could improve on it a lot.

From a movie secrecy POV, the Knights of Ren transport is surely one of the most egregious examples. It's a cool ship design that reminds me of a Space Police set, and if they'd just done it in that style I think it would have been great. As was though it just ended up looking like a speeder with no bottom that couldn't transport much at all.

Otherwise, having looked through the back catalogue and bearing in mind design restrictions at the time of release, I'm not sure there are too many that haven't had an update. I don't think LEGO have ever nailed the V-wing design even though they've had multiple cracks at it. IMO they've all been too flat at the front, so that would be my pick.

This any better?

My main goals were better fuselage shaping, wings that close correctly, and fitting the full astromech.

For the excellent moc builders out there, do we think it’s possible an SPHA-T could ever be produced?

Maybe, but I feel like a UT-AT is more likely.

T-70 X-wing; the wings fold incorrectly on the existing versions (overlapping rather than interlocking). Since they are meant to be an old successor to the T-65 by the ST era, we should be seeing them appear in Mandoverse shows soon. Maybe Mando S4, RotNR (if it gets rewritten to focus on characters like Carson and Zeb), Ahsoka S2 (if we get a second season), Filoni's movie, etc?

Something unusual, but not unprecedented (see Harry Potter) and would be very cool to get:

High Republic Jedi Holocron: $65
 - Includes four High Republic Jedi (preferably named) - Two in white Temple Robes and two in brown Mission Robes - and a wide selection of heads, hair, capes, and hoods for customisation.
 - The set would also include a bunch of lightsaber hilts and blades in different colours, as well as a new hilt piece for the HR crossguard sabers.
 - The actual build would be an accurately-scaled (or a bit larger) Jedi Holocron with panels on the sides that can be removed or folded open to allow for storage of the customisation parts.

What i still would like to see is a Pre-Mor battlepack with two regular Pre-Mor inspectors and two Corpos in their riot armor. A private conglomerate ruling a sector is interesting idea imo

Also on my wishlist is a playscale cantina with some of the aliens from the MBS set to go alongside a new playscale Jabba's Palace set.

A Pentraki Arena MBS should be inevitable, but only with molded creatures! What i could imagine is a MBS or big playset with one pillar and one creature, main gate and stands and two add-on packs with another pillar and creatur each. Oh, and a truckload of minifigs!

And i wish we would get more Solo and Rogue One sets! Just something please :cry_happy:

Now that Ahsoka's said and done, I think it would be a good idea to write out a list of what sets I could realistically see us getting from this series down the line.

Night Trooper Battle Pack ($20): Fairly self-explanatory. The build could be virtually anything but the figures could be some of the different variations of Night Troopers we saw in this show. Army building for this set would be great because you can mix and match pieces to create different combinations the more copies you have of the set. Realistically, if we were to get Thrawn's destroyer in the summer of 2024, this set would probably follow in early 2025. Similar to how the Dark Troopers from Mando season 2 were handled.

Noti Pod and Howler ($50): This set could represent the big action scene in Episode 7. The builds would be one of the Noti home/pods and a brick-built version of Sabine's Howler. Minfigures could include reuses of Shin Hati and Sabine (ideally with arm printing this time but probably not...), as well as Ezra Bridger (New!) and a Noti (New!).

Chimera Star Destroyer ($180): Our first play-set ISD in a decade. It'd differentiate itself from the others with some of the gold detailing and damage, not to mention if they were able to do the Chimera markings on the underside. Minifigures would of course include Thrawn (New!), as well as Ahsoka the White (New!), Morgan Elsbeth [with new Nightsister face and sword of Talzin), Captain Enoch (New!) and two Night Troopers.

I think all of that would be sufficient to cover the rest of the season. There's still some stuff I'd like to see that I don't think is realistic, like those two zombie Death Troopers, or are things that could be made for the likely season 2, such as the three Great Mother Nightsisters or a model of the Eta-class shuttle, which now seems to be in Ezra's possession.

Here is a bonus set I'd like to see but don't think is realistic:

Sabine's Speeder Bike ($30): The build would be Sabine's customized speeder bike with some sort of Lothal terrain as a side build. Minifigures could include Lothal Sabine with hair and biker helmet (New!), an HK assassin droid (New!) and a special molded Lothcat (New!)

I like this, I'll give my own. These aren't all meant to focus on super-realism, but I give my thoughts after detailing the set.

Spoiler

Bandit attack ($14.99): A buildible Howler and small rock formation with a small explode feature as if it's splintering after being hit by Bandit fire. Comes with Sabine Wren (armor, no helmet) and 2 bandits. Reasoning: We need more small sets, and even if this one's pretty similar to a battle pack, I think it'd still be great, as well as a good way to get Sabine and her howler for cheap.

Night Trooper Battle Pack ($20): Very similar to yours. 4 night troopers, using at least 2 different torso, helmet, and leg prints. Build would be a bit of that Perida tower. Reasoning: This is obvious. Night Troopers will have a big role to play in future material, so this is less of an if then a when.

New Republic Battle Pack ($20): 2x human NR trooper, 1x NR fleet officer, and 1x NR trooper (molded Mon Calamari head). Build is the bridge chair and a small turret. Reasoning- we probably won't get this until the filoni film but I always liked the battle packs of opposing forces.

Duel on Seatos ($24.99): The Star Map shrine with Ahsoka Tano and Baylan Skoll (updated figure with better hair and shoulder pads). Reasoning: One of the coolest scenes in the show, an easy way to get two of the main characters cheap, and would have that temple and map imagery Ahsoka is defined by.

The Phantom ($39.99): Phantom 2 build with Hera Syndulla, Chopper, and 2x HK-87 droid. Reasoning: The phantom in the ghost set is tiny, and this would also be a nice way to get Hera and Chopper.

Sabine's homestead ambush ($39.99): Sabine's speeder on an 8x16 plate that doubles as a duel area, with a small elevator play feature next to it leading to a small build for Sabine's room. Comes with Sabine Wren (no armor), Shin Hati, a molded Loth-Cat, and an HK-87 droid. Reasoning: Gets us Sabine's unarmored outfit, her speeder- which seems like it should be getting more merch than it is- and a cheap way to get Shin, as well as introducing the HK-87 droid.

The Chimera ($159.99): Thrawn's star destroyer with interior bridge, hanger bay, and cargo hold with caskets. Comes with Grand Admiral Thrawn, 2x literal death trooper, Morgan Elsbeth (nightsister face), 1x Great Mother, 2x Night Trooper, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren (helmet) and Ahsoka the White. Reasoning- like the night trooper pack, it's more of a when than an if.

UCS Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Shuttle ($199.99): Much larger shuttle with interior cockpit and training/conference room, as well as the bunks and the lightsaber equipment room. Comes with Ahsoka the White (dual molded arms and legs) and Huyang (correct colors). Reasoning: This show did pretty well, and we desperately need a better version of her ship.

Agree with all of those. Whilst it didn't play a huge as role as the others,  I think I'd also add:

Home One. I Must admit I'd actually prefer one based of RotJ rather than Ahsoka but I think if you did you could maybe include Hera, Ahsoka, Huyang, a Mon Calamari officer, Ezra in a Stormtroopers outfit and maybe 2 comm officers? [/spoiler]

Very nice  I hope Lego take notes.

So, season 2 of Ahsoka won't be coming before 2025, the Mandalorian's new season seems to be scheduled for late 2024, and both dates seem optimistic... That is bad for fans of the show.

And good for us. A lot of Ahsoka S1 sets could be coming in 2024.

My wish list is not terribly different to most of us here, but mostly I want those:

  • Night Trooper BP
  • Chimera with Thrawn, Enoch, and a Mother, two Night Troopers different from the BP, plus maybe the [Spoiler-Trooper]
  • Scout Guard Starfighter with a Scout Guard and a Scout Guard Pilot

I know the Scout Guard fighter might not be too popular, but I liked it and it has the perfect size for an entry level starfighter build. Think Pirate Snubfighter, though it had much more screentime. Lastly it would go well together with Shin's bigger fighter.

I don’t want to wish list on the main page but in light of the rumour of anniversary figures from potentially any era of Star Wars here are my hopes:

Boss Nass

Durge

The Son (any of the 3 Mortis gods would be cool tbh)

Darth Bane from clone wars season 6

Tion Medon

Black Krrsantan

The Crimson Corsair, Sidon Ithano

YES please. I feel like Acclamator is the last "important" big ship missing. Other than a microscale in '22 Advent Calendar I don't recall it appearing anywhere else.

It's such an iconic ship both from Episode II and the whole Clone Wars show. It was also used in the Imperial era. I doubt we'll see it as a UCS since we just got the UCS Venator, so a play-scale should be plausible. Either make it play-scale like the old Venator or as a midi-scale set like the current Executor but... just make it damn it!

As for the figures I'd love to see a Navy Clone Officer (uniform and a hat), Navy Officer (non-clone), Obi-Wan Kenobi and 2-3 Clone Troopers (P1 variant from TCW).
